This was the most expensive hotel on our entire trip. Although the staff were friendly, rooms were clean and decent and we enjoyed a delicious breakfast at the restaurant, it was very overpriced. There is also a paid parking lot nearby. Be aware that although free overnight, they will ticket after 8am.

From the moment we arrived we felt welcome and we'll looked after. The great service at check in continued all through our stay. The food in the restaurant was excellent during both dinner and breakfast. The room itself was comfy, warm, but could do with a bit of freshening up. This didn't affect our stay at all.

Loch Ness Inn has found the balance of maintaining the charm without sacrificing modern amenities. The rooms were comfortable and clean. Our favourite part was having breakfast downstairs in the morning à la carte. And the Internet connection was much stronger than other places we have stayed.

Easy and welcoming check in. Our room was spotlessly clean, warm and very comfortable. We knew in advance that the room was on the smaller side but was nonetheless more than adequate for our needs. The en-suite shower room was a good size with quality soaps and towels provided. Breakfast was included in our room rate and was superb - lots of choice and delicious. All of the staff that we dealt with were pleasant and helpful. We will look forward to staying here again in the future when the opportunity arises. Excellent!

A little secluded which was a little hard to get around but it’s right on the bus line so do the research of bus schedules and such if you are not an experienced traveler like us. Also make sure to tell the bus to stop when traveling in to town or you’ll end up about a mile up the road by the museum. Uber also is not a thing here, only private taxi services which we were not familiar with and ChatGPT and Google weren’t helpful, only the staff once we got there.
The staff was very friendly and helpful and we were able to make the hike to the castle after one of the friendly ladies working there gave us directions (a little over a mile there and back and is a straight shot) but it’s right on a hiking path with some of the best scenery I’ve seen during my trip with views of the mountain and loch.
Rooms were lock and key which was refreshing. Bar and restaurant were beautiful and food was top notch. Overall a good experience. Just wish the area itself was a little more navigational with uber or taxis to make it to some of the other sites because it’s a very beautiful town and wished I would have stayed another day in that area.

The room was cosy and sufficient for one night. It was tidy, but I could see it was wasn't wiped down properly after the previous guests, as I could still spot evidence of their stay here and there. Thankfully not enough to yuck me out.
If you are a light sleeper, make sure you take some ear plugs, as you can hear almost everything your neighbours are doing and saying, in particular if you are in a downstairs room.

This was a very lovely little inn that has had some lovely modernisation. The new bar at the rear was great. Lots of choices of drinks at very reasonable prices. The restaurant area where we had our breakfast was also very clean and modern but still retained some character and charm off an old inn. Our bedroom which was situated upstairs in the inn was very nice, clean, modern with a good size bathroom and a lovely rainfall shower. Tea and coffee facilities provided which is always a nice touch.
Our only negative was that we arrived thinking we would eat lunch before checking in but the whole place is closed until check in time which is 3pm at which time the bar opens and you can check in but the restaurant doesn’t open until 5pm so we had to drive back into the little town to have lunch. We did stay in April so this may change in the summer season.
All in all a very nice place to stay.
Our only negative was that we arrived thinking we would eat lunch before checking in but the whole place is closed until check in time which is 3pm at which time the bar opens and you can check in but the restaurant doesn’t open until 5pm so we had to drive back into the little town to have lunch. We did stay in April so this may change in the summer season.
All in all a very nice place to stay.
