This was more like a 2/3 star property. We had to carry our own luggage up and down the stairs. Beds were hard and linens were like sandpaper. The location was good but a little difficult to find, and you will have to have your luggage dropped off otherwise drag them through town yourself. Would not recommend.

The hotel was ok. There was a strange/bad smell coming from the air conditioner and the wall was scuffed up from many previous guests suitcases. The bathroom was the smallest we’ve seen in Europe so far (between Turkey, Greece, and Italy). On the plus side, the pool was very nice and the location is great. If you’re simply looking for a bed to sleep in, this place is ok. Otherwise I’d stay somewhere else.

Beautiful & Authentic Capri Stay

Charming property with a true old Italian villa vibe. Rooms are small but cute and clean — nothing overly fancy, but perfect for a Capri getaway. The location is great, close to everything, and the staff is helpful.

The only downside was carrying my luggage up from the port myself — it’s quite a trek. I had no ideal that I can get help.
I highly recommend contacting the hotel beforehand to arrange luggage pickup so you can start your stay on a happy note.

Overall, I’d happily return for a short and sweet Capri escape.

Rooms did not have basic stuffs like iron, lotion, conditioners etc. Breakfast was very simple. One aspect of the stay we hated was that rooms door locks were physical keys which you need hand in at front desk every time you go out. Seriously? It’s 2024 and you still using physical keys for the door. The only positive thing I can say about is the location IF, you wanna stay near Piazzetta ( Capri center). I would not recommend this Hotel

Nice spot, good pool, poor AC

In a good location with a nice pool. Room was fairly basic but was no equipped with a powerful enough AC for the room size.

We asked for support when it was showing 27C in our room but were told it was the best it could do. It was an old radiator type under the window with what looked like a modern AC unit piped in from outside blowing into a cabinet. There was tape inside that looked like was used to hold something to direct the airflow, but it was no longer there.

We were provided a small, rusty, fan which did not make much of a difference. We called later on for another fan and someone came to check on us but then never returned with one.

I used the hotel pamphlets to try and direct some air. Slept on top of the sheets for the night.

The location is perfect. The pool is wonderful. The rooms are spacious with great patios. My only complaint is that the walls are very thin. We were awoken to a couple yelling at each other at 2:30 in the morning. It went on for at least an hour, and it was impossible to sleep. My husband alerted the front desk but they did not seem to care. No one ever apologized or followed up. Luckily the unhappy couple left the next day, and with earplugs we could sleep through the night.

The hotel was great and in a fantastic location. We spent a lot of time at the pool and had great service by Antonio and his staff. They made great drinks and were very helpful and attentive. The only negative thing I had happen was that the room that we were in did not get very cold with the AC. The rest of my families rooms were great but ours never really got very cold and it was hard to sleep.

We loved staying at Villa San Felice. The rooms were spacious, clean and very comfortable. We had a large patio with a table and chairs, overlooking the pool area. The air conditioning kept the room very comfortable (it was very hot when we were there). The buffet breakfast had an excellent assortment of food. Giampiero was very helpful. He recommended an excellent restaurant nearby. He made reservations for us and helped us with transportation around the area. This was by far our best experience in Italy and I can't say enough about this amazing hotel and the service.

We love staying at San Felice

This was our second stay at San Felice. We love it. Great location a few mins walk from main square in Capri, so easy to get to and easy to access all the shops etc. And yet it’s quiet and feels wonderfully secluded.
The staff are all very friendly, welcoming and attentive. You feel special when you are here.
The pool is great, the lemon tree garden refreshing and the breakfast provided is spot on. We only wished it was a bit warmer and drier when we stayed so that we could eat breakfast outside on the terrace under the lemon trees.
Hope we can get back here again one day. We won’t bother looking for another hotel.

DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE. That's the best advice I can give to someone.
They will do absolutely everything possible to treat you badly and if for any reason you cannot make it to Capri (my reason was that there were simply no ferries to Capri due to bad weather) they will simply hold your money and tell you that this is your problem not theirs.
If you don't believe me, read other comments like mine.
Trust me, go find any other hotel in Capri and save yourself a ton of headache and money

One advice to people looking for a hotel in Capri, do yourself a favor and do not book this hotel. They have extremely old looking rooms. Our washroom sink kept clogging which was gross. There was no shampoo, conditioner, lotion nothing. One of the nights the evening receptionist asked us for our key before we left for dinner how bizarre. My husband asked why he needed the key and the receptionist had no answer. Did i mention we paid $950 CAD for 2 nights. Just beyond terrible. We were here for our honeymoon, never returning again.

This is a great location in Capri. Expect to pay for taxis or the gondola down to the main marina area, but the walking path to stores/ restaurants is perfect. The pool area is also a major perk. The hotel was cost effective for us, although we didn’t feel it was the best stay of our trip. The breakfast is very minimal, and although the staff was accommodating they weren’t extremely friendly or invested in our enjoyment. The room was big enough but the pillows hurt my neck so bad I had to get painkillers. Flat as a pancake.

Fab hotel close to centre with pool

Loved staying at Hotel Villa San Felice! The property is well maintained and felt pretty luxurious on arrival. All of the staff are friendly & helpful.
The room was clean & a good size for 2 friends travelling together; the bed was comfy & the shower over bath had good water pressure.
Breakfast was mainly fruit & pastry options.
The pool & area around it for sunbaking was fantastic! Lots of sun beds & pool towels are available from the pool bar. The pool water was cool & you thankfully don’t stink of chlorine when you get out.
I'd love to stay here again & I'd highly recommend it to family & friends.

Superb service and amazing location

One of our favourite place to stay for our trip in Italy. First off, the villa is gorgeous both outside and inside. The service was amazing the moment we set foot in the door. Staffs were helpful and accommodating. We requested hot water and they brought us up a whole array of tea along with the hot water.
The location is amazing since it's very centrally located in Capri. It was a bit of a walk with heavy luggage through the street from getting off the trolley car from the marina but otherwise it was almost a flawless stay. My wife and I even got a free room upgrade which we were very happy about.
My only criticism was that after we checked out we wanted to store our luggage at the hotel and the only option was leave them next to the front desk, there was no locker room which made us feel quite unease. It turned out fine but I wouldn't trust leaving anything valuable at the front desk. Overall, I would highly recommend this location!

Good stay, but not sure it’s a 4 star hotel. Very nice pool, music choice around it is a bit suspect. Rooms are outdated, but the bed is extremely comfortable. No coffee machine in room, no robes, etc. Great location nonetheless.

Hotel was in a quiet alley, but very close to city centre. Good size swimming pool with lunch / restaurant facilities by pool suited us. Chef was very accommodating to dietary needs and food was delicious and fresh. Staff were exceedingly friendly

Hard to fault and in a great position

Fabulous hotel in a great position. The staff were really friendly and made us feel really welcome. Nice pool, pool bar and lounge area. Highly recommend.

Hotel feels very dated. Humidifier in room was broken and leaking upon arrival, told front desk but was never fixed. Shower leaked all over the bathroom. Room smelled of mist because of all the moisture. Location was fine and breakfast was good but room itself was very underwhelming. Hotel is close to everything in Capri.

The hotel is right in the centre of Capri Centro but it is away from the hussle and bustle so it is very peaceful. The room was spacious and comfortable and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.

CAPRI COMFORT & style

We really appreciated the kind and helpful staff (especially the young gentleman) at the front desk. They went out of their way to give us great suggestions for restaurants and things to do during our stay. The room was excellent with a very comfortable bed. Having a delicious breakfast at the hotel was very Enjoyable! A pool in the hot Capri sun was a bonus. We highly recommend this fantastic and affordable hotel! Excellent value for your money.

Gem in the heart of Capri Town

Room immaculate. Location terrific. Staff so kind! We had checked out hours prior and came back to pick up luggage. My daughter had bought a snack at nearby store. One of the staff saw her and brought her water and napkins without anyone asking. That is what I call service!!

This was a wonderful hotel! In the heart of Capri. Clean, friendly and just perfect for a a few days in Capri. What I was most impressed with was the service. I was with my fiancé and they even sent a bottle of champagne to our room as a surprise! The man at the front desk was amazing! The best service! He organized a wonderful dinner last second for us and gave us all the information about renting boats ect. He made out vacation that much more easy, romantic and fun. I deffintily will be returning back to villa San Felice for th nice rooms and the great welcome and customer service!

Quiet and convenient in Capri

One night stay in Capri. This hotel is well located while still being quiet and off the main pedestrian street. The room was pleasant and clean. The pool looked lovely but was not heated. Good breakfast selection.

Very nice hotel, off to the side. But, right in the heart of Capri center. Had room #113 with direct terrace to the pool area. Breakfast was adequate to get your day started. Had lunch by the pool. Giampiero/Hotel manager provided good recommendations for dinner, and also helped booking private boat and ferry back to Naples. Highly recommend using the hotel for luggage transportation to/from the Marina Grande. Had a very pleasant stay !! Hope to visit Capri again !!

Great location with very helpful staff.

We had a wonderful stay at Villa San Felice Highly recommend. The front desk was very helpful in answering questions and booking a boat around the island (for much less than on Viator). The pool was wonderful as was the location. Only complaint was that the A/C could have been better and there where only sheets on the bed, no blankets but it was hot and I didn't ask so I don't see that as a real negative. The breakfast was nice but could have been better. For the price on Capri I thought it was a real deal. I loved the location and the staff really made it. If I am lucky enough to get to go back to Capri I will stay here again!

Peaceful oasis away from the crowds

A very good hotel , hidden away down a back alley .
Try for a superior room as the large private balcony will catch the sun for most of the day , but with no sea view as the hotel built next door probably ruined this ( Rooms 109 , 110 , 205 , 206 , 207, 208 , 209 , and possibly one or two others ) .
Good pool ( which does have a partial sea view ) . Children not allowed in or around the pool after 1pm ( which is a positive or a negative depending on your outlook ! )
