We stayed in the junior suite cave room (3d 2n). Overall experience was great. The staff were warm, helpful, and friendly.
The breakfast was varied and had a great selection, but it was the same selection as the previous day’s. We couldn’t enjoy the pool because of the season, but it looked very inviting. The room itself, I think, needs ventilation. Some things in the bathroom, were falling apart (shower handle), and I wish the bathroom door fully closes for complete privacy. I wish the towels are fluffier and the just more personal hygiene amenities.

Roc of Cappadocia is really conveniently located to everything in the town. It was easy to find and walking distance to everything. It offers a great viewing experience of the hot air balloons and the sunset/sunrise viewing spots are like a 10minute walk (uphill).

I think it was definitely a great value for money experience.

I think they don’t have nothing more to offer for VIP is a small hotel with wonderful location, all people at the hotel are really nice the only thing that I’m recommended is update the rooms …. Because it is a cave and the rock gives off dust, having more decoration makes you feel that it is not clean. I think they should remove flowers and carpets and it would look more authentic and cleaner since the dust falls from the rock and would be cleaned daily and would not accumulate, especially on the carpet.,

One of the best hotels I ever stayed at! Everything was 10/10. The property is absolutely beautiful, the breakfast every morning was delicious, the staff were amazing, and the views were stunning. I had the room with the private terrace which was nice to spend time there throughout the day. But if you don’t get that room, there are other terrace that you can relax on that are just as beautiful too!

Also, this hotel is great for the balloon viewing as well! So many spots on the property that you can watch from.

Close to town which was great and not too far uphill (so you don’t have to worry about the walk!). If you want to catch a taxi, the taxi station is about a 5 min walk away

Loved staying here, came with my 2 daughters, both early 20s, our room was a little smaller than I’d thought, but it was fine as we spent little time in it and the shower was very good and powerful.
The pool was great and plenty of terraces to relax in and sample the home grown grapes!
Nothing was too much trouble for the host, providing extra towels for us and generally very helpful.
Watching the balloons from the terrace was amazing, no need to climb up to viewing point.

The owner and staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. The rooftop and the little pool added such a charming touch to the place. Everything about this hotel made my stay 100% enjoyable — I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Perfect stay in Cappadocia! The hotel's location was ideal, surrounded by restaurants and charming souvenir shops, making evening strolls a delight. The staff was exceptionally warm and helpful, coordinating all our activities including the hot air balloon ride flawlessly. Breakfast was a feast with amazing variety of Turkish home-made breads and other options. They took care of everything, making our vacation completely stress-free. Overall it was very good. They are preparing for the season so not everything was in tip top condition. Breakfast was good. It was a very cosy cave like room we stayed in and it had all the amenities. It was perfect for our needs as an overnight stay to facilitate our hot air balloon ride. Overall I would give 4.5 out if 5

I had a wonderful stay at Roc of Cappadocia! The cave room that I stayed in was beautiful and clean with an extremely comfortable bed, great shower head and fantastic head/AC. The property is stunning and right in the heart of town. The continental breakfast was delicious with loads of options and Ahmet was a such a great host - he assisted me with my airport transportation and all of the tours around town (highly recommend the red tour of town). The balloon tour was fantastic and I can’t wait to visit again soon!

Amazing stay!

Honestly incredible. It really doesn’t matter if you have a balcony/patio because the whole thing is a balcony! Amazing views from all over. Even with no AC, it stays very cool because the rooms are just small caves (and we were there in the height of summer). You MUST get up at sunrise for photos within the hotel complex. We got better photos right outside our door than we did on an actual hot air balloon.

We Couldn't Have Been Happier

The pictures often oversell a property, but in this case they were right on the money. The setting was truly beautiful. The location was tucked away yet convenient to shops and restaurants, but the highlight was truly the staff. More than just helpful, they really made us feel at home. We cannot recommend highly enough.

I stayed in a suite. It was a real cave in the Cappadocian stone. What an experience!
The communal areas, including terraces and the little pool, are well kept, with a lot of greenery, and it was a pleasure to stay there and just chill. It also makes a wonderful location for your pictures at the sunrise when the flying balloons lift.
The staff was very kind and helpful, they arranged for me the transfer, the activities, and the flying balloon tour.
Little tip: I think it’s a bit less expensive to book the flying balloon on site than online in advance ;)

What a gem of a cave hotel! It’s a beautiful hotel in the heart of Goreme. Flowering plants adorn the property. There are multiple terraces including a rooftop one with spectacular views. The pool is a lovely attraction on a hot day. The rooms are comfortable and well appointed. The staff arranged transfers and reservations. Ahmet, Omer, and Gunes were kind and helpful. My only complaint is that the transfer company that was arranged for airport picked up made us wait an hour and a half before leaving, and we didn’t arrive to the hotel until midnight with a pre dawn pick up the next day for a balloon ride. Otherwise, it was a perfect stay.

There was an overbooking issue at the original hotel I booked and hence a last minute cancellation from the hotel. End up the agent found me the Roc of Cappadocia Hotel and I can’t be happier for our stay. Highly commended.
This hotel is clean, spacious with great view at the terrace to overview the hot air balloons. Tour booking is very efficient. Great and friendly services. We even felt genuine welcomed from the hotel owner and staffs that I don’t get from the city chained hotels. The hotel is steps away from town / restaurants / bus stop and very convenient for travelling. Also it’s easy to carry on the route outside the hotel to walk up to the hill (lesser than 10 minutes walk) to see Cappadocia from hilltop.
Breakfast could be improved but I wouldn’t complain when weighing the overall score - I still give this hotel 10 out if 10.

The service at this hotel was exceptional, staff are really helpful and supported us with activities to do in Kapadokya. The hotel is closer to the town centre thus it was very easy to get to there and to find nearby restaurants. The only thing I would say is breakfast options are rather limitedd.

Stayed 6 nights with a visiting friend and we had 2 rooms. We both loved it.. a big part being the wonderful family that owns it.. they were so kind and gracious. Thank you Fatma and Ahmed for all your help. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, homemade jams, omelette by request, in a lovely setting. The staff were so kind n gracious, Fatma the cleaning lady n Omar who arranged breakfast.. People should consider leaving them some gratuities for their constant hard work. Excellent views for balloon watching and 5 min walk into the town. Thank you so much to the amazing family, You showed us TRUE TURKISH HOSPITALITY. Cant wait to some back in Aug

The service and hospitality at Roc of Capadoccia is second to none, literally- we had never experienced such kindness and helpfulness at a hotel before. The staff helped us book tours and travel, solve problems we encountered, and were consistently friendly and proactive throughout our stay. The room was comfortable and well-kept, the premises were clean, and the breakfast offered a good variety of fresh options. You also have access to outdoor terraces from which you can watch the balloons in the morning (not every place in the area offers this advantage). Charming and nestled within the characteristic rock formations of Göreme, I would recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for a place to stay in the region of Capadoccia!

Amazing stay here at Roc of Cappadocia. Yunus and his extended family went out their way to make us feel at home. We enjoyed one really lovely moment sat with them around a fire they set up on the terrace with tea and wine with a stunning sunset view. Be sure to book your balloon flight here with Atmosfer Balloons (Yunus pilots for them) and we recommend the sunset horse ride, green tour and Turkish bath; all of which we booked through the hotel as well as our airport transfers which were great value.
Room was big but cosy. Stunning views and perfect location to walk into town where there are some great restaurants. Also walkable to Goreme open air museum, Love Valley et al.
Thanks for a lovely stay. We will miss the homemade rose jam at breakfast! Wish you all the best and hope to be back soon.

Stayed 4 nights and absolutely loved it. Wonderful, clean and comfortable rooms. Beautiful setting with caves in the backdrop. The hotel is run by a wonderful family and they ensured I was comfortable.
Delicious Breakfast prepared by the Mother including homemade jams. Location was perfect and central. I loved my stay with this warm and wonderful family. I have already booked another 5 days in the summer.

We just spent 3 nights in the King Cave Suite and absolutely loved it. The room was lovely, and the view from the terrace was stunning. The thing that made our stay so enjoyable was the family that runs the hotel. They were kind and gracious hosts, and went out of their way to make us feel as if we were an extension of their family, and to help us arrange tours, find restaurants to try, etc. Breakfast in the morning is a basic, Turkish style meal - olives, various cheeses, breads, jams, cereals, and also they will cook eggs for you. The one small thing we would recommend is a softer mattress for the bed. As far as location, we were just steps from the main part of the town, so it was easy to walk to restaurants and shops. We also walked to Goreme Open Air Museum, though it is probably close to a mile uphill. One note is that you must be able to climb stairs to access the rooms, but that is the case with most of the hotels in the area due to the geography of the region. We would definitely stay here again if we return to the area.

Our stay at Roc Of Cappadocia could not have been more perfect. It's was perfectly located, breakfast was good and the family that runs the hotel are great. They pay attention to detail and help you as best as they Can- even with tours and transfers. They really do make you feel as if you're part of their family. Highly recommend staying here if you're visiting cappadocia.
