Cappadocia Cave Suites is in a prime location, just a two-minute walk from Lovers Hill, making it perfect for taking in the iconic views. The private balcony was a real highlight—ideal for watching the hot air balloons drift across the sky each morning.

The staff were exceptional: friendly, welcoming, and very knowledgeable about the area, always happy to offer recommendations and help plan activities.

Overall, the place is truly incredible and made for a memorable stay.

The suite given to us was pretty big and gave you the feeling of staying in a proper cave hotel. The property was within walking distance to the centre of Göreme village and close to all the restaurants. The hotel staff was also very helpful in arranging the airport shuttle and various other activities.

Interesting experience. The cave room was enjoyable but there is considerable dust because it is a dirt room. The staff do a great job of cleaning but there's only so much they can do. Our room had the toilet placed so that it could be seen directly from not only the bedroom, but also from the entry door of the room. There was no door between the bedroom and toilet/bathroom so there is ZERO privacy from others in the room, or from the public if the front door to the room is opened. It's as if the toilet was purposely placed there, They could have easily built a wall around the toilet. Reception was surprised when we told them but didn't consider it to be an urgent matter. Breakfast was excellent. The restaurant for dinner was closed and it is a hike down the hill to find food places.

I loved our stay here. Fantastic atmosphere and comfortable rooms especially the bed.
the service from the staff was 5 star , they are only too happy to help. We were served a lovely breakfast each morning. There are amazing views from the outdoor balcony areas particularly in the mornings watching the balloons. A short walk downhill and back up from the main street with heaps of shops and restaurants.
I’ll stay here again if I come back.

The staff were exceptional—gracious, attentive & fun! We Loved Yusuf and Dennis as they welcomed us with good energy and a sense of humor!

Wandering the property was a joy in itself. Courtyards bathed in golden light, panoramic views of Göreme, and quiet corners perfect for reflection. It’s not just a hotel—it’s a sanctuary.

Our stay at Cappadocia Cave Suites was absolutely amazing! The cave rooms are beautiful, comfortable, and full of character — a perfect blend of history and luxury. The views from the terrace are breathtaking, especially at sunrise when the hot air balloons fill the sky.

This is a great property with beautiful rooms and awesome views overlooking the city and valley. Breakfast was great, staff is very friendly and accommodating.
There was a little construction going on outside our room which was somewhat annoying if you were trying to rest, but not a huge deal.
We got luckly with going on our scheduled balloon ride since every prior day for a week was cancelled. We rented a car so were able to drive to surrounding sites like the open air museum (walkable), love valley, underground city etc. The staff provided us sandwiches early morning befire our drive to the airport which was totally unexpected but very thoughtful. Would recommend this property.

This is a great hotel!

Loved everything about this hotel. It is carved into three natural chimneys. It's a bit of a maze but that adds to the charm. Staff is super friendly. Breakfast was great. Rooms are spacious. Loved my time there. Will repeat.

Added bonus, rooftop terrace provides an excellent view of the balloons at sunrise. You can literally walk out of your room and enjoy the view.

Average room with lots to desire

Room is designed nicely in old style decor. However sofa is impossible to sit as it a 4 feet wide day bed and you always will not be able to rest on anything. Serious lack of table space, no desk, no drawers, no small stool or anything you can keep your stuff other than small entrance table with coffee machine. We were using the floor to put all or personal stuff. Very small vanity space to put your personal stuff

Hotel itself is beautiful and a great location for balloon watching. The main complaint is our family suite was very hot in the back where the adults sleep. The a/c doesn’t reach the back. We had to ask for a fan which helped but still warm and stuffy. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.

We had a flawless experience with the cave suites. Because there was construction going on close to our first suite, we were given a complimentary upgrade to a larger and better room when we arrived. Since we were only going to be staying for three nights, the staff were concerned about our comfort and gave us the upgrade without even asking. Every employee was warm and welcoming. Along with easy access to the center of Groeme and a breathtaking panoramic view, we also enjoyed a lovely view of the hot air balloons from our hotel.

My wife and I recently stayed at this beautiful hotel, and we couldn't have been more pleased with our experience. Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised to find that our room had been upgraded, transforming it into a stunning and romantic space that really set the mood for our getaway.

The hotel staff were incredibly helpful and attentive whenever we encountered any issues, ensuring that our stay was as comfortable as possible. The hotel itself is gorgeous, with breathtaking views, especially of the hot air balloons that add a magical touch to the landscape.
We booked last minute and they still help with airport transfer. It was very reasonably priced compared to the other hotels in the area and in a great location. It was a little up the hill so more quiet but still easily existible to the downtown.

We would highly recommend this hotel for couples looking for a romantic escape or anyone visiting Goreme. We can't wait to return!

The room was clean, comfortable and a shower that I miss on returning home.
Every member of staff was friendly and went out of their way.

Our trip started with a bit of a hiccup—some of our friends accidentally booked a different hotel. We arrived in the middle of the night and only realized the mix-up then. Thankfully, the staff had already upgraded our room, and when we asked if all five of us could stay in the same room just for that night, they kindly said yes. It was such a generous gesture and really set the tone for the rest of our stay.

The next morning, three of us showed up for breakfast, and to our surprise, the staff had already prepared breakfast for our two friends as well—even though they weren’t staying at the hotel! They even encouraged us to try traditional Turkish delights like menemen and Turkish coffee. The friendliness, warmth, and top-notch service made this experience unforgettable.

Their thoughtfulness didn’t stop there. On our departure day, we had to leave very early, before breakfast hours, and the reception immediately offered to prepare breakfast boxes—not just for the three of us staying there, but for all five of us. That kind of above-and-beyond hospitality is truly rare. I highly recommend this place.

We had an amazing stay. I would say we had more than a great stay, I would say we had a great experience. I’ll start with the basics. Check in was fast. We stayed in a quadruple room, it was spacious. The beds were comfortable. Very good water pressure and plenty of hot water. The hotel provided water and a basket full of shampoo, conditioner etc. The service provided by all the staff was great, from the front desk to house keeping.
That would be enough for a good stay. But those are overshadowed by the amazing breakfast experience. The staff was exceptional. On top of the abundant selection, they offered omelettes and eggs, brought items fresh made for you to try. The gentleman (wish I remembered his name) remembered where guests were from and had little banters with them. Breakfast was a highlight, and anywhere else would have been the highlight.
But the decor team is what took this stay to an experience. The attention to detail making each space beautiful was extraordinary. There are multiple terraces each lovingly decorated. The flowers, the carpets, the decor creates an ambiance that makes you feel comfortable and surrounded by beauty. I took so many photos of the hotel common spaces. This is what put it over the top and made it an experience for me.

Property is walking distance to everything in Goreme. But the rooms are really small, our toilet seat was broken, we had trash in the can when we checked in. Hotel staff was really nice very firm but nice. We didn’t get to experience the balloons view bc it was cancelled. The terrace is beautiful. We went down 20 minutes before breakfast closed so we opted out so we wouldn’t inconvenience staff.

You can’t beat the scenic location! fantastic views (especially for morning balloons), just a few minutes to dozens of restaurants, one of a kind rooms with multiple terraces.
And the service! the staff provide great suggestions for activities, make bookings, even got us a last minute balloon flight. Special shoutout to Softic in the breakfast room, who made me the most delicious Turkish Bruscetta. The breakfast (included) is overall excellent-the menimem was one of the best things I ate in two weeks of really good food.

It is at very desirable location but facilities is underwhelming at this price. I am living in Silicon valley thus I am used to high price. This hotel is not cheap at my standard but definitely overpriced. Let me go through the list.
No gym, no amenities like pool, missing many benefits you could expect fro other hotels. It is likely most of hotels in Goereme are like this since it is in the middle of caves.
I guess Cappadocia area is overpriced and low quality. You may pay high price if you want to experience unique nature in Cappadocia

Excellent cave hotel in the heart of Cappadocia

This is a cave hotel in one of the most unique geographic regions of the world. I stayed in what was once a cave home that's now part of this hotel. Some higher rooms have windows and views, but it was a real experience staying iny my room within the rock hill. Spacious room with living room area. Very friendly staff eager to accommodate. Terrace offers great views of the early morning balloon flight famous in Cappadocia.

The property rooms consist in caves, it’s a unique experience but be aware that white dust is constantly dropping from the ceiling. The AC is setup in a way that it can get really hot inside even if it’s cold outside and there is no way to cool down the room. The property is beautiful with magnificent views of the town and chimneys as well as the balloon shows but needs maintenance specially the bathroom is leaky and not very clean.
