I was warmly welcomed by Morfydd into her farmhouse. The house has a homely feel to it, and is full of character. Everything felt immaculate.
The room, with an en-suite bathroom, was very spacious and exceptionally clean, and generously stocked with refreshments (the Welsh cake in particular was delicious!). The bed was very comfortable, and the environment calm and quiet.
Morfydd provided ample breakfast in the morning, enough to see one through until dinner!

Fantastic place with a brilliant owner. Room was spacious. Breakfast was great and my gluten free request was not an issue at all.
The only very minor issue is the bathroom towels were not very big.

Had the most comfortable 2-nite stay here. Spacious, lovely room with complete amenities and more - thoughtful touches like biscuits, chocs & sweet nibblets and coasters too! Mrs Jones is the most gracious host - wish I had more time to chat with her. Breakfast was a superbly delicious treat - was spoiled for choice. Was so full, I skipped lunch. Thank you for opening up your home to us travellers.

A lovely relaxing b&b

A very friendly host who went out of her way to make guests feel at home. From friendly chats to little treats ie homemade cakes in the room with tea and coffee. The room was spacious and clean by right and airy. Breakfast was freshly cooked with plenty of tea and coffee along with fresh fruit and cereal. Overall a very pleasant relaxing and homely stay.

The property is a farmhouse, very much away from any town or city. Peaceful and quiet. The owner is a very nice woman. She prepared a wonderful breakfast for us each day. We eere there 5 days. No complaints. We highly recommend staying there.

Mrs Morfydd Jones is a wonderful host and at 81 is an absolute angel.
Farmhouse Lochmeyler is a working farm surrounded by beautiful green fields with birds chirping their songs of joy!!
The room was super comfortable with tea-making facilities, offering a lovely view across pristine Welsh fields...
The breakfast was beautifully and tastefully prepared with the most homely tableware.
Just one word of caution the Farmhouse Lochmeyler is adjacent to another property which is extremely confusing when arriving at night, do not cross the cattle grid as it’s the wrong house.
Just a little further up the road and you’ve arrived in what can only be described as a slice of Heaven.

It is a beautiful calm place to stay. The facility is top notch. The room I stayed in was big, with a nice modern bathroom. The owner is a lovely lady to talk to, and she looks after your needs. The place is quite close to Porthgain, and St. David.

My stay was very nice. The room was great, everything very clean. The only downside was that people on the upper floor could be heard very well walking around in the early morning. The breakfast though was truly excellent and prepared with so much care. I would go back!

Welcome comfort after a coastal tour

Comfortable spacious room.
Well equipped bathroom.
Friendly landlady had baked cakes for the fridge in the room and for breakfast.
Plenty of tea and biscuits.
Rural location but within 15 minutes drive to St David's and beaches.
Good breakfast with fruit, cereal and fry up.
Great cycling country.

Delightful and quiet retreat

A delightful rural location at a working dairy farm. The farmhouse is situated in the middle of the Welsh countryside with no shops, restaurants or pubs within walking distance. As such this is an attractively quiet location, ideal for walkers and lovers of nature.

Hospitality At Its Best

Mrs Jones is a warm, welcoming and generous hostess. Excellent choice at breakfast, beautifully cooked, with extras such as fruit and home-made cakes to take away for elevenses! Our room was spotless, spacious and very comfortable, with unlimited tea, coffee, fresh milk and bottled water in the fridge, and more cakes!
The Farmhouse is well situated for visits to the coast and countryside, and there are several pubs and restaurants within a four-mile radius, although none within walking distance. Can highly recommend The Farmhouse, Lochmeyler.

You really are staying in a farmhouse. Accommodation is very comfortable and you learn to appreciate much about contemporary dairy farming. At the same time the location is very convenient for visiting beaches and most interesting locations on the cliff path.

Peace and Quiet

A brilliant place to stay. Clean, quiet and Mrs Jones is a perfect hostess. I wish I could have stayed longer but will definitely use The Farmhouse again.
