Beeches Hotel &Spa is a clean tidy hotel. Rooms were spacious. Breakfast was a hot home made breakfast. Staff were all friendly. Retail park 5 min drive away. With many shops.

Great location and views. Poor marking and signs for car park and disabled bays. Sadly I made a mistake parking in an unmarked disabled bay at the front. (Didn’t know there was more parking) got a nice call saying please can I move the van which I did. But came back after dinner with another work van in the same space. Moaned about it and won’t lie was pretty miffed off. In the morning van was still there. Cba with being told to move and not telling others to move. Whilst we’re at it the pool was warm (decent) cold walking back to changing rooms after swim) sauna takes more than the time I spent in it to be any where near hot enough to want to ever go back (830am) had to work out how to get it on with no info to explain. Breakfast brilliant staff great except for check in where one lady said she was too busy doing something and was higher up than the other ( who was also busy) made her break off and check us in. She was up herself and needs to respect the other lady who clearly was lovely and brushed it off. Nice hotel great staff and good food. Brilliant beach and views. Not a great location to trains from location if you’re not fit enough to walk 15-20 mins but luckily iam. Great pubs in town and good options for food

What a lovely hotel.

I stayed for one night in a single room whilst working in the area. My room was more than adequate with a rather large single more of a 3/4 double which was really comfortable, nice temperature.

All of the staff that I came into contact with were just Absoloutley lovely people and could not help anymore.

Breakfast was on another level, I opted for the full English, outstanding is all I can say.

If I had to find fault it is that my shower wouldn’t maintain a constant temp it kept fluctuating.

Would defo stay again.

Having a the two interconnecting rooms worked really well for our family with teenagers and having 2 bathrooms also helps with getting ready. The room was very clean, plenty of tea and coffee and bottled water replaced every morning. Lovely fluffy towels which were replaced when needed. The staff were all really friendly and helpful. We used the swimming pool which again was lovely and clean with good changing facilities. We will definately stay here again.

The hotel staff were friendly but cleanliness of the hotel was poor. The hotel smelt badly of cooking fat, and there were dirty plates, wine glasses, beer bottles and an empty bottle of wine outside our room for over 24hours. These were there when we arrived and were only cleaned away the following day. There was also two full bin liners in the corridor of our room that weren’t cleared way for over 24 hours too.
The food in the restaurant was not very nice. No flavour but quite expensive. The breakfast was lovely and the staff were friendly. Shame about the cleanliness

Lovely hospitality and friendly staff. The food was plentiful and tasty. We stayed for dinner and weren't disappointed. Breakfast was delicious too but no pastries.

Location-wise I imagine in the summer it is gorgeous!

The weather was awful the night we stayed and the howling wind and rain on the west-facing window kept us up all night, unfortunately. There were also large numbers of bluebottle flies living (and dying!) in the window frames.

My children found the pool too cold so we only lasted 15 minutes or so.

But the sauna was a great bonus! That was my favourite bit of the stay!

One night stay got off to a bad start as the room was cold and we couldn’t get the radiator to work. The ladies on reception were not sympathetic or helpful. It turned out the heating was broken and they had to get an engineer out. We didn’t use the leisure centre as thought this would be cold too. Once the heating was fixed it improved. The bed was comfortable and the shower powerful . The food in the bistro and at breakfast was good

Oh I do like to be beside the seaside!

Stayed for two nights, nice quiet room. Clean and plenty of tea, coffee,bathroom products.
Staff vey helpful and breakfast was nice an hot.. Had dinner there both nights, both were tasty meals, service was a bit slow when busy. Jeff and his team were very friendly. There was nice seating area to have a drink later. Pool was adequate and not too many in there. Hotel on beach front so great for my grandson. Overall a lovely place to stay. We will be back.

We had the best time and would have given five stars. This was the first time ever that I have been asked to book breakfast as soon as I arrive. We had had a busy day and was not thinking about getting up at a specific time. I understand why you ask but I also noticed a big rush on the hour. If you simply stated breakfast was between two times I really think the flow would have been better. Certainly it would have been more relaxed. Overall very happy and would stay again and will recommend to any one staying in the area.

Amazing two days with the grandsons , hotel was 5 star … staff were very friendly and accommodating, sorry didn’t get any names but every single one of them couldn’t do enough for you , the pool was amazing , the boys loved it and for most of the time we had the pool to ourselves, the beach was fantastic, spent hours on there , food was great, we will definitely return. Good location with the beach on one side, but has a large Pontins site on the other side that closed down a couple of years ago. Obviously very quiet, but sad looking.
Bathrooms were a little tired, but the rest of the hotel has benefitted from some good design choices (bright furniture and wallpapers).
Food was good (breakfast and dinner). Pool is small, but ok if you don't want to swim for fitness.

Lovely spa area...breakfast was quite bland and boring. Location great. Rooms were quite old-fashioned and our bathroom was quite rusty although the photos on Expedia showed a modern bathroom... staff were polite. Cleaning at room service wasn't great as we came back to dorty toilet and unwashed cups. We fedback at the reception and they welcomed our feedback. Food at the restaurant was Weathersproon quality but much more expensive. Restaurant staff were so lovely.

Warm welcome, all the staff were really lovely and efficient ie reception, bar, breakfast. Bed was comfy, pillows were not. Bedroom was very clean, but the bathroom door didn’t shut, the night light stayed on and the curtains did not shut properly. Breakfast was tasty.

Oldern days hotel with very basic amenities. I was in the loft section so windows could either be fully swung open or locked which wasnt great when it was hot during night. Shower room was tiny with cold water in the morning. Food was expensive for what you got.

Stayed in a twin room with sea view. Most desirable location where you can watch and listen to the ocean even lying in bed. Food and the drinks were excellent, staff are professional,warm, polite and helpful. Rooms are clean. Windows are openable for fresh air. Will try the beauty treatment next time, car park is big and next to the hotel. Promenade just outsider the door. Only wish if the bathroom and the room were bigger but it is a former “Grand hotel” I think so structure of the bedroom is hard to enlarge. I would spray some wd40 on bathroom door to stop the squeaking sound around. Overall a very pleasant stay. Perfect for a relaxing stay over.

Only booked in here as last minute guests as visiting freinds,
Hotel very clean and modern,
All staff were very friendly,
Location is a bit out of the way unless you like a good walk or have transport,
Parking is free and handy just across the road.
Room was last minute so ended up with the end of the corridor next to the busy stair door way always noisy from other guests using it,
Price seemed a bit high for an overnight stay but would recommend…!

Nice hotel, terrible afternoon tea

The hotel was nice close to the beach, the bed was comfortable and the room was a good size as I went for the bigger room Breakfast was good and the staff were fast to serve you. Where it went wrong was the AFTERNOON TEA, it was the worst one we have ever had for nearly £50 for 2, so we didn't touch our food and I complained and was told by the manager you have already paid so there is nothing I can do she was so rude about it as well

Perfect location at the beach, felt remote from the rest of the world, ideal for taking a short break. Our quadruple room (sea view to the side) was comfortable with all amenities and had two bathrooms. A door between the two bedrooms would have been better. The cooked breakfast had to be ordered, good variety of breakfast items available. The food served in the restaurant for dinner was also very good. Overall the staff at the hotel was very friendly and helpful. The spa area was a bit of a let down. The changing rooms weren’t cleaned during the day (at least looked like that in the late afternoon), the pool water was quite cold (but that might be personal preference) and the sauna/steam room was out of order during our stay. Had booked a massage in advance with Naomi and thoroughly enjoyed this.

We Enjoyed our stay, The pool was Lovely, Staff were Friendly. Just sml things in our room, Like ill fitting Door. Lets Light in during the night, Shower head Broken, Cannot alter it, as drops to bottom, Sink plug was missing off sink was hung on pipe under Toilet, No Lock on Inside of Bathroom door. some people need privacy, The Deco / Beautiful Bathroom, yet a Pine mirror put on wall? Why not Just a plain glass mirror? Handle on door does not fasten shut. Sml things like this Does let The Hotel Down, Could Not understand why The Monkey Lamp Was in the room, as Did not reach a socket & Did Not go with The Deco. The Deco needs to be better thought of. All in all Lovely Stay & We will Book again, Thank you,
