Easy check in. Friendly staff. Nice room. While parking was not included, it was easy to park in front of the hotel and it was free. Nice breakfast. Short walk to the beach. Good location. Quiet. Stayed 3 nights and would go back. Spent 2 weeks in the Algarve, changing city and hotel every 3 days and this place was my favorite.

The location is amazing. Our room was next to staff room so was quite lead in the am. Our key card stopped working and had to go to front desk 4 times before getting a manual key. The shower head also fell off on us.

Great little B&B with friendly staff and ample breakfast each day. The room, while fairly basic, did the trick and was comfortable. Walkable location and easy to get to nearby restaurants. Close to everything and very comfortable!

Easy to park and access. Check in was smooth. Our room was on the second floor with a window looking out to the coast. We could open the window and listen to the waves all night. So close to everything. The bed was amazing! Huge bathtub and lots of warm water. The breakfast filled us up with many options for breads, pastries, coffees…the elevator made it really easy to move our luggage to the room.

Overall, everything was nice. The room had everything described and worked well. The breakfast was good and had a variety of things to choose from. There wasn't a big selection of food choices right where we were at, but had a good pizza that night and enjoy the singer. A good rate for what you got.

We had a great welcome and our room was a big room and bathroom. All new with a 70`s colour scheme ! The hotel is on the front in the old town and the beach is below it is a beautiful sight and access is available for all.
Breakfast (overlooking the sea) was very good with lots of choice but I`m sorry to say the coffee was bad it was from a machine sweet and powdered !

Nice staff, all speak English. Joao fully fluent in English. Others as well.
Clean property, shower water pressure best I ever had.
Nice breakfast.
Close to beach and restaurants and Vamus bus stop to go Lagos.
Nice cafe and pizza place on site.
Supermarket Spars and MB ATM 5 minutes walk. ATMs in Portugal only dispense 400 Euros daily in two 200 euro batches. No ATM fee is charged, only your bank's.
Far away from Faro airport (120 KM) transfers may be expensive (about 100 euro each way).
Parking on the streets around seems to be free and safe.
Stayed Feb 6-13 2023. Very windy location (Sagres).

After riding my bike for 8 hours I arrived in Sagres at 8 pm. The location is great, very close to Mareta Beach, it is on the main street. The room was spotless and the breakfast yummy.

Minimalist style, clean and comfortable. The bar and pool we could use next door was a nice surprise as was the welcome drink. Good restaurants and beach easy walking distance. The breakfast was more than adequate. The Sagres Fortress is close by and very interesting. Great views all around the area.

Great and convenient location

Great location in the “heart” of town including a short walk to a few beaches, a private pool, historical sites, and restaurants. The walls are thin but, luckily, everyone went to bed early at the hotel. However, there was a nightly party that went on in town that was definitely audible if you face the street.

Not what I would class as \" Boutique \"

We were expecting a much smaller hotel being as it is called a Boutique B & B. We would describe it as a regular hotel .However the staff were lovely , the pool area was lovely . Our biggest disappointment was the noise levels from 6 am onwards , constant slamming of doors , heavy movement going on below which echoed through the all concrete building . We went for a week of relaxation but were sadly woken every morning very early . Overall it is a lovely hotel and we would stay again but would take some ear defenders !

Overall the hotel was clean and simple. Few amenities. The cafe closed earlier than expected the nights we were there which was unfortunate since there’s no other quick shop to buy water. Front desk person who checked us in was rude, didn’t say more than two words, forgot to give us a tv remote, and then hung out in the cafe all evening. Either just rude or wearing too many hats. Breakfast was just ok, you get what you pay for.

Overall experience was positive. Check in was a little disappointing as gentleman at the desk was not overly friendly. He started to take our information and then received a phone call. We were ignored for quite some time with no ‘just a minute’ or anything until another very nice young lady came by and checked us in. The room was clean and comfortable but I was not able to log in to the wifi from the room, just the lobby. I asked another gentleman at the desk about it later in the evening and he came right up and reset the server. He was very nice but it did not make a difference.

A fabulous hotel in Sagres - perfect stay.

We loved, loved, loved this hotel. The location, the views, the beach, the room, the breakfast were all amazing. Best location in town with tremendous views. Coffee shop on first floor. Breakfast was so delicious. Short walk tot he beach. Plenty of good restaurants within 1000 yards. Really great spot.

After a simple registration we found our room to be scrupulously clean and comfortable. Lovely balcony looking out onto the square with a sun lounger. The breakfast room was large and airy with a huge variety of foodstuffs for a great continental breakfast. The staff were so helpful and friendly

My husband and I thought the hotel was wonderful . However there are two Mareta beach hotels on the same block and I thought I had reserved a room with a view of the water . When I was shown our room the view was of construction and even if that building was completed it was not the same perspective . The other hotel had been used in their advertising . The receptionist explained that people sometimes found this confusing but didn't I see that even the rooms were different . It was not a problem but I felt a misrepresentation of the property. Our stay was wonderful , close to the fortress, easy beach access, nice Italian restaurant downstairs and a cafe .

Nice hotel. Comfortable room. Front desk staff warned us that wifi coverage in the rooms is spotty, but we had a good signal and performance. Conveniently located, but parking could be a problem in busier time of the year. We were lucky and found street parking near the hotel.

A great spot!

This hotel is ideally located in Sagres. It's a short walk to two beaches, the fort, and a great street with good dining options on it. There are also some bars, as well as a small store, across from the square that the hotel sits on. Staff were friendly, helpful and very accommodating. We also enjoyed the breakfast, which is a nice perk to start your day.

Nice location. Very good location. Hotel very cute from the outside. Inside the rooms are very simple. You get a remote for the TV when you check in...odd! Shower had very strong pressure and poor cradle to hold it. Had water go all over the floor. For the price paid, good value. Would not stay for more than couple of days, but OK for weekend getaway

The staff were nice, the place was clean, the room was basic the location good and plenty of the same breakfast. Unfortunately two angry Alsatians outside our balcony, an Italian restaurant that played David grey over and over, a road and round-about just left of the dogs, a breakfast room with no air con or windows and scowls off the cleaners when we took or food to the balcony to then be barked at by the dogs. Disappointed as their is another Maretta bed and breakfast just around the corner, same company, cheaper, sun loungers, hot tub, sea views and palm trees. I don't understand why it has boutique in the name? I would stay at the other Mareta place. This one is noisy and basic as we went for the superior room with balcony. I tried to add photos but it wouldn't let me :(

The B&B is in a good location near Maretta Beach and to the town and local restaurants. Breakfast is nice consisting of fruit, cereals, continental breakfast and runs till 1030am which is good. It is pretty noisy in the morning time though as it is quite close to the road and the room I stayed in was near the lifts so was woken up early each morning.

Nice modern place to stay

The Mareta Beach is a very modern place to stay and we enjoyed our time here. It is in a very good location with a view of the sea, and just two or three minutes from a nice beach, and ten or so minutes from cliffs in two directions. The rooms are very comfortable and fitted with large LCD televisions which can receive BBC1 (the aspect ratio is not right for the English channels, but I am being being picky to mention that!).

The breakfast buffet is downstairs (the floor below reception) where they do a nice cold selection including fresh fruit and fresh juice. On one day of our stay the buffet was closed so we were allowed anything from the Mareta Beach cafe, which was nice.

Modern clean hotel very close to beach with an average breakfast offering. However, beware it you are allocated a room with a land view as there is a local bar which you can hear the thumping music and often the people shout at each other very loud outside - not great if you are a light sleeper.
