Beautiful little hotel in quiet area. Walkable to little town and tons of good options. Very quaint area. Pool is lovely. Hotel is not on the water. If you want to go to the beach, you must book in advance at tonnara di Scopello. We hadn’t and so could not go down. The zingaro nature reserve was also closed due to a fire. The area is still worth a visit, but book the beach before you arrive. We were even off season.

The desk staff were lovely and so accommodating. Very organized, helpful and there was a wonderful breakfast ( if included in your reservation) each morning. Additionally there is an Infinity pool, ample parking and walking distance from the cute village that has restaurants, shopping and a gelato store.

Amazing place! Very well located, The staff were very friendly and helpful. Bedroom was comfortable, clean. It has a little balcony and you can see the sea. Air conditioning available, and the room was already in a very nice temperature when we arrive. The hotel has a swimming pool in the central area, and was amazing spending time there with Nice background music. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant and it was delicious, and amazing service. I definitely recommend.

Lovely hotel well located

Very nice hotel overlooking teh sea in Scopello. Great swinging pool, and good location in a lively small village. Staff was very helpful and all in all was a very pleasant experience. The bathroom was starting to look old and in need of refurbishment. The breakfast could be better and at least to have fresh orange juice. WE had a bad experience with teh taxi driver that the hotel booked. He fell asleep whilst driving for about 10 seconds and started to vire off the road, fortunately I woken him up and danger was averted, but it could have been a nasty accident. The hotel needs to take notice of this.

Recommended for families, 15 min walk from beach

+ : great location (15 min walk from the beach, 1 min walk to main restaurants), free & safe parking, great pool, staff is ok.
- : decor a bit impersonal, classic rooms that would need an update (like in a lot of hotels in Italy). Mandatory to leave the key at front desk when you leave even for the night. The sound isolation of the rooms is not so optimal, and since we were located in the main building (the one with the reception), there was a lot of noise in the morning. I recommend it for families, not so much for couples.
Also, make sure you try the Alimentari (Alimenti?) shop on your way to the beach (by foot)! The owner is awesome and serves delicious paninis.

Scopello is a beautiful little town full of history. The hotel was in a great location & the team of staff were super helpful. The pool was exceptional with fabulous views of both the mountains and ocean. Easy drop off from bus & walk to National Park. Highly recommend.

Baglio Di Scopello is situated in magical place. It's in the heart of beautiful typical Sicilia village. Stunning views, great atmosphere and outstanding food. Hotel itself is in a perfect location within a walking distance to the village centre and restaurants. It has a nice pool and spacious clean rooms with wifi. Air-conditioning is working superbly well. Staff is very helpful and speaking English.

I liked the proximity to the village. The outdoor pool had lots of sediment and leaves etc. on our first day staying there, a Sunday. It didnt look well maintained nor did the carpark with weeds growing in the parking bays. The breakfast was basic with bad coffee. To top it off the luggage transfer arranged by the hotel did not happen so we had to get the next hotel to bring our luggage 5 hours after we checked in after a long cycle.

Great hotel

Scopello is an amazing location. Hotel is central very comfortable. Pamela at reception is great very welcoming and knowledgable of the area and the surroundings. She even offered us a free parasol for the beach as we were so pale... breakfast is ample . hotel entrance can do with some weeding up and make it nicer. All in all a good hotel, given it is only a 3 star.

No airconditioning: sweat box of heat and humidity

My husband and I booked and stayed at Hotel Baglio di Scopello, May 5-7, 2018. We chose the hotel based on the fact that it had a swimming pool and air-conditioning in all rooms. On our arrival the pool was not in working order and there was no air-conditioning in the room. We got no sleep the night of the 5th due to the room being a sweat box of heat and humidity. On the 6th, I asked at the front desk and was informed that the air-conditioning was not available in our room because the hotel management had not yet switched it on. I was assured that it could be switched on and that we would be able to avail of it the night of the 6th. When we came back from dinner and asked again at the front desk re the air-conditioning being on, we were told that the hotel still had not switched it on yet and that we again would not have air-conditioning in our hotel room for the night. We asked to speak to the manager and were told that he was not present but we would be able to speak to the manager in the morning before we checked out. Of course there was no manager available to speak to in the morning. When we returned from our holiday, I emailed the hotel and they didn't see fit to respond to my email.

A pleasant well-appointed hotel

Apart from the booking process (had confirmed paid bookings for Baglio Zingaro which the hotel inexplicably cancelled which as far as I can make out does not accept Amex or Visa but apparently does accept Mastercard), all was fine. When we got there Baglio di Scopello was apparently closed and we were allocated to the Baglio Zingaro (where I had booked originally and had been cancelled). It was next door. Reasonably priced, excellent breakfast, very helpful reception staff, comfortable room and bed, many TV channels (many muslim/islamic ones) and eventually got BBC news on channel 1313!!!! The location was good and the two Baglios have their own parking area. It is one block away from the village centre, which has virtually all you could want, including a good range of restaurants. There is a well maintained swimming pool. The decor is pretty stylish and refers to Sicilian tiles, ceramics and glazed-ware, and is well thought out.

This is not a hotel, it is a motel.

The charges for this motel are reasonable. However, having booked and paid for 1 week we arrived to discover we had no balcony or terrace with our room (all the pictures have balconies). A week is a long time with no seating area or anywhere to dry one's towels etc. We asked to be moved and were told the hotel was full. Actually I don't think the receptionist could be bothered, she was fairly joyless. There was no soul to the place and the pool closed when there were high winds. A night or two would be fine. The village itself is FAB.

Au plus prés de Scopello et de la Tonnara. Magnifique piscine, dommage qu'elle ferme à 19h. Les chambres sont propres et spacieuses. Salle de bain correcte mais pas d'étagères où poser les trousses de toilette.
Petit déjeuner très copieux avec un grand choix. Dommage aussi car nous avons trouve des croissants vegan, mais pas de lait ni beurre végétal.

Hotellet var utmärkt, lugnt och fint område med trevliga restauranger i närheten. Poolen var jättefin med avslappnad atmosfär och frukosten helt ok! Var lite besviken för hade inte kollat upp innan att närmaste stranden (på promenadavstånd) var jättedyr för en hel familj att besöka, men detta har ingenting med hotellet att göra. Finns flera andra kostnadsfria mycket fina stränder i närheten som enklast besöks genom att ta bilen - dock får man vara medveten om att dessa är helt fullpackade såhär i mitten på augusti. Scopello är mysigt och fint men är väldigt litet, bra om man har bil så man kan göra dagsutflykter annars blir man nog snabbt klar med stället!

Note negative. Stanza N.220 adiacente ad un motore rumorosissimo, che non permetteva il riposo. Andando via, lo abbaiamo fatto presente alla Reception.

L unica cosa positiva è stata la posizione dell hotel, è molto vicino alla tonnara di Scopello, raggiungibile a piedi .
Avevamo richiesto una camera con letto matrimoniale , invece abbiamo soggiornato in camera con letti singoli , non potevano cambiarci
Camera poiché L hotel era pieno, Le lenzuola le abbiamo dovute cambiare noi perché la signora delle pulizie non c era ,
Il bagno era pieno di capelli in terra e non aveva il servizio di bidet .

L’hotel est sur le déclin. Il est mal entretenu, froid sans aucune décoration. Le hall d’entrée sent l’humidité. La piscine, en béton, s’effrite de partout.
Le reste est correcte. Agréable à l’accueil. C’est propre.

Albergo comodo nel cuore dio scopello

L'hotel è grazioso e con camere ampie e comode , in una posizione sicuramente strategica nel cuore del borgo di Scopello ; l'unica nota dolente è stata la piscina che , dopo una notte di scirocco , si presentava piuttosto sporca e trascurata ; speriamo si tratti di un caso isolato , dal momento che , a quanto ci è stato riferito , l'addetto alla manutenzione , aveva avuto un problema , un altro piccolo problema l'abbiamo avuto col telecomando del decoder . Camera spaziosa, pulita e silenziosa con vista sul golfo di Castellamare e sulla riserva dello Zingaro. Nessun problema di posteggio e centralissimo col Baglio a 20 metri.
