This was Italy’s equivalent of motel 6 and had all the expected comfort and amenities of a hotel that is $200/night. Unfortunately, La Tavernetta was fully booked and we had to spend our last night in Scopello at this place. The hotel is dirty and beyond loud. At 3 am, it felt like they were moving it was so loud in the hotel (or maybe a herd of wild horses were in stampede). The night shift manager did not speak a word of English (thank god for google translate). The only positive part of this experience was Liliana, the day shift manager.

Great place to stay if you are visiting Scopello. Just as a warning if you are using Apple or Google Maps, you need to drive further along the main road to avoid entering the ZTL zone to get to the hotel. If you enter the ZTL, you could get a ticket from the camera that captures your license plate. I temporarily parked outside the ZTL to check-in and then asked for directions from the front desk on how to get to the hotel without going through the ZTL.

Hidden gem!
Wonderful hotel in a lovely location - this is a hidden gem! Modern hotel, beautifully decorated, very functional and well thought, spacious rooms, has a big swimming pool and an amphitheatre for shows. It’s 3 min away (walking) from the centre of charming Scopello where there are multiple dining and shopping possibilities. Personnel is friendly and helpful, everything was great!

I think that bearing in mind the relatively basic quality of the furnishings / decorations on this hotel it was overpriced. That being said I am not aware of other Scopello prices, only basing this on prices in nicer hotels elsewhere in Sicily

Hotel booking form gave the hotel's address as Castellmarre del Gulfo,(never mentioning Scopello!) so once we established that it should read Scopello, we finally found the hotel. There were signs leading us to the village for so far but then they ran out or we certainly could not find them! Hotel opened in May 2010, so all clean, fresh and new with helpful staff and our room had wonderful views of the coastline. The local beach was rocky with beautiful blue water and was a steep trek back to the village. Substantial breakfast. Local scenery just spectacular.

Notre séjour s'est bien déroulé, nous avons eu la surprise de bénéficier d'une chambre avec balcon, vue sur la piscine et la mer, ce qui était très plaisant, alors que nous n'avions réservé qu'une chambre classique. Le petit déjeuner est varié et bien fourni. L'équipe est très aimable et disponible. Le parking gratuit exclusif à l'établissement est un plus ! Et il y a des bonbons à l'accueil ... :)

L'hotel offre comodità di parcheggio e vicinanza sia al borgo di Scopello, sia al mare e alla Riserva dello Zingaro.
La camera era spaziosa, ma, trovandosi al piano terra, esposta su un punto di passaggio, senza possibilità di tenere le ante del tutto aperte e quindi poco illuminata.
Il punto più dolente è la scarsa insonorizzazione della camera: si sentivano molti rumori provenienti dalla vicina reception, dal corridoio o dalle camere adiacenti.
La colazione è varia, abbondante e di buona qualità. Carina la piscina, anche se un po' piccola, servendo due strutture non piccole.

Scopello est un très joli village près de la réserve de Zingaro. La vue de l'hôtel donne sur le golfe de Castellamare, vue magnifique. La chambre très propre et spacieuse dans un bel hôtel avec une belle piscine. Calme absolu.

Hotel carino sito in ottima posizione per visitare le belle calette della zona. In 1 h si arriva sia a Palermo che a Trapani. Ottima la pulizia e l'organizzazione della struttura. Un plauso alla gentilezza del personale in particolare del ragazzo della Reception che si chiama Piero.

A good experience, very close to the Borgo of Scopello with nice restaurants in the surroundings. Very close as well to the Reserve dello Zingaro with beautiful naturea nd the wonderful beacch of la Tonnara. The breakfast, rooms and infrastructure are correct for a 3 stars hotel. Not luxury but comfortable. Very friendly staff.
