You're not at the resort base but within close walking distance and the hotel shuttle was great. What made my stay particularly good was one stand out employee, Abraham. The room was clean and big with a great view of the mountain. There is a dedicated room for storing skis and snowboards so you don't have to keep that gear in your room. The free breakfast was excellent! There is a bar in the main room in order to relax after a long day on the slopes. In case you forgot anything or just need a drink/snack, there is a very small market in the hotel where you can pick up basics. There is an indoor pool and multiple hot tubs (inside and outside). All of this is very wonderful in general, but it pales in comparison to the staff. They are nothing short of top notch. Their ability to help with any request is amazing in-of itself, but their kindness is what truly sets them apart from any other hotel on the mountain. Customer service is second to none and I highly recommend staying here in the winter season!

The Lodge at Big Sky is mediocre at best. Beds were uncomfortable. If continental breakfast matters to you, I wouldn’t feed it to my dog. They’ve made poor attempts at updating the place. For the price, I was expecting more.
