Exceptional property! Even with the surrounding beauty, it was tough to leave the hotel. Very attentive staff... quickly learned our names. Pastries in the Wildflower Market are incredible. Room was substantial size, and very well designed/decorated. Several fireplaces/pits to sit an enjoy the cool spring mornings and nights (including one inside our room). Spa visit was wonderful, but outrageously high prices (almost $500 without tip, for a 90 minute massage with no \"extras\"). That was the only downside on the property. Highly recommend staying here!

I truly can’t say enough great things about Montage Big Sky—it absolutely blew me away. We took this trip to get away from our four kids and spend some uninterrupted time together, and it was everything we hoped for and more.

The staff was exceptional, catering to every need with such care and attention. The dining was incredible—we ate at Cortina at least three times because it was that good. The spa experience was pure luxury; we were pampered from start to finish.

One of the most memorable touches was the housekeeping. Every evening we returned from dinner to a perfectly turned-down bed, the humidifier running, our belongings neatly laid out, soft music playing, and the fireplace glowing. It was truly next-level hospitality.

Chef’s kiss doesn’t even begin to cover it. Montage Big Sky was an unforgettable experience, one I’ll cherish forever—and I truly hope we’re lucky enough to return one day.

My family and I spent thanksgiving weekend there and went to ski. We had an awesome time at Montage Big Ski, the hotel was excellent and had many activities for the whole family. Special thanks to chef Ryan who made my wife and daughter a better stay, being worry free with their food allergy. Thankyou Montage

We came during shoulder season and the resort was empty but the staff was still on full service alert - they were attentive, friendly and met every need. The resort is beautiful, clean with great amenities, including the indoor spa and bowling. We will definitely return!

The montage was fantastic. We had to cut our stay slightly short, so we crammed in everything we could into a very short period of time. The room was fantastic. Plenty of space a beautiful patio with a great view a fireplace a very large bathroom that allows for multiple guests And a great bar. The staff was extremely pleasant throughout the entire trip. The views were spectacular and the spa is amazing. We took the time to do a massage and a facial and enjoy the amenities while we were there. Definitely returning for extended time to enjoy more of everything we experience over the weekend

Montage Big Sky was outstanding! The rooms were fully prepared to accommodate their guests with all the amenities, including full snack bar fireplace very comfy bed and a patio to enjoy the bathroom was big enough to allow for multiple guests in the room. I will definitely return.

Wonderful property, however, for a 5 star hotel the small details do matter. A few room service related items were definitely not 5 star level. And the youthful and good natured young guys taking care of luggage and parking while being extremely friendly and using Mr. And Mrs. shows good training, twice I was referred to as “dude” while informally speaking with them. This wouldn’t even happen at a Chik-fil-a!!


The small room detail misses:
1) body lotion was rancid. Not an exaggeration at all.
2) on the 2nd bathroom counter, the body lotion bottle was empty and stayed that way all 3 days.
3) during out 3 night stay, on the check out day, after showering I noticed room service forget to put the robes anywhere back in the room.
4) For a (cold) mountain setting 5-star hotel to not have lap blankets for sitting on the room’s balcony is a big miss.

Nyla the manager was amazing! Resort itself and the surroundings are stunning. Language barrier with many of the staff was challenging at times. Expensive, but the place is unlike any other. I look forward to going back.

Overall, our stay was excellent. Almost all staff greeted us with a smile and asked if they could assist us. The facility is clean and has a lot to offer.

Unfortunately, we had a forgettable experience with a bartender at Alpenglow. We asked for a mojito and the bartender said \"I can get you mint\". She made it clear we were putting her out. The mojito was not good, it lacked crushed lime and mint. We did not return to that bar.

Montage has a beautiful property in Big Sky but very ill managed. None of the front desk or staff were trained for a 5-star hotel (non-professional) and the Wildflower was very short staffed (2 latte and 2 pastries could easily take 30 min to be ready)!

Everything was amazing, all of the staff were excellent and gave amazing service the food and beverages available were excellent! So much to do there didn’t even go outside of the resort. Beautiful views and the rooms were amazing! I don’t have one negative thing to say about this place. Will be back for sure!!
