Exceptional experience out of the norm, We have enjoyed Geo Domes in other parts of the world, this certainly met the expectations of infrastructure which was quite wonderful.
Our host was most gracious as the city was in a power blackout when we arrived, making the evenings plans even more interesting,
I would recommend this experience to anybody looking for a unique getaway in a glamping environment. And that really truly is an understatement of the quality. It’s far more than glamping.
The nearby local fine dining was wonderful.

The dome was wonderful. Everything was laid out in a really intuitive way and the bed was very comfortable. Even with the large window, the dome kept its temperature well during the hot summer days.

A couple light switches did not work and the door would not close completely but generally, it’s a nice facility. It would be better if the river was more visible and if there were umbrellas on the deck to provide shade. In the afternoon, the windows must be covered because the room will become an oven otherwise.

A unique experience with cool decor. Prompt attention to text and super close to town and hot springs. The extra bed up the loft is hard to access up a ladder (two older women) so we shared the king which was a tempurpedic and it worked out fine.

We had to experience glamping. It is good to experience but overrated. We expected to be able to walk out to the river and walk but there was no path from any of the 14 cabins. Also could hardly see the river. Expected a Resturant on the grounds, but no. Could smell sewage inside and outside. Did not like the coffee pot experience. You had to heat water in the pot, pour it over a paper filter with coffee grounds, and wait for it to drain down into a coffee cup. Then only one filter left (2 supplied) to make the second cup. My wife had her coffee dranked before mine was ready. They should provide a 10 or 12 cup coffee maker to allow us time to sit outside by fireplace while listening to the river we could hardly see. Definitely not worth the price when you can stay at a nice hotel with all the perks, tv and breakfast!

What an amazing experience! The domes were well appointed, cool and had lots of options to fine-tune your comfort.

The patio furniture was very comfortable and perfect to enjoy the sounds of the San Juan River, mere steps away. There was a gas powered fire pit that we lit to enjoy the evening and stargazing. I highly recommend the Pagosa River Domes for a neat lodging experience. Our king room had plenty of room to relax and enjoy indoors and out.

Check-in was simple and easy, with instructions and entry codes provided by email/text.

Very nice, unique, cozy place to stay! Lacking on a few finer details in which I messaged the 970# provided about, without a response. Most of the issues had to do with lack of attention to the kitchette area… food left in fridge from previous guests, not enough coffee, dirty cabinets… However, this number was contacted during our stay, and was very helpful when a breaker was tripped. Would definitely stay here again despite the details mentioned above being subpar.

We stayed in the delux family dome. Just to note that the full bed is in the lofted area, and is a tight space that it was hard to fit two teenagers as there is no extra space for their feet to hang off etc. There is plenty of other space in the dome for a blow up or additional folding mattress. The company does not provide them, so bring one along if you think your kids won't fit together in the full bed. Also, double check that you have all the supplies you need before the office hours close, as the property is not staffed. I noticed that we did not have enough coffee for the morning, and they did deliver some, but early in the morning I realized we did not actually have any coffee cups and I did not want to bother anybody to deliver some so early so we drank it out of regular water cups. I do wish they could trim some of the hedge to see the river better, but maybe they can't due to city regulations. A bit noisy being right next to the main busy road also. Otherwise, a fun idea in concept for a night or two, and would recommend to others given these above recommendations. Very clean, nice staff, fun city, and a good value for the price. Thank you!

We had such a wonderful time on our vacation! The view was great, even with the rain, and we took advantage of the fire pit for marshmallows. Everything felt very clean, and the full kitchen was great for making a quick, cheap dinner. My partner kept exclaiming how much she could live here due to how perfect of a set-up it was.

We’re already planning our next trip back and trying to convince a few friends to join us - which shouldn’t be hard with the pics we took.

It was not warm enough! Too cold at night! Wind blew in at the bottom of the tent. We had 3 heaters on and floor was too cold.
Electric turned off and we had to wait a little longer for it to be turned on. Also i was locked out of my room. We had activities lined up and when I returned I couldn't get in. We had to wait till 4 pm to use new code to get in and was only reimbursed $50.

This is such a fun unique place to stay, they did a great job with the inside of each dome and we would definitely stay here again! It was great having a kitchen, beautiful views, and plenty of space inside. The only downsides are it’s very close to the highway so you can hear the cars, there isn’t a tv or good WiFi (but this was also nice to disconnect) and we saw more spiders than we would have liked.

The dome was very clean and had plenty of amenities. The views were fantastic. It does get cold at night because we did turn off the heater, but we were smart enough to bring extra blankets, so it worked out fine. The domes are located just outside of town, but are close enough to still make it a convenient place to stay. It was basically like glamoured camping and was very enjoyable.

Nice staying experience, overall clean, great amenities. I wasn't expecting such complete room. Really nice and the staff on the phone kind and attentive.
The only thing I would suggest needs improving is the lightning and for some reason, maybe it's more me than the hotel, I thought being a dome I would have a nicer view to the night sky but it's not really the case. If there's something they can do to improve, go for it if not maybe some clarification in the description of the dome.

Room was dirty, hairs all over the bathroom, cabinets still had handprints and oils from the previous people before us, rocks under the bed.

I understand they let us check in 30 minutes before 4:00 but when we got to the domes as we retrieve the key from the padlock the key fell through the cracks and we waited about 30 minures for somebody to come help us get the key by that time it was pass 4:00pm , as we were told it happens all the time. Other then that it was good.

This is our first time stayed in the dome, we were surprised the layout inside, the outside fire pit, grill, hammock. The view from the patio and from inside the dome is amazing along with the music of the running river... The small modern kitchen, everything you need to make your own coffee, cookware. Bathroom, shower is good. The location is very convenient to access to everything we need like hot spring, restaurants, grocery etc... Sorry I don't have time to make this short but if you want to have a good experience for any special occasion you should try.

The property overall is a great idea but there are several downfalls. I agree with previous reviews on lots of things.
Cons- We could not see water for the “creek.” There was a large tapped patch job on the clear/view portion. The information booklet on the table had some crusty stuff on 2 different pages.

Bathroom- Our towels and bedding had large stains on them. The water got all over the floor because of no shower curtain and then the shower hooks were on the wall across from the shower. The bathroom towels were on the rack by the front door. There were 2 rolls of toilet paper, out of the packaging, just sitting on an orange rag on the floor. A cabinet of some sort would have really helped since there was no counter space. There was something ran down the wall behind the bathroom door, once you closed it.

Bedroom- There was cobwebs coming from the a/c unit and something has leaked from it and run down the unit and onto wall. The bed was somewhat comfortable but it is so noisy because of the road traffic..all..night..long! I did not sleep well at all.

Kitchen- the dish soap bottle had lots of built up/dried blue soap on it. Don’t turn on the faucet full blast or you will get a second shower. There was some blue substance in the freezer. The little information booklet had dried food?? on 2 of the pages.

Pro- the view from the bed was great. We saw a little family of deer in the sunset and saw hot air balloons in the morning. The outdoor fire pit was nice.

Why we won’t return…

-Asked ro stay in dome near our friends. No reply and were placed 10 domes apart.
-domes are 100 feet from main highway. Noise all day/night long.
-River behind domes was empty. Noisy work being so e each day moving rock in river by large equipment.
-WiFi was poor. Asked for assistance, no reply.
-asked to check in 15 minutes early. Dome was ready and clean but no response to request to enter early.
-Better options available in Pagosa Springs.

This was pretty disappointing first off very very close to the street secondly the door was a little unstable kind of hard to open there is absolutely no service nearby everything is via text and it's all automated there was a literal hole in our window or whatever the Dome is made of that I could stick three fingers through and it was taped up not very well there were boot marks in the bathroom there was no curtain in the shower and there was no body soap in the body soap container it was completely empty
