The stay was good the thing I didn't like was I booked the trip through Expedia then when I got there they said I had to pay like $80 to get my room code. They didn't have front desk either you have to text the person. Always expect to pay more at this property if you book through Expedia.

There is a TON of construction on the road the motel sits on. When we drove in we were a little horrified about how bad the parking lot looked. Some of the people walking through it were a little sketchy too, but once we were inside the room, everything was great. The room was nice, cute, clean, and it was quiet. I will say that we received WAY too many messages via the app, which got ridiculous after a while. I started ignoring them which could've been a bad thing if it was important (kind of like the boy who cried wolf). We never saw or spoke with anyone who worked there outside of it, which I guess was okay. We could've gone in search of a lobby I suppose but given the construction and the state of the parking lot, we didn't want to. Again, the room itself was great.

This hotel is a very useful stop if you’re going to Pagosa Springs. The check-in is remote - and it worked! The room was clean and presentable. The price was good, too. Our suggestions are: the coffee maker was tedious and ineffective (get something like a one-cup Keurig); provide tissues (like Kleenex); But the bottom line: this hotel is a great deal! We’ll be back.

I don't agree with the 9.4 rating on the web site. Maybe I'm spoiled with modern but I did not like this place. The A/C rattled so bad I turned it off, the room had only one electrical outlet for us to use. The room and bath are very small. It looks like a 1960s motel with only minimal upgrades. Check-in is only online (no desk). The TV, WiFi and parking are super.

We stayed in the room. That was the "cabin "and according to the description, it said that it slept six. Unfortunately it did not. The futon in the living room has a bar that goes across it. That is a special kind of torture. There's no way that two people can sleep on that bed unless they are small children. There were crumbs all over it when we got there so we got to clean those off first. The door to the bedroom doesn't shut all the way, and when you open it in the middle of the night, it's squeaks badly. The bathroom was very clean. Check-in was very easy. I highly recommend that they lay on that futon or try to take a nap on it and see for themselves how bad it is. The property felt safe and it is OK for one night day, just not for six.

Simple furnishings and amenities, but we had a very comfortable mattress and slept great! Very quiet motel with rooms a good distance from the main road through Pagosa Springs. We heard no noise whatsoever from traffic or from the other guests.

Manager on site was very friendly and kind and allowed us to leave our car in her lot after checkout while we got some breakfast a block away at the Pagosa Baking Company (highly recommend this spot) and explored the town.

Overall very pleased with our stay and will stay again if in town!

This unique hotel has a lot to offer! Don't be deterred by the road construction going on out front. There is a nice bar and lounge onsite. There's a Mexican restaurant next door, a pizza place close by, several coffee shops, everything is within walking distance. The rooms are nice and the beds comfortable. Jess, the onsite manager was great and very helpful.

Be cautious if checking in late. I arrived af 9pm, My room code didnt work and i texted and called multiple times with no response. I had to go to the bar next door to get help and finally got into my room 1.5 hrs later.

The whole downtown is under serious construction hard to know how to get into the motel, not their fault.

We had plenty of space and we enjoyed the Neon Mallard.
There is no onsite staff to talk to, and the text responses were not excellent. It would be great if they had someone on-site during the day in the bar area that could attend to small things. For example, we ran out of coffee filters on our last morning and I was unable to simply walk to a front desk to ask for more.
We've been to a lot of re-done motor lodges and usually love them, but this one fell short in a few ways.

Rooms are small but clean, beds are surprisingly comfortable, and location is a close walk to the springs.
The worse part about this motel is that it is still just a motel. The sound proofing is non existent, road noise can be heard and other guest conversations can be heard clearly. The motel provides you with earplugs but that’s not a great resolution to the problem. Second issue is they only installed one window with blackout curtains so sleep was limited by the light and noise. Would not recommend.

The staff was EXCELLENT! I texted before I arrived. They were VERY FRIENDLY. the room was clean and WARM. the shower was nice but there wasn't very much hot water... Just enough for 2 quick showers. I'm sure the water getting cool was timing. The bed was comfortable. Parking was tight. I have nothing bad to say about this place.

As mentioned we gave the property average scores. They did this to themselves. The customer service makes top 3 worst. We had questions about their New Year’s party with their partner bar located on site. We called numerous times for info, both Neon and Mallard Bar, no one ever answered, we left messages and neither business could care less. Just know if you have a question, high chance they’re not going to answer you. Good luck with that if your thinking to book!!

Overall, our stay here was good The check in process was easy. We stayed in a queen room which was super tiny. Not a huge deal since we were out and about a lot but I definitely wouldn’t have wanted to be there more than a few days. It’s about a 10-15 minute walk to down. Kips is right next door and a great spot for food.

I think they could make it a little more comfortable by adding some more hooks and things to help keep your room organized. I also think they should add microwaves to the room. Lastly, would have been nice to have either thicker blankets on the beds during the winter or had extra blankets in the room. I’m sure I could have asked for some but… who wants to do that hah. I had one in my car I used. I would stay here again though, good little spot. The Neon Mallard is an absolutely awesome bar definitely check that out even if you don’t stay here.

Great communication with property owner. We had to be evacuated due to flooding and she was very helpful and apologetic. The room is cozy and comfortable. Bed is big. Wood paneling a nice touch. Excellent fresh ground coffee every morning. There is a really fun bar on the premises that can’t be missed. My only complaint is room service appeared to have been hasty. Leftover food in fridge from prior guests and the cups and glasses should have been more thoroughly cleaned and dried. I will come back.

Not for business travelers. I was in unit closest to Hwy 160 (~75 ft) so had traffic noise. Room was nice but nowhere to work. Just a bed and bench. Small tabletop placed on fridge but not workable space. Wifi in this unit was super poor & there’s poor cell service to hotspot. Cute small room for travelers but don’t stay here if you’re looking to work. There are very few places, if any, to work nearby too. Kips Grill next door is fantastic for dining. Are lunch & dinner there.

The air conditioner was extremely noisy, preventing restful sleep. There was a noise machine sitting next to AC, so feel like they are aware of the problem. Also Netflix was promised on the written info but was not available. Internet was so slow it was impossible to watch TV. There is not a real coffee maker in the room. There were only 2 coffee filters in the room to use with this drip system. No Kleenex in room.

Absolutely LOVE the vibe of this hotel. The room was super cute, clean and comfortable. The only downside is that my room seemed to be the only one that didn’t have a door with a key code. My room only had a regular doorknob with a key to open it that they placed under the mat for me. Luckily the area felt safe, otherwise I wouldn’t have felt very secure in my room overnight. Other than that one small thing, I loved everything else about this place
