I sent a email and left a voicemail message confirming late arrival to no avail. We did eventually get in by calling the emergency number.
The room was OK, very noisy because of the Iron Man commentator on a microphone over all of Summerstrand but expect that’s a one-off.
Breakfast was confused and non-communicative. We had to work out the procedure ourselves. Coffee? Table service or self-service? Three attempts to get coffee. Two attempts to get cutlery then a teaspoon instead of a tablespoon. The food itself was very good so why can’t the service match?
