El servicio fue excelente. No obstante, las habitaciones necesitan un upgrade urgente. La primera habitación no tenía acondicionador de aire, solo un abanico de techo que sonaba bastante, además tenía dos camas en lugar de una king. Hicimos un upgrade a una habitación con aire, por el cual tuvimos que pagar. Ambas consolas de aire se dañaron en nuestra estadía, una (la de la sala) en la primera noche y la otra dejó de enfriar. Ninguna habitación cuenta In televisores inteligentes, por lo que nunca pudimos disfrutar una sola noche de Netflix, como acostumbramos antes de dormir. El desayuno variado y bueno, el personal atento y servicial. Incluso dejamos los pasaportes y dinero en la caja fuerte y nos contactaron para recogerlo. Excelente seguridad y compromiso con el huésped.

Great location within walking distance of the landmarks. But what stood out was their front desk staff! Second to none.
My husband had a leg injury and they called 911 for assistance and maintained availability of ice at any time to serve our needs. Would stay there again.

Despite all the hotel's positives (very helpful staff, clean rooms, relatively good breakfast, garage, swimming pool, sauna, spa, bar and restaurant…) the occasional, long-lasting and rather annoying noise of the heating system unfortunately spoiled my overall impression of the hotel.

I liked the location of the hotel. We were two people, the only bed in the room was small. The finishing of the room structure is noticeable. Doors that the light filter, the floor was not even, the lock set in the door bathroom broke, the locksmith didn't take the whole part out for safety and for the use of the bathroom. The didn't offered a room change. We have to stay without lock and being careful not to close the door. Well, I don't want to be complaining for all of these but I didn't expect the condition in the room to be less for what I paid.

The hotel was in a perfect part of town, it was well managed and well maintained, the gym and pool were wonderful, the breakfast was quite good, and the rooms were kept clean and in good shape. The women at the front desk were exceptional and always ready to help and some of the nicest people we met. Overall a wonderful stay.

The property is under renovation so only 1st & 2nd floors are available with limited view. Pictures do not accurately reflect the property condition. Listed as 4 star luxury property and more like an old Holiday Inn. The pool is not as nice as the photo reflects. The staff was wonderful !

The Edelweiss Hotel is conveniently located in Bariloche, walking distance to all the shops and restaurants. The rooms are big and comfortable, breakfast is good and staff is friendly. A special thank you to Eilin who so very efficiently retrieved my forgotten cell phone in the bathroom and sent a chofer to the airport right before boarding!!!

I was gladly surprised because the room has 2 bedrooms since I was traveling with my 22yr old son, so it was very convenient . The hotel is old but well maintained. The location is excellent. The breakfast was bad the eggs cold, the orange juice was not natural. But I will stay again at the property.

We made reservations 4 months ago and they booked a convention during the same time and didnt have a room for us gor two of our 4 days. We spent our first day figuring out ehat hotel would take us. We then wanted to stsy at that hotel hotel for the 4 days but Edelweiss made us come back after two days once the convention left. We ended up spending 1 1/2 days of our 4 dsys desling eith checkin and check out. They gave us a room upgrade but that fid not make up at all gor all of our list time and hassel

El servicio de lobby nada profesional. El peor NH hotel que hemos visitado. No tienen WiFi en las habitaciones (hotel 4*). No pude trabajar con mi laptop en la habitación durante 3 dias. Un desastre. Mienten diciendo que hay una falla técnica. En la factura figuran cosas no consumidas. Pague 20% más. No habia yogurt natural sin azucar en el desayuno. Solo esos yogures liquidos con mas azucar que yogurt.
Prometieron que al dia siguiente estaría solucionado el problema. Mentiras. Nunca fue solucionado en los 3 dias que nos hospedamos ahi. Un hotel viejo, sin aire acondicionado. La estadía en ese hotel nos arruino el humor y los ánimos. Soy cliente asiduo de la cadena NH desde hace 10 años. Tenemos aún reservas pendientes en uno de los NH de Buenos Aires. Reservamos en NH de Bariloche porque consideramos que tendríamos el mismo nivel de los otros NH en los cuales nos hemos hospedado. Ha sido una pésima elección. No recomendable bajo ningún concepto.

The restaurant (La Tavola) was excellent— definitely the best food we had in Bariloche. And when we needed to check out early, before the restaurant’s 7:00 am opening, there was a small complimentary spread of juice, coffee, croissants and apples, which was perfect and delicious.
I would have liked a better situated room (ours was only 1 floor up above a busy bus stop); but on the other hand, we were allowed to check in early.
The parking garage is the tightest I’ve ever seen in my life. It required very careful maneuvering even though we had a small car.

There is no aircondition in the rooms - it is unbelievable. While we were booking the hotel, we never assumed to check if there was an AC since this is an NH hotel. I mean, which hotel does not have an AC. Bariloche could get hot in summer months. We had to leave the windows open at night, and it was almost impossible to sleep with the noise and lack of air flow. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone if you are visiting during the summer months. And also do not let the modernish look of the exterior fool you. The hotel is outdated.

Conveniently located hotel with beautiful views of the lake. The breakfast is extensive and excellent and the travel service desk very helpful. A couple of small issues - you can hear noise between rooms and I would skip the hotel bar and cafe since there are so many better options close by. Parking is an additional fee.

Location of the hotel was good. 5 min walk to downtown where all chocolate shops and restaurants are. The hotel restaurant’s staff were all nice, can’t say the same about reception staff though.
Bed sheets had some stains even after I asked them to change it. Some of the toiletries we open when we came to the room. Generally speaking they don’t pay attention to little details, we had to ask for coffee capsules to be refilled everyday. Also, during check in and check out we had to carry the luggage out selves, no concierge. The security was good though since they lock the outside door after 10 pm and you can only open it with room key. Wifi was TERRIBLE we couldn’t access it from our room we had to sit in the lobby to access internet.
All in all, bad experience, they say it’s a 4 star hotel won’t even give it 2.

The hotel is clean and convenient. There isn't a travel advisor downstairs. Staff are helpful...we did have an incident where we missed breakfast because we didnt get a wake up call but staff arranged for us to have it.

The Property is very well located and icon in the city. Beautiful and comfortable rooms, sauna and pool with an amazing view, but personnel at desk were not service oriented. We had an issue to book an extra night, by mistake we chose a wrong room not sizing for 2adults 2 kids and personnel were not open to help in anyway.

The hotel pool was a real bonus and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was amazing but the only downside was the lack of a decent coffee. Coffee from a flask is not acceptable from a hotel of this standard. Otherwise would have been a better review.

This is not an NH quality hotel. Advertised with air conditioning and only suites have them, undergoing construction and not mentioned, blankets in room had stains and bathrooms had hair. Breakfast was horrible and some of the cheese had mold. What else can we say. Worse Expedia experience ever.

I traveled with my parents and stayed in a triple room. My room was very noisy, with people hitting doors and windows all the time. Moreover I heard sounds of TV turned on in the others rooms. I paid US$ 425 for 3 nights, without breakfast. Very expensive for what this hotel offers.

The hotel is in a good location for Bariloche centre but you won’t get great views of the lake from the hotel. The room itself smelt a bit like a hospital. It was clean and functional and the pool is a good size but nothing outstanding.

The good:
The lobby looks great.
The guy in the lobby tour booking office was great.
The complimentary buffet breakfast was very good.
Good location was very good...right in town and near everything.
The bad:
The room was old and shabby looking.
We had a very noisy ceiling fan which we complained about bud did not get fixed.
The staff, particularly one fellow at the front desk were not terribly friendly (as opposed to other places we stayed on this trip in Chile and Argentina).
Final thoughts:
There are lots of hotels in Bariloche. If we went back we would look for a different one
