The property is beautiful and the room was really nice.the staff were lovely. The kitchen was the perfect size for me, had everything I needed. But my room was very noisy. There was no soundproofing, so i could hear my very noisy neighbors upstairs (they were loud well after quiet hours) and I could hear traffic all night. It was nice to have access to the gym. I was most looking forward to the sauna and it wasn’t very hot.

This is a wonderful place to stay. The rooms are nice. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms and parking spots are securely located behind a coded gate. It is a short Uber ride to good places to eat. There is a grocery store just across the street (and to the left).

Rooms looked nothing like the photos. Actual room wasn’t as maintained. Parking area is terrible. They have small, tight spots, and people’s cars can get damaged easily by other cars trying to park. The bed was uncomfortable and we had an issue with the breakfast. They told us breakfast was at a certain time, they included the time in their welcome text but no mention that it was for an additional cost. We went, ate some mediocre croissants, some of their plain scrambled eggs, and left the coffee. We walked out of the breakfast dining area a bit disappointed but laughed it off as “this is what you get when you get a free breakfast”. A day or two later, they send a message telling me I owe them for breakfast. I kindly explained that no one mentioned it and that I’m sorry and thought it was included. They simply said I should have checked on Expedia and in their fine print that says to “consult for pricing”. Yeah, well it’s a little sneaky trick because that terrible breakfast should not cost $15 per person. I’ve paid less at a decent specialty coffee shop with better food. Honestly, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel unless you really just needed a room to sleep in during your travels. I would have been really unhappy if this would’ve been our actual hotel for the week in the area.

The bed literally was urinated on! While the sheets looked clean, the minute you laid your head down on the bed you could smell urine. When I pulled the sheets back there was a large urine stain on the bed. The floors were so dirty that the minute you took your shoes off your feet were black. The room looked as if it hadn’t been cleaned at all and the shower had slimey stuff all over it. The room was really in need of repair as there were huge chunks taken out of the wood beams, dents and scuff marks all up the wall and the white paint on the walls was horribly dirty.

We only stayed 1 night on June 2022, Staff was very helpful, cabin was cute. Green areas were nice.
It is not the best location if you do not have a car, but staff can help you get a taxi in order to move around. Very affordable

The size of the room was great. Fully stocked kitchen, but no coffee. You can not get coffee unless you purchase the full breakfast. They did give us a free breakfast voucher. The grounds are beautiful. A bit far from downtown. The room did smell of sewer and cigarettes. We had to leave a window open. The heater in the bathroom did not work. The gym is not on the grounds, but 2 blocks away going through an unidentifiable gate. We guessed correctly which gate it was.

Best to stay in main house of hotel, most up to date rooms. If you are in the Best Western section you are getting small, bungalow type rooms. The hotel is really a short walk away, where breakfast is served in the winter.

Nice pace to stay but there were issues

We stayed at the Best Western portion of Villa Sofia. First, the pros- nice, secluded guest houses in a wooded area of a quiet neighborhood. The studios are like wood cabins that are very quaint and comfortable. There is a good kitchenette too. Now the cons, we were told (or maybe it was a miscommunication) that breakfast was included. Upon checkout, we discovered that we had $100 in breakfast charges, but we never would have gone had we thought there was a charge (especially since we had plenty of food from the supermarket and a kitchen in the room). Maybe there was some misunderstanding, but in any other situation, I would have expected the hotel to give the customer the benefit of the doubt, and they refused to waive the charge, which I had to later dispute with my credit card company. The entire experience tainted our stay. Other Cons- There was no shampoo in out hotel room for the first 2 days until we requested it. The hotel is up a very steep hill from town, and we had to take several cabs to get back because it was so tiring. Also, I took a massage at the spa--it was inexpensive, which I thought was great, but the masseuse was terrible and used no pressure even after I asked a few times for more pressure. Also, the massage rooms were like high-walled cubicles, with no ceiling, so you could hear other people at the spa talking and shouting--very unrelaxing!

Good if ski season otherwise a bit out of towb

Nice size room, but room was unbearably hot so much so we couldn't sleep. There was a problem with the heating which we contacted reception about but we got no solution. The room temperature control had broken. It feels like a ski lodge and we stayed in Spring. It is a little out of town so next time I would stay closer but it does have a supermarket across the road if you wish to cook. Staff were pleasant. Reasonably priced.

Comfortable hotel for ski getaway

My girlfriend and I were looking for a hotel to stay in Bariloche for our ski trip to Cerro Catedral. The room was very comfortable and had its own kitchen in which we made a couple of meals. On the first night, the power went out in the area and the hotel staff provided us with a candle. The power resumed five hours later in the evening. It was a little inconvenient that the free continental breakfast and the pool/spa were located further up the steet between other unassociated buildings. Downtown is located at the bottom of a steep hill about 10 minutes away and 15 minutes going up. it can be quite a workout getting up especially when carrying warm clothes for skiing at the mountain. We took a bus to the mountain (which was cheap 10 pesos) and that bus stop was also downtown. The staff was generally friendly and some of the staff was able to speak English since our Spanish wasn't perfect. I might recommend another hotel downtown near the bus stop if you are also planning on taking the bus to the mountain. We wanted a hotel with a pool that was near the downtown area and got what we wanted.

Apartment style hotel with kitchen on busy street.

This is a limited service apartment style hotel. No breakfast included in our rate. The attraction for us was the kitchen. After a month traveling it was a nice change to cook our own meals.
The rooms are large.
However, our room was on a noisy street. We asked to move but they had no others available. At night a huge security spot light came on pointed directly at our front window.
Location is in walking distance from town center but up a steep hill. Lots of restaurants , shops nearby. If you really want to be in Bariloche( nothing special in Bariloche, we would stay outside of town next time on the lake) and you want a kitchen this might be an option but ask for a room off the road.

A perfect getaway!

We stayed in Bariloche out of season. I really thought the charm of this ski resort would be misisng at this time of year but these cabins at Best Western really gave me a sense of what it would be like to be there during the winter. The staff were incredibly charming and the location (while a short uphill walk away) has a perfectly adequate supermarket opposite and a very reasonable launderette. Another highlight was the breakfast, the heated floor and access to the gym. Yes, the gym was very basic, but it was great on our tour of Argentina to get a chance to get some exercise, a quick swim and a nice sauna. Very reasonable but very charming.

Very happy stay. Though the Cabanas is not in the town centre, it is only 10 minutes' walk. However it is on a hill if one doesn't mind the exercise. It is a chalet accomodation but one can use all the facilities of the main hotel. We would recommend the Cabanas Sofia which is cheaper than the main hotel.

O atendimento de toda a equipe foi muito bom. O café da manhã é simples, porém gostoso e bem feito. No entanto, no momento da reserva, tivemos uma impressão equivocada da instalação. Talvez seja necessário especificar melhor que o quarto era um \"duplex\", ou seja, o quarto com a cama fica em um andar superior, enquanto o banheiro e a sala/cozinha ficam no andar abaixo. Ainda, fomos alocados no terceiro andar, e tivemos que subir vários lances de escada. Achamos que seria um hotel mais \"afastado\", mas é numa rua movimentada, e, dependendo do quarto, pode ser bem barulhento. A localização também deve ser levada em conta: fica a 1km do centro de Bariloche, mas com muitas ladeiras. O hotel é bom, mas ao reservar é preciso analisar estes aspectos.

Das Hotel liegt auf einem Hügel, um es zu Fuß zu erreichen, braucht man schon eine gute sportliche Kondition. Uber geht natürlich auch und kostet nicht die Welt. :-) Das Zentrum mit allen Bars und Restaurants ist in 10 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar.

Das Personal ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Als sie Wind davon bekamen, dass wir mit dem Zimmer nicht ganz zufrieden waren, haben sie uns sofort ein anderes angeboten.

Was die Zimmer angeht: es gibt verschiedene Häuser auf dem Gelände. Einige Häuser sind relativ alt, so sind auch die Zimmer. Sie sind sauber und bieten grundsätzlich alles, was man braucht, eine Renovierung wäre aber angebracht. Es gibt aber auch ein ganz neues Haus, in dem sehen die Einheiten von außen deutlich mehrwertiger aus. Von innen habe ich sie jedoch nicht gesehen. Aber auch das ältere Zimmer war für den Preis mehr als OK.

Zum Fitnessraum und Schwimmbad läuft man kurz über die Straße. Der Fitnessraum ist schon ganz OK, nicht nur Alibi wie in den meisten anderen Hotels. Ich konnte dort mein normales Workout machen und habe nichts vermisst. Der Schwimmbad ist brauchbar, aber alt und nicht allzu tief: Crowlen wäre schon schwierig - da würde man den Boden mit Händen berühren.

Das Frühstück ist minimalistisch, absolut nichts besonderes und nichts für hohe Erwartungen.

Insgesamt angesichts des Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnisses eine gute Wahl mit kleinen Abstrichen.

Muy lindo lugar. Ubicado en una zona muy tranquila pero a la vez cerca del centro. Las habitaciones son amplias y muy confortables. Las camas muy buenas. La cocina bien equipada. El estacionamiento es interno pero descubierto. Muy cómodo porque estás muy cerca de las habitaciones. Tiene un hermoso jardín con sillones. La gente es muy amable.

Muy buen hospedaje. La cocina es kichenette eléctrica. Tiene microondas horno eléctrica paba vajilla y heladera. Nos tocó 2do piso por escalera. La limpieza muy bien. La calefacción espectacular. El spa y gimnasio quedan a 3 cuadras. El desayuno tiene costo y se contrata aparte en el hotel. Buena ubicación a 10 cuadras del centro. Luego tiene un supermercado rotisería pizzería panadería todo muy cerca.

Las cabañas están bien equipadas y son agradables,pero la \"vista al parque\" era mínima(2 mts aprox) y del otro lado estaba la calle por lo que no podíamos disfrutarla ya que nos veían desde la calle,y viceversa.
En cuanto a las instalaciones,al momento de elegir este apart lo hicimos por figurar imágenes de una ala de juego de niños/jardín que nos encantó,pero al llegar nos encontramos que eso ya no existía,la \"parte del hotel\" no solo que era en otro lugar(a unos 80 mts) sino que además había cerrado,una total decepción no cuentan con ninguna actividad para niños ahora,tenemos una niña de 2 años en nuestro caso y por eso habíamos elegido este lugar

Bom hotel

Um bom hotel com quartos bem bonitos e confortáveis. A localização é razoável, fica perto do Centro Cívico, mas o caminho não é muito bom (pra descer é fácil, mas pra subir é uma tortura). O staff é meio indiferente e a recepção não funciona após certo horário, sendo que pra resolver qualquer problema tem que ir no outro hotel Villa Sofia na mesma rua. Isso pode parecer bobagem, mas ter q sair na rua à noite com muito frio e chuva é bem desagradável. Principalmente porque os problemas com a chave do quarto foram diários durante a minha estadia. O café da manhã é bom, mas é sempre o mesmo e se você fica no hotel por mais de 3 dias acaba ficando enjoativo.

O Best Western Cabanas são chalés distribuídos numa área arborizada, aprazível e romântica.
Tem bom e farto café da manhã no estilo self service. Excelente aquecimento nos quartos e uma equipe simpática e eficiente.
Fica a 700 m do Centro, necessitando de táxi em dias de chuva ou neve. Principalmente no retorno que sobe o Morro. Mas tem supermercado, pizzaria e lanchonete na frente.

A calefação não funcionava, mudei de hotel

Chegamos por volta das 15:30, e o quarto estava frio, já estive em Bariloche por 9 vezes e nunca presenciei esta situação! Tive que colocar o casaco e meu marido por volta das 17:00 horas começou a se queixar de dor de cabeça, pelo frio que estava no quarto, achei estranho, pois tinha um termostato mas não via nenhum aparelho de aquecimento, desci para falar com o recepcionista que me disse que o aquecimento vinha do chão! Disse que o quarto estava frio e ele mandou uma pessoa para verificar, sai com o meu marido e deixei meus filhos, quando retornei, a falta de aquecimento continuava igual, conversei com um casal que estava no quarto da frente, e entrei no quarto deles e a diferença de temperatura estava gritante, o nosso a suíte 207, não esquentava, desci e fui conversar com o recepcionista novamente e ele me informou que não poderia fazer nada, pois não tinha outro quarto. Então resolvi ir embora do hotel. Não cancelei a estadia, fui até o hotel e ele não atendeu às necessidades básicas ou o que estava no valcher descrito pelo hotel, precisei pagar por 2 diárias em outro hotel! Aguardo retorno.
