We stayed 2 nights on a trip through France and really enjoyed our stay. The room was clean and comfortable and staff were excellent. It’s an easy walk from the rail station as well as into the central areas if Lille. We would definitely stay again.

Perfect location: just two minutes from Vieux-Lille, and in walking distance of the Eurostar, all key areas/attractions and numerous cafes/restaurants. The staff were all very helpful and welcoming. The room could possibly do with a little freshening up in some small areas, however, it was spacious, clean, comfortable, with all amenities and had a very good bed. The courtyard provides a welcome outside seating option. There were also some nice additional touches throughout my stay.

Stayed for 1 night in August 24. Enjoyed it so much went back for 3 nights this time. Lovely comfortable king size bed. Great shower. Fridge has 3 complimentary bottles in it and 2 snacks. We had robes and slippers last year, we didn’t this year. Coffee wasn’t replenished every day do had to ask at reception, I didn’t like the canal plus tv. Couldn’t find any regular English channels. Great location. 10 minute walk to Lille Europe and the same to Flandres station. Went to Bruges for the day via Flandres and the station staff were great helping us buy tickets. Travelled via Eurostar snap ticket.

Great hotel with stylish design and welcoming staff!
I really enjoyed my stay—everything felt thoughtfully designed, and the hotel had a very chic and modern vibe. The staff were friendly and made me feel right at home. My room was spacious, comfortable, and impressively quiet, which I really appreciated. The bed and pillows were especially comfortable!

A couple of things could be improved: the shower door was quite small, which caused water to splash out and soak the bathroom floor—definitely a bit annoying. Also, the large rainfall shower head looked great but didn’t have much water pressure. Lastly, I was surprised to find only one bath towel provided.

Overall, though, a lovely place to stay and I’d definitely consider returning!

Fabulous stay. Wonderful service, fantastic breakfasts too. Brilliant location right on the edge of the old town (where the best L’estimets are) and near shopping district. We stayed in a suite which had a super comfy bed and luxury bathroom. Parking easy next door. Can stress how good the service was.

Amazing property and location. Parking is limited and not ideal for heavy luggage. However the rooms are well designed and very ample in size. The swim pool was a lovely addition and the terrace was perfect for evening cocktails. Great to have a look around the old part. With wonderful service throughout.

Absolutely fantastic location. Lovely hotel, very comfy bed and pillows. The only downfall I have is the maid service was a bit slack, they literally made the bed and emptied the bin. Didn’t clean the cups, restock tea and coffee or just give it a general tidy so that was a little disappointing but otherwise I cannot fault it.

Perfect location, friendly helpful staff, lovely executive room with deep bath. Fridge TV and WiFi worked well. Breakfast was quite limited with a tasty selection of bread and cheeses but the hot food options were not very nice. We would stay there again if travelling to Lille.

Disappointing

We were disappointed with our stay overall and didn't feel this was a four-star hotel.
We received emails in advance welcoming us and we completed the necessary information ahead of arrival and check-in. We also received an email inviting us to book their restaurant for dinner, which we did and were really looking forward to it. On arrival we were informed that the restaurant would be closed all weekend, even though we received an email from the hotel and booked a table through their link.
The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable but there were no slippers and it wasn't very soundproof, so we could hear the street noise.
The breakfast on our first morning was very good with a lot of choice but they ran out of a few food choices on our second morning, even yoghurt, which was surprising and again disappointing.
Most the staff members were friendly and helpful and were doing their best during difficult moments like the food running out, but some didn't seem very well trained or knowledgeable.
The lobby, bar and outdoor courtyard were comfortable areas to relax. The hotel's location was a conveniently short walk to/from the Eurostar station.
Despite a few positives we probably wouldn't stay here again and we wouldn't recommend this hotel to our friends.

The minute you enter the Lobby it smells like room freshener/perfume on steroids. It is a sweet sickening smell. I am not sure how anyone could eat in their restaurant with that smell or what it is masking. No one at check in knew when breakfast was. Very disorganized. Room was small and predominately brown. Everything was brown even the towels. Horrible. The shower when turned on would flood floor. Do not recommend.

Good hotel in great location near old Lille and main railway station. Room was large with great shower. Nice offer to “green me up” which gave two free drink tokens if you didn’t need your room cleaning. Unfortunately there were extensive roadworks outside the hotel during our stay in September 2023 which were noisy together with the school next door. Fortunately it was quiet at night. Staff were very friendly and gave great advice and map on check in. Breakfast was great with large choice of healthy food, but a bit expensive. Overall I would recommend this hotel.

Nice big room with a huge bed. But the bed could do with some maintenance as just sitting on it made a terrible screeching noise. Otherwise it was very comfy.
Nice big shower, but with a weird shower head that hurt a bit with the pressure.
Currently (Aug23) there are extensive roadworks right outside which are noisy starting really early. The soundproofing is pretty good, but it’s still a bit annoying.

Free drink in the bar offered if you skip room cleaning on longer stays is great.

This hotel is about 10 mins easy walk from the Eurostar and is just around the corner from amazing le Vieux-Lille et La grande place with many fantastic restaurants.

The hotel is very comfortable, well located and has a nice vibe. Some great eco initiatives which was really great to see - and something in it for the guest aswell!! The location was ideal, just at the edge of old Lille, and so you could easily pop back to the hotel between outings. Breakfast was really good - but the service at breakfast was a bit disorganised - there was enough staff but it seemed to be doing everything at the same time and the service needed some focus. There is a small courtyard which was perfect for a late afternoon drink in sun or shade. Parking in the Opera carpark just next door (underground) was great.

Despite the road works in Lille centre the car park Opera was easy to locate and handle, less than 100 metres from the hotel entrance with no roads to cross.
Room was nice breakfast lots of choice and tasty. Hotel short walk from main squares on the edge of Old Lille.

L'Arbre Voyageur was perfect for our one night stay in Lille. It's 10 minutes from the Eurostar terminal, it's right by the pretty old town, it's modern and comfortable, and it has 2 fine restaurants and an in house fancy patisserie. The beds were comfortable the showers were good (which is a rare thing in hotels), and the Nespresso machine in the room was very welcome. Luggage lockers were a nice touch too - much more secure and easier than a luggage room with a ticket system. We'll definitely stay there again.

A fantastic hotel, really friendly and helpful staff, modern, clean and well located. Had dinner in restaurant one evening and whilst it was pricey the food and service were exceptional. Everything in mini bar is free and if you choose not to have a daily towel change and clean they give you tokens for drinks in the bar, eco friendly and generous as they don’t limit type of drink you have. Highly recommend this hotel.

This is a superb hotel. The only issue was some external noise from a neighbouring house. The party was so loud the hotel actually called the police… sadly the hotel then mis-handled the situation with me in the morning and didn’t take it as seriously as they should have done. Such a shame, but that problem aside, it was a lovely stay.

I initially drew the short straw and was given a room that must have been located next to an air conditioner or other equipment because there was a constant humming background noise. However, the staff was really helpful when I mentioned the issue and immediately offered me a new room. Aside from this minor incident, my stay was perfect, as it always is with this hotel. Just stay clear of room 40 if you're a light sleeper like myself :)

The hotel is very well situated to visit the old city of Lille. Room are spacious but front desk could use some improvement as well as their bar service. We were waiting to be seated with friends to have a drink and were totally ignoring by the snob waiter at the restaurant. I had to inquire at the front desk how we could be seated for a drink and were told that it was now switching to a restaurant but we could have our drinks in the lobby, which was strange for a hotel of this caliber. Then, the next day, we checked out early to catch a train and the front desk, who did acknowledge was new, ask if I could pay for the night, which, obviously was already paid through Expedia. I told him that I was not paying anything as the taxes were already paid the night before when we checked in. Needless to say that I am less than impressed with this place. You do have choices when it comes to 4 stars in Lille. I'll shop around a bit more next time.

The location of the hotel is great and it doesn’t feel like a chain hotel. It has a boutique styling which makes a very welcome change.

Sadly, do expect because you’re staying in the hotel you’ll be able to use their restaurant- we were turned away and the breakfast buffet made us ill.

Great hotel! close to the train stations and 5 minutes walk from restaurants and grande place.
The decor is certainly one of the best I've seen, very quirky!
Great breakfast, it helps they have their own amazing bakery. The restaurant is also very good.
Service is top notch.
Highly recommended!
Only minus, the toilet seat didn't fit the toilet or was broken somehow, but no big deal.

Great hotel, well located from the center of town. Staff was incredibly sweet and helpful. Hotel is immaculate, room decor is updated, bed very comfortable. My only criticism is something that I have found in many hotels recently. Why, just why, do the architects and designers of these hotels think that an « open » bathroom is a good thing. Why is the shower open to the rest of the room?? I don’t care who you are at the hotel with or what goes on elsewhere in the room. If I wanted to put on a show while showering I would simply leave the door open. Just my two cents. But honestly, this was a lovely hotel and I would recommend. Just be aware of this particular design « quirk ».
