A lovely hotel- intimate, tucked into a quiet corner of the beachfront promenade. A pleasant 15 minute walk to the centre of town, with all of its shops, bars and restaurants. Carnac is a charming beach town, and the Churchill was the perfect spot from which to enjoy a beach holiday. Between the pool, the spa, and the beach, you'll have everything you need. We had a second-floor room with balcony overlooking the pool and the beach, well worth it! Big bathtub to warm up and relax if it rains. Staff were warmly welcoming
Breakfast had something for everyone, from eggs to pastries, yoghurt, cereals and local jams. Worth the €19 if you're not eager to trek into town in the morning. And lots of free parking in front of the hotel, even mid-July! So many good restaurants in town, lots of kids, families, grandparents having a good time, and free from the noise and hassle of loud music and garish commercialism one might expect from a beach resort. A wonderful alternative to the bustle and stifling heat of the Côte d'Azur. We'd love to come back.

Wonderful confortable hotel across the street from beach . Very helpful team who go head over heels to help you. The spa is nice to relax after your travels. Room with balcony has views of the ocean. Very relaxing and clean place. I would recommend and would definitely go back. We were off season and it was very peaceful. Good place to rest. The beach has fine white sand, good for walks.

Enjoyed our six nights. Great recommendations about local places to visit and for restaurants. Friendly and welcoming staff. Enjoyed the pool most days which was quiet and relaxing. Went to the beach opposite the hotel, about a mile long, beautiful fine sand and shallow, clear water. Was quite busy though.
Facilities in the room were second to none. Parked our car on the street outside the hotel for free. Very safe area. Local supermarket about 5 minute walk and many restaurants a short walk or drive from the hotel. Wholly recommend this hotel.

Le Churchill has almost all what you need to have when you are on a vacation trip. Perfect services, clean, all the comfort to feel you immediately at home. This is also due to friendliness and personal contact of the hotel managers and staf. It is located directly at beach of Carnac, hence an ideal place to start your beach hikes or runs.

This is a relaxing and comfortable stay, we stayed five nights and would definitely go back, the staff were exceptional, always on hand without being irritating, as we have found with some high stared hotels, they genuinely want you to have a nice staff. Perfect location on the beach with good parking and a supermarket 2 minutes walk.

Enjoyable stay - lovely staff
Stayed with our friends, on our first night in France. The staff were really pleasant. The hotel was a good twenty minutes walk from the centre (bars, restaurants etc) - but we were lucky with the weather, otherwise it would have been a problem as there wasn't a taxi in sight. The bed was extremely comfortable and the breakfast was very tasty.

Churchill Hotel is a first class gem
Upscale hotel in every aspect- service, room decor and size, amenities, large sea view balconies, swimming pool and spa. Staff spoke excellent English and went above and beyond with helpful tips and suggestions to make the most of our visit and surrounding area. Would highly recommend. Very pleasant breakfast area and bar area as well.

Despite arriving early, our host obliged us by checking on our room and after an extra 5 min we were relaxing in a nice clean well appointed room that over looked the pool and we could see the beach. She also answered all our questions about what to do and proceeded to mark things on the map for us. Thank you! Restaurants are about a 10 min walk from the hotel and there is a supermarket with just about anything you could want an easy 5 min walk. There is also a coffee bar in the reception area which you can also get alcoholic beverages. We used the second day for down time from our busy 2 week vacation and this hotel more than fit the bill.

A quiet, excellent small hotel close to the beach
My wife and enjoyed an excellent stay at this small hotel. The hotel has been very well modernised and was extremely comfortable. The staff were exceptionally helpful and the price, for what was offered, was very reasonable. What made the hotel was its quiet position, just off the beach, yet you could enjoy a level walk along the prom, into town for an excellent selection of shops and restaraunts in about 15 minutes.

Beautiful hotel
We spent one night at Le Churchill to celebrate our wedding anniversary. All the staff were lovely, friendly and full of info. The hotel is at the quieter end of Carnac beach, ten minute stroll from the restaurants and bars, and a further 15 minute walk into old Carnac town centre where we went to the night market of crafts and food right by the church. The hotel has a lovely unmanned spa area of steam room and sauna as well as a small outdoor pool - this was so quiet we felt we had sole use of it which we really liked too. Our room was super modern and very clean with nice blackout curtains.

We had a 5 night reservation to stay here. The room we got was slightly larger then a closet, abot 8 by 10 feet. When we ask if there was anything else available we got a very curt \"NO\". The first day we arrived the room was very hot and so we turned on the air conditioning, it did not work. It took an hour or so but they finally got it working. Then we tried to log in using the Wi-Fi. Again no luck. They said that they would have it fixed shortly. By the next day at noon it still was not working and so we found another hotel in Carnac and decided to move there. Lastly they advertise that they have a sea view. The hotel is located about 500 meters from the water with 2 roads, a small playground, a parking lot and a row of very large trees in between. You can see some blue but I wouldn't call it a sea view.
We moved to the Le Diana, what a breath of fresh air. The receptionist, Geraldine, had a big smile on her face when we arrived and was extremely helpful and pleasant.
Her we were right over the beach with wonderful views. The room we ahd was about 50% larger and you could even get 2 people into the bathroom at the same time, the shower as well.

Spent a lovely week in this charming hotel. Everything was fine and we were very comfortable. As it was hot whilst we were there we were very grateful for the air-conditioning. It was also lovely to have a kettle and tea and coffee making facilities. We also felt that the breakfasts were good but expensive.

Although situated at the end of Plage Boulevard the hotel was relatively convenient for the centre of Carnac with a shore aspect. The hotel itself was well up to 4 star standard, modern and comfortable with swimming pool and other amenities, but only breakfast was served, representing good value for a top holiday resort establishment. The selection was fairly comprehensive and quality excellent.

Get it at a good price
This hotel is worth staying in - but don't pay too much! As with many French hotels the sticker price is a bit steep but if you can get a bargain then grab it and go! Location wise the edge of Carnac is quiet but its within easy driving or cycling distance of La Trinity Sur Mer for shops, cafes and eateries, as well as Carnac Plage itself. The bed was very comfy and the views excellent. The pool was sheltered from the wind and a real sun trap.

Very comfortable and high quality room with a nice pool - shame the weather wasn't better. Quite a walk to the Centre of Carnac but its worth it when you get there. Lots to do and see and great beaches.

Le Churchill - great base for the menhirs
Loved the Churchill, a contemporary hotel set just back from the beach at Carnac and overlooking a petanque court. Super pool, a real afternoon sun trap. Lovely breakfast. The highlight was hiring the hotel bikes and cycling via La Trinite sur Mer up to the Menhirs and Megaliths of Carnac....a beautiful and easy ride. We cycled on out along the coast to have lunch at Le Calypso, and excellent fish restaurant recommended by the hotel.
The Churchill is set a good 10/15 min walk out of Carnac centre, which when we ventured into Carnac we discovered was a very good thing.....the centre is full of neon lit unappealing looking restaurants and people...so we were happy to come back to the lovely Churchill.
All in all, a very enjoyable stay.

Relaxing location
This hotel is in a neighborhood with a short walk to restaurants and shops. The hotel also has 6 bikes for you to use, but we rented from a bike shop as we needed 5 men's bikes. The hotel has 4 women's bikes and 2 men's. Took a nice bike ride to the alignments and the owner of the bike shop mapped out a great ride. It was one of the highlights of our trip. we loved our stay and would stay again there. Our 4 sons ages 19 to 25 liked it as well.

Excellent hotel with very helpful english speaking staff. Breakfast is fantastic., expensive yes, but is served until 12 noon so make it 'brunch'. Only negative comment is when switching on the bathroom light during the night it lights the bedroom due to the glass panel between the two. Maybe a curtain to draw across on the bedroom side would stop this. A 10 minute walk to restaurants or short drive into Trinite-Sur-Mer for a further selection. Would definitely stay here again - a very quiet and peaceful area away from the main town, but if you want night life then stay in the town.

Très bon hôtel situé à deux pas de la plage de Carnac. Très bon confort (les lits sont de t’es bonne qualité), les chambres très bien tenues sont bien conçues et très propres ainsi que les salles de bain. Deux petits bémols : la piscine juste devant les chambres (en été il est probable que cela fasse du bruit) et il n’y pa pas de restaurant mais vous en trouverez de nombreux dans les alentours. Globalement un hôtel de très bon standing où vous aurez plaisir à séjourner. Le personne et la direction sont très attentifs et feront le maximiser pour que votre séjour soit des plus agréable. À choisir sans hésitation.
