Amazing hotels catered to families. So many wonderful thoughtful touches. So many amazing things to do for families. We ended up extending our stay. Definitely one of the best hotels we stayed at . Highly recommend it!

It was our third time in Rovinj and first time in this hotel. We have stayed at the Lone Hotel before and really loved it too. We really liked our stay at Amarin Family Resort as a family. It is in a beautiful location with amazing views of Rovinj. Beach is very clean and we loved our swims there. Recommended to bring your swimming shoes as the pebbles are quite hard.
The hotel staff and the facilities are great. Food was also good with different options that would suit everyone. Only complaint is the price they charge for water in a hot climate is not ok but otherwise would love to come back!

This resort has thought of absolutely everything to make a family vacation enjoyable. Loads of Sun loungers, play equipment everywhere, climbing net, multiple pools, scooters/bikes, gaming room, gymnastics room etc. Plus they organize fun activities and movie nights. The setting on the beach under the trees is perfection. Staff are well trained and very accommodating. Rovinj old town isn’t far and it’s very special. A few more activities geared towards pre-teens and teens that are not gaming related would be good. Aside from that it can’t get much better than this hotel. I highly recommend!

It's a slick operation, clean and very child friendly. Probably not for couples without children but otherwise nicely upmarket with good food and swimming pools. The rooms are very quiet and we had a great sea and sunset view from the balcony.

This place strikes a perfect balance between being family friendly, but in a subtle way. It doesn't feel disney-like/in-your-face entertainment, yet there is always something somewhere for the kids to do. Staff are super friendly and helpful, the pools are lovely and clean and enough space for everyone. Rooms are spacious and well maintained. The dining room was fantastic - nice and modern and clean, very spacious. The food choices never got boring. However, if i'd one niggle, it would have been nice to mix up the dining with an additional option for evening (like, Marsea being available at lunchtime). But that is not a deal breaker. It's hard to fault really and we would definitely return.

Amazing property, located in a green heaven overlooking Rovinj! Kids have a couple of outdoor parks and much space to ride bikes or have other outdoor activities. The sea costs also looks amazing.
Incredible food selection. From mini hamburgers for the little ones to fresh sea products for the all the above. Food will not be an issue. Healthy eating is also available, plenty. Deserts as well :-)

A great place for families

Amazing stay in Amarin.
The kids 3+6 loved it and enjoyed all the facilties.
Outdoor pool was nice, indoor pool was great (especially on a rainy day)
The area is beautiful, one can enjoy walking around, Beautiful sunsets from the balcony.
We took a Taxiboat to Rovinj and had a lovely visit there.
Alltogether a wonderful holiday.

Fantastic hotel for families!

It was clear from the moment we arrived in the lobby that this was going to be the most kid-friendly resort we've ever been to. The staff were friendly and helpful - even the cleaners. The food was of excellent quality with a good amount of variety to choose from, though a bit samey day-to-day. There was lots for kids to do, from the climbing area in the lobby to the play rooms in the kids zone, which have lots of toys and activities. Our kids (5 and 1.5) loved running down the ramps from our room on the 3rd floor every day instead of taking the lift. Our room was large and furnished in a simple, modern style. Going across the whole of one wall was a large board with regular spaced holes in it that the kids can re-arrange the foam cylinders to make pictures - they spent a good few hours in total just playing with that!
It's small touches like these that made our time at the resort a happy one.

The beach is very close, but is stones rather than sand (as usual for Croatia). The grounds have many play areas for kids of all ages. There's 2 indoor pools and 3 outside.

There are excursions available - we spent a couple of hours in Rovinj to see the Cathedral and old town plus a successful Dolphin trip.

A wonderful relaxing break.

We had a lovely relaxing break at the hotel. Room view over Rovinj was beautiful. Excellent facilities. Best of all was the beach with beautiful clear water and the food was faultless. Excellent quality and variety especially fish and salads. Perfect choices also for children. Staff were professional and friendly.

Great hotel for families

this hotel had everything to keep kids entertained including little toddlers. it also has a nice spa for adults. The kids club is free and not restricted to time slots. The hotel architecture and external grounds are lovely and designed for families. The pools are great and beach few minutes walk. I'll go there again soon

Fresh new resort

Sleek yet playfully designed, it's the perfect resort. It's geared towards families but in low season when it's not fully booked it wasn't yet over run with kids. We booked a seaview balcony room and it was exactly as pictured and even bigger than we expected. This is a full board resort, we had dinner the first night and breakfast the next morning, and dispite being buffet style, everything we had was fresh and really good. The wellness area with pool, hot tubs and sauna area couldn't be better. I loved it. Wish we could've stayed longer.

My family had an extraordinary spring holiday. With plenty of sports activities that are organized in hotel facilities, gym, bicycle rides, tenis, beach volley ball, swimming.....

Great family hotel, recommended!

Hotel is just great for family vacation! Staff is just excelent, amenities as well. Food choiches - you just have to wish for something, e.g. we asked for certain meal for our kid for dinner and we got it in just 5 minutes although it is usually served for breakfast. Starters, main courses from both surf and turf world and all kinds of desserts (cakes, cookies, ice cream, fruits...), all super tasty!

We were hotel guests 2 times in just few weeks appart, that sayes it all :)

Daycare for kids of all ages, programs for kids, hotel sourroundings, indoor and outdoor pools - you have it all!

Only issue we had this time was air conditioning. We couldn't get temperature to normal levels, e.g. 21 to 23 degrees Celsius. We reported the issue 3 times to reception, got visit from facilities support but nothing really helped. This is reason for grade on Room Comfort part. In our last visit we didn't have such issues.

We will be going back for sure but excpecting more on the room comfort part.

Our week stay in Family Hotel Amarin has been a delight and a very relaxing experience for us as a family with 3 young children. We loved the overall atmosphere of the hotel, which clearly shows a lot of good thinking has gone into the design. The kids were thrilled and had an excellent time: they were able to roam through the hotel and the hotel grounds easily and safely by themselves. Food from the buffet was impressive and very tasteful. In summary the facilities on site were perfect for us.

Fantastic value family hotel with every imaginable facility for children and surprisingly good food considering it's a full board buffet. The design is contemporary with several swimming pools and play areas and it feels much more luxurious than the photos suggest. The idea is that once the children are occupied the adults can relax and free inclusive childcare is available from morning until night time. The old town of Rovinj is nearby and the hotel offer a free shuttle there and back if you want to explore. A good mix of nationalities were staying there and the atmosphere was polite and relaxed.

There is a lot to like there. The hotel is just a year old and in great condition. A lot of thought went into the design and layout. The kids areas, pools etc are fantastic. No shortage of places to eat or drink. It's a kids paradise - but there is not much for parents except sitting by the pool watching the kids. (You can 'lock then' into kids club and get a taxi into Rovinj town, of course.)

Management need to take some lessons from genuine high-end hotels though. Food quality is very high but it is like eating in a student canteen with tables in rows or with only tiny gaps between them. More than enough sun loungers but no staff oversight to stop people claiming them and never using them. Despite ludicrous high-season cost (£450 per night) you are treated like a child by having to hand over a token to get a towel with a threat of punishment if the token is not returned. Housekeeping is a joke - your duvet is straightened and bin emptied but nothing else is touched, clothes are not folded, shoes are not tidied away.

With 275 rooms it is really too big for a proper luxury experience (for parents) although my kids declared it the best of the three luxury hotels we stayed at during our holiday.

Good new hotel with great facilities. Spa and pool areas are great. Big down side was air conditioning in room was very underpowered and really did not cool room. Would not like to have been there during a really hot period. Buffet breakfast dinner and breakfast adequate but not spectacular.

Fantastisk hotell med flinke og vennlige ansatte. Alt designet med tanke på barnevennlighet. Minimalt med trapper og lett ankomst med barnevogn overalt. Blide og hyggelige ansatte gjorde at man aldri trengte å være redd for at barna skulle være til bry. Nødvendig med badesko på stranda da det er stein og ikke sand, men til gjengjeld meget renslig og man slipper sand overalt. Beliggenheten er helt perfekt dersom man ankommer med bil.

Das Hotel ist rundherum perfekt für einen ruhigen Familienurlaub. Supertolles Essen, da ist an alles gedacht. Angenehm fanden wir, dass hier keine Dauerbeschallung durch die Animation stattfindet. Toll fanden wir das Wassertaxi, mit dem wir des öfteren nach Rovinj gefahren sind. Unsere Kinder waren begeistert von dem Game-Room.
In diesem Hotel stimmt alles. Getränke extra fanden wir etwas zu hochpreisig.

Tolle Hotelanlage, die Bucht ist sehr familienfreundlich, Schnorcheln im kleinen Rahmen möglich.
Essen sehr gut, jedoch werden Getränke zu dem Essen zusätzlich berechnet, bis eine Auswahl an Wasser, Apfelsaft sowie Limonaden. Auch die sportlichen Aktivitäten (Trettboot, SUP etc) müssen Hotelgäste zusätzlich zahlen. Liegen am Strand sind aber inkludiert!

Sehr schöne Anlage - Corona-Maßnahmen sehr gut umgesetzt - wunderschönes Zimmer mit herrlichem Blick auf die Bucht und Rovinj
Wegen der schwachen Belegung (Corona) viel Platz und jede Menge Liegen an Strand und Pool.
Essen sehr gut.
