THIS was the best place ever to stay because first they had free candy and the tv you can watch YouTube and other stuff unlike the other tv where u can watch only the tv that live and it right next to the Dave museum and duomo the first stuff was for kid under 13 but after that it was the stuff u like to see so it good for everyone

2 things :

1. No elevator. We were on the 4th floor which is actually 5th coz they start with level 0.
2. The entry way is covered with an ATM machine which is hard to get in.
Otherwise the price you pay is proportion to the room you get. We’re thankful though we were given a separate beds for 2 person.

We enjoyed our stay here. Everything was great. Just be aware that there is no elevator. But the staff were eager to help carry luggage for us. If you have mobility issues then be aware you must use the stairs.

Great Location

Centrally located in Florence 3 minutes from the Duomo Cathedral , the staff was warm and friendly including the owner, rooms are basic with no frills and thats was okay as I stayed just one night. There is no lift so avoid large or heavy bags.

I chose Hotel Romagna for low price and my short stay. There is a problem with the toilet. Flushing requires a long pumping of the button to create a flush. It is conveniently located near main train station. There is a good cafe for early morning coffee and pastry. The bathroom is extremely small. The staff was polite. There is no elevator and I was placed on the top (4Th) floor which was tiring. Thank you.

Stellar location

Excellent location for exploring the main attractions of Florence. The room was basic and clean and comfortable enough for 3 nights. We were on the top floor, which was a workout going up as there is no elevator, however it was worth it as we got a cool view of some of the close by rooftops and architecture.

Stayed 3 nights. No hot water the whole time, only warm-cold and the pressure was terrible. The WiFi didn’t reach to our floor. Complained every night and got silly and lazy responses. The room was clean and the location was good but wish we spent a few more dollars and got something more reliable. I’ve been traveling for 6 months straight and this was truley the worst hotel I’ve stayed in by far and I don’t ask for a lot.

Consideration to senior citizens should have been given in reserving rooms. We knew beforehand that there is no lift but we should have NOT been reserved to the top floor (5th Floor) room. Unfortunately, we have to rest every floor before we can proceed upstairs.

Small but comfortable room, with a tiny but private bathroom. The walls are a bit thin. It would have been nice to have had a hot water heater available for coffee/tea beyond the breakfast hours, but the continental breakfast was quite good (pastries & breads, fruit cocktail, yogurts, cereal, espresso machine).

I cant remember his name but the night clerk who sorted me out and got me in my room was amazing. Kind, friendly and funny and helped me carry my luggage up 5 flights of stairs.

The movie posters cheer up the hallways and the breakfast held me until lunch.

I highly recommend this hotel as a budget stay and i highly recommend Florence.

Great location in Florence.

Rates were good and the location is very convenient, in the center of Florence. This is a very old building, obviously, so go with the flow. We did and had a great stay.

If you do have time in Florence be sure to take the city bus near the Ponte Vecchio up to Piazza Michaelangelo, and then take your time walking back down through the gardens.

Close to the duomo, within walking distance to the train station. Small room, was cleaned everyday (but dislike the smell of the cleaning solution they use). NO LIFT, and we we're given a room up the 4th floor( which means 5 floors up) but Elton, the front desk staff helped us with our luggage.

Breakfast not served until 0800 which was inconveniently late. Serving breakfast at 0700 would be a major plus as would providing in-room security safe.

Excellent location - right in the center of the city, next to Florence Cathedral, Church Santa Maria Nouvelle and other famous sites. It is also very close the train station. The hotel itself is basic yet clean and comfortable, and staffs are really friendly and very helpful. Besides, there are also some really nice restaurants nearby.

The hotel was the worse hotel I have ever stayed. Awful. No elevators. you have to carry your luggage to the 3rd or 4th floor. No hot water in the bathroom finally they moved us to a new room. Water hardly lukewarm. Sink in the hallway, and toilet and a shower head in the bathroom. Toilet does not flush. No shower enclosures. Looks like an outdoor shower.When taking a shower the whole bath floor gets flooded with water and are afraid of falling to use the toilet.No shampoo or soaps provided. No towel hangers.Tiny safe.No English Channels on TV. Had only 5 channels and 2 were repeats. only Italian. They have advertised that they have Satellite. When questioned they said they don't have it any more because they had problems with the satellite company.It was a dump. I will never recommend this hotel to anyone.

the hotel is in a perfect location to see the main sights in florence. the only downside was the hotel itself. there are no lifts and there and we stayed on the 4th floor, with no one offering to help with our luggage when we checked in. the rooms are very old and the bathroom and showers wet room was not pleasant to use. the hotel staff very helpful, however, i believe there must be better hotels in the same area for similar price

Fantastic location!!!

The hotel is situated in the heart of Florence! It's a 5 minute walk from the train station and less than a minute walk to beautiful Duomo. The front desk is super friendly and helpful, the breakfast is great and there's free wifi. The rooms are on a smaller side, but very clean and cozy.. You're not going to Florence to spend most of your time in the hotel room anyway :) I would definitely stay there again.

Great hotel in the heart of Pisa

I was an American traveling alone and booked a single room with non-shared bathroom. Hotels in Europe are in older buildings and therefore have much more character than American hotels but lack some of the luxuries, most commonly space. But compared to the hotel I stayed at in Firenze (Florence) this room was very spacious and the bed was quite comfortable. I also found the staff spoke English well and were very kind in helping me, including getting some tips on the local restaurants. Wifi and breakfast were included, though I didn't have a chance to use either. On the pricey side (compared to hostels, at least) but I would 100% stay here again or recommend them to friends.

Had a sinking feeling in the middle of the bed and have difficulty turning around. The floor tiles also looked old and dirty. As it is beside the main road, it can be pretty noisy though there is a dual windows system in place. Importantly, there is no lift. Really a hassle to carry the luggage up the stairs especially if you are staying on the higher floors.

For it's location the hotel is greatly situated, however this is a hotel that I will never book into again nor one that I would recommend. Whilst the staff were friendly and helpful the general condition of the room was far removed from the pictures advertised, the economic room booked was more like a cell with a toilet come wet room and basin located in the main room, whilst the queen bed offered was nothing more than a standard double bed. Based on the quality of the bed, this was the worst night sleep I have ever had as not only was it hard as nails and suffering a major dip in the middle, but I have now found several bites all over. Having thought this room could not get any worse it was pleasing waking up at 3am to find the ceiling dripping with water from the room above, the only positive thing about this experience was the staff in quickly offering another room.

Pleasant and comfortable in a great location

My daughter and I stayed here for six nights while she was getting settled in an apartment, for a long term stay. The location was perfect, close to the train station and the Duomo. The staff were friendly and helpful, and they all spoke English. I liked the movie poster theme of the hotel, the breakfast room was sweet and the breakfast very complete with yogurt, juice, breads and hot drink of your choice. I felt very secure with the safe in the room. There was no elevator, but the staff were cheerful about carrying the bags up the stairs for you. The only downside was that the room was very small, with very little space to maneuver around the double bed, and the bathroom was tiny with the shower in the middle of the space. But everything worked fine: plenty of hot water, and since it was winter, the room was always toasty warm. A good option for a good price!!

In an expensive city like Florence it was nice to be able to afford a nice hotel without breaking the budget. Great location and great complimentary buffet breakfast. I would definitely recommend it.
One down side is not elevator and we were on the 4th floor, a pain to move suitcases. However the reception staff did offer to help with bags.

Only a short walk from the train station. Very basic room, but it was clean. Wifi worked well. For the price, it was very good value considering the location. No lift, only a staircase. Hotel staff were nice and helped carry one of our big bags up the stairs. Breakfast wasn't too bad either considering it was included for free. Room was a little bit small. It is located a little bit far from the main attractions. There are buses that can take you to the historical area. Continental breakfast was excellent, in quantity, quality and variety. Wi-Fi was poor from the room. They do not have laundry facility as listed, they have laundry service.

This hotel is in an excellent location, on a main street between the train station and the center of town. The hotel staff was extremely friendly. When I asked for a wake up call early for the next morning, they offered to fix my breakfast early since the breakfast area did not open until 8am. I spoke with several staff members at the front desk, and they were all so helpful. One offered to help me with my internet connection. The included breakfast was good and was located in a sunny room. The hotel is approximately a 5 minute walk from the train station and less than 5 minutes to the duomo (the big church in all the Florence pictures). The hotel is located on a major street but the room was quiet.

Arriving a day later than planned, it was nice to check into hotel early, room and staff was friendly and nice. Great location to train and main Florence sites. Hotel breakfast is nice and convenient. The rooms are tight fit because of double bed, bathroom small until you learn how to twist and turn your body around the toilet and shower facilities. I felt like I was in the space shuttle lol.

(There is no elevator, unfortunately) The location is excellent though. Very close to the train station and all the main sights in Florence. My room was also next to road, so it might be a little noisy for light sleepers.

Todo fue genial, la ubicación esta excelente ya que esta suuuper cerca de la estación central, ademas a menos de 2 cuadras del domo y con varias opciones al rededor tanto de alimentos como tiendas y galerias o cultura. Los hostes son super amables e incluso te dan recomendaciones de lugares para conocer y comer. Lo recomiendo michisismo. El unico punto en contra, es que no tienen elevador y a nosotros que nos toco en piso 5 si estaba retador llegar y subir todas las escaleras despues de un dia de caminar tanto. La ubicación es muy buena, la habitación no es la más cómoda posible, el costo de impuesto por ley fue mucho más alto que otros hospedajes por la zona , eso no me pareció.

Hôtel idéalement placé. Effectivement les chambres/salle de bain mériteraient un petit coup de neuf cependant le rapport qualité prix est exceptionnel, il n’y a rien à dire. Lit confontable, personnel agréable, climatisation dans les chambres. Nous sommes restés 3 jours et avons pu faire toutes nos activités en pieds.
