It’s a pretty decent hotel, but there are some things that could be improved for example; having safes in the rooms as well as WiFi available in the room. WiFi only works at the lobby and common areas and we have to ask front desk for a password that expires. There’s no elevator so we have to carry our luggages upstairs, in my case on the third floor and I was already super tired so having someone there to help with the luggages for tips would be nice.
The rooms are not fancy but quite comfortable.
The hotel is well located at the downtown of the city with easy transportation right at the door.
I had a good stay overall, I stayed here two nights.

The Hotel has a pool. Wifi only available on the first floor. There is a restaurant where you can purchase dinner and there is a breakfast which seemed basic so we went out instead. There is a tour service connected which we did not use. Tv with cable in the room and ac.

THE GOOD:
Amazing service by all staff!
Friendly service, welcoming, respectful and attentive.
Very pleased with all the amenities, support, flexibility and options the hotel, and its staff provided me while I stayed here.
The ROOMS are clean and well kept, very spacious and the best part of it is the air conditioning that works!
POOL area is clean, surrounding communal areas are well kept and the pool gets cleaned up and maintained every night rigorously — have seen them in action!
Transportation out of the hotel is great due to its location and the abundant moto-cars around it and in close proximity of the hotel.
Restaurants are also in very close distance and plenty to choose from. My favorite has been nothing but Peruvian food, where the hotel also serves as part of their menu options, as well as the famous “Lomo Saltado”

THE BAD:
The only bad thing about this place is their WIFI, it is horrible and the connection keeps getting disconnected every 10 minutes — using this code does not help because it only works for a few minutes and then you are out of luck!
WiFi is not reliable if you are depending on it to work on personal business or even trying to book other online services.
The hotel may need to work on providing a much better breakfast options since the hotel charges a hefty amount per night stays on average of $60

El staff es muy atento, el servicio desde el check in fue muy maravilloso, la comida es demasiado buena, la chef es excelente, los tours son un poco caros pero son muy buenos, el servicio de taxi translado del aeropuerto al Hotel lo pague en 50.000 pesos y cuando lo coticé con los mismos taxis afuera de hotel me cobraban 15.000 al aeropuerto; la piscina es deliciosa.

I like the people, cleaners, kitchen staff, receptionist.

However, administration is horrible, nasty and abusers. they charged us 3 times over the taxi service from airport, when trying to speak with the manager she avoid us all the time and never face us. Taxi charged 15, 000 colombia pesos and they charged me 84,000, a lot of money. ABUSERS.

arrived around 2pm - main entrance very unwelcoming and tacky (if I hadn’t had a reservation I wouldn’t have stayed! it was so unwelcoming), quick friendly check in but I always ask for top floor away from lift - and there isn’t one so I had to traipse up eight flights of stairs. large room, spotlessly clean, hot on arrival but exceptionally efficient A/C lowered temperature very quickly. safe & Fridge worked well. gr8 recently modernised pool, bar and restaurant super. 5 minutes walk to Puerto Fluvial for boats to everywhere and to local bars - thoroughly recommended despite entrance

Very convenient location and reasonably priced. The owner has a travel agency within the hotel, Wifi works only in the main floor which is very inconvenient. The american breakfast does not include juice, cereal or waffles, it comes with coffee, eggs fruit and bread. They offer luggage storage before check in time and after check out time , that is very helpful

The man in charge of the tours was very knowledgeable and made sure we got the best tour guide. It was our first time in Leticia and we would stay at the Anaconda hotel if we were to visit again.

The hotel is located close to many things in Leticia. We booked a number of excursions with the tour company attached to the hotel and had a good experience. The rooms are a little outdated but are large. They had a mini fridge and the AC worked great. The room was clean and housekeeping did a great job. The pool area is wonderful! The pool is large. There are plenty of tables for eating and hanging out, as well as lounge chairs for sun bathing. The included breakfast was a plus (plenty of food). We ate lunch and dinner at the restaurant; food was tasty. While the hotel was not fancy or exceptional, we had a pleasant stay. Staff was respectful and responsive.

The property is well located in the center of the town within a block of everything. The property had a nice sized pool, excellent food at it's restaurant. Breakfast options were okay, but better than most other options in Leticia. When compared to other Leticia hotels this is in the upper tier of hotels, but compared to a world equivalent this is a 1, 2 star at most. Considering the town and location, this is a must stay if you're looking for ultimate comfort and location.

Also hotel WiFi is only available in the lobby area, no wifi in the rooms.

Good stop before and after the Amazon trip

Great location: 2 minutes from the malecon where we took off by boat. 2 blocks from the Santander square where one can watch millions of birds coming back every night from the Amazon. Surrounded by stores and restaurants. Taxis parks in front of the hotel which make it very convenient. 10 min from airport. People were friendly and helpful. Absolute necessity to speak Spanish.
Breakfast was good and the hotel has a restaurant.
Hotel has also a pool which can be nice after several days in the hot and humid jungle.
Make sure you ask to have the water heater activated to get hot shower.

Great place to stopover if like us you want to go to Puerto Narino. Two if us stayed for one night. Very welcoming and helpful staff. Hotel a little jaded like most of Leticia but very comfortable and situated close to everything you need to arrange trips up river or guided tours. Well worth trying.

Average and overpriced hotel

The hotel was distinctly average and in comparison to what we paid elsewhere overpriced (but perhaps Leticia is generally more expensive?).

The two good things about the hotel was the air conditioning and the swimming pool, both of which I was grateful for because it was boiling.

The room was a reasonable size and in okay condition, if a bit bland. The bed was comfortable. It was clean but there were some dead flies on the floor. To be fair, it is in the jungle and possibly the flies came and died after the room had been cleaned!

The shower had no hot water but we didn't need it as it was so warm out.

The staff weren't especially friendly or welcoming, but were okay. They didn't speak English but we managed the check in and out fine.

Breakfast was unexciting but edible.

Location was good in that it was central and we could walk from where the boat dropped us. But that did mean there was an issue with noise. On the night we stayed there was a festival in the square outside with live music so it was incredibly loud in the room. It was also noisy in the morning from people and cars outside. Not sure how noisy it is normally at night in the square without a music festival. If noise bothers you ask for a room on the other side as it may be quieter, or perhaps stay somewhere else.

The Anaconda is located on a major street, so noise was a problem. The rooms need updating, especially the old-fashioned window-type air conditioner that blows directly on you in bed. The bathroom was newly remodeled, which was great. The breakfast was OK, but dinner was not very good. The pool area is very nice and a great way to cool down and relax.

Great location if arriving by boat from Iquitos as its a short walk up from the jetty where you land. Just round the corner from main bar and restaurant area. Nice big swimming pool and three resident parakeets. Staff very friendly and helpful but sometimes things don't get done.

Hotel Anaconda is a nice place with a great pool and air/conditioning. Perfect place to wind down after an Amazon adventure. No hot water and the wi-fi did not work until 5 p.m. and then it was really, really slow, but it is that way all over Leticia. Do not expect good internet connection anywhere in Leticia.

The staff in the restaurant try to steal you with the bill, I had a burger and a cola that was 41000 cop and's then the waiter came with the bill is was 48000 cop. Then I ask for the menu to check the price he changed the price down to 41000 cop, while he got the menu to me.

The WiFi is only in the lobby and restaurant not on the room, and you need to login every 5 minutes. And it’s very slow. Rooms are ok

Péssima experiência. Quarto extremamente barulhento, a praça principal da cidade fica logo em frente à sacada e havia muito barulho ao longo do dia. Não há Wi-Fi no quarto, apenas na região da piscina e recepção. Havia baratas na minha cama. Quando cheguei no quarto, não havia água quente no chuveiro. Escolhi esse hotel por ser um dos melhores da cidade, imagine os piores. O atendimento também deixa a desejar, não são nada solícitos. Não voltarei jamais!

The hotel in it self is good. Just remember that you don’t pay extra for dinner when booking through hotels.com because you will still have to pay for dinner at the hotel. When checking out I tried to explain to the lady in the reception that I had paid extra for dinner but she refused. She even showed me the reciept that clearly said half board. I tried to explain to her that this means breakfast and dinner but she refused and said no. I tried to translate half board to spanish but she still said no and said room only. So I ended up paying for the dinner twice which was annoying.

El hotel está muy bien ubicado y limpio. Sin embargo, el wifi es de mala calidad. No hay señal de internet en las habitaciones. La señal de los celulares de Movistar es deficiente en el hotel y en la ciudad en general. Las habitaciones no tienen cortina black-out, por lo que el sol entra a la habitación un poco antes de las 6 de la mañana. No hay agua caliente en la ducha de las habitaciones. El personal del hotel es muy amable. La comida del restaurante no es tan variada, pero de muy buena sazón. el desayuno es aceptablemente bueno. En el hotel hay una agencia de turismo que es de mucha ayuda para organizar las actividades en Leticia.

No es el hotel más lujoso (pero el mejor teniendo en cuenta que no hay hoteles 5 estrellas en Leticia), pero es cómodo, buen desayuno y excelente ubicación. Parecido puede ser hotel Waira que queda a dos cuadras de este hotel, solo lo vi por fuera y tiene también buena ubicación.
