Spent the entire night flooded with second hand pot smoke and listening to belligerent behaviour in the corridor outside my room. Whomever thinks of staying here should really look elsewhere for a hotel room. Floor had previous renters dirt left on it as did the countertop. If you are stuck without a hotel room in Sept iles I’d suggest sleeping in your car if the temperature permits rather than rent a room here!

Les photos sur Expidia montraient une chambre rénovée, mais aucune photo de la salle de bain. Lorsque nous sommes arrivés à la chambre, nous avons decouvert une salle de bain non rénovée des annees 1970. De plus, la porte était defoncée par trois fissures et un panneau du côté de la vanité etait presque tombé. La récepteur nous a expliqué que seukes les chambres du rc etaient rénovées au complet. Nous avons l'impression de s'etre fait avoir sur Expedia en omettant de mettre cette information. De plus l'hôtel est aussi dispendieux que celui à coté : Chateau Arnaud, qui lui, est beaucoup plus récent. On c'est fait avoir. Nous ne sommes pas rester. Nous avons pris une chambre au Chateau Arnaud finalement. Malheureusement, notre chambre de l'Hotel Sept-Iles etait non remboursable. Nous avons perdu 200$ et nous ne retournerons jamais à cet hotel.

J'étais au premier plancher avec vu sur le fleuve. Très tranquille lors de mon séjour. Pourquoi je n'ai pas mis 5 étoiles : matelas trop mou, pas de micro-onde 😔, mais il y a un frigo👍😂 et pas de poubelle ppur y mettre le recyclage. Je suis arrivée à la noirceur, donc, je suis entrée par l'extérieur puisque je devais me stationner. En ouvrant la porte, je suis entrée dans des rideaux qui était fermés et je ne trouvais pas de lumière pour en sortir. Très drôle😂
Les chambres ne sont pas tellement insonorisées : nous entendons le bruits des douches et des chasses d'eau (mais pas trop dérangeant, car comme mentionné plus haut, c'était tranquille). Aussi, quand le cadran d'une autre chambre sonne, on l'entend très très bien (pas eu à mettre le mien 😂)

Please note there was a leak through the windows, it rained last night and there were huge puddles on the floor when I woke at midnight. I had to continuously wake up and keep wiping the floors and wringing out the towels. There whole room was full of dampness and moisture. I now have a flu and caught a chill. What a terrible experience

Comme cet hôtel n'a pas de climatisation, nous voulions ouvrir la fenêtre pour avoir de l'air frais, mais le loquet était brisé et nous empêchait d'ouvrir. Nous avons demandé à changer de chambre. Il restait une seule chambre de disponible et il y avait le même problème. Nous avons donc demandé à être remboursé. Le gérant de l' hôtel a accepté et nous a dit que le remboursement serait effectué dans les jours suivants par Expédia. Cependant, Expédia ne nous a pas rembouré le total de la facture. Il nous a remboursé seulement 80% de la facture. Je suis vraiment décue. Pas certaine que j'utiliserai Expédia dans le futur....

Le principal bémol est un salon de vidéo poker à même le lobby de l'hôtel qui attire une clientèle de fumeurs aux différentes portes d'accès. L'insonorisation est perfectible.et notre chambre (118) était située de telle sorte que la clientèle devait passer devant notre porte. Ces inconvénients étaient en partie compensés par une deuxième porte donnant sur notre espace de stationnement extérieur et face à la mer.

Was sent to a room that was not cleaned. There were beer cans and the beds were not made. Was difficult to find another suitable room ( two beds were needed). Once other room found, the hallway reeked of cigarettes. The room itself was remodeled. However, the bathroom was not. The hallways were noisy most of the night and we could hear every step taken by the people in the room on top of us. Would not recommend.

Hotel Sept-Iles is an old hotel but offers wonderful waterfront views of most rooms. The exterior, hallways and staircases are in terrible 1 * quality condition.
However, the rooms were mostly updated with comfortable beds, clean sheets, good Keurig coffee maker and hot water with good water pressure.
It has a fantastic location and is affordable. Don't be turned off by the exterior appearance - staff are friendly and the rooms are comfortable and clean.

Nous avons été très déçus dès notre arrivée à l’hôtel. En ouvrant la porte de la chambre, il faisait extrêmement chaud et il y avait une odeur de cigarette. Sans air climatisé, nous avons dû ouvrir la fenêtre, qui donne sur le balcon partagé avec tous les fumeurs. On a ouvert la porte pour aerer. Tous les locataires etaient debout a 2am. La plupart fumait. Très désagréable. La salle de bains est en grand besoin de rénovation, avec son allure des années 70, sans même de ventilateur. La buée de la douche réchauffe ainsi la chambre davantage. En plus, nous avions besoin de monnaie pour la buanderie et en avions demandé à la caisse et au restaurant, mais en vain. Nous n’avons donc pas pu faire notre lavage. Bref, dans ces conditions, nous avons quitté l’hôtel plus épuisé que lorsque nous y sommes arrivés.

The hotel is right on the waterfront, and every room has a great view and a balcony with chairs. That said, the rooms are dated, the bed wasn't that comfortable, and the railing on the balcony is rusted and looks a little unsafe. The staff members were very friendly, welcoming, and very helpful.

Avoid at all cost. From the moment we checked-in, we regretted our decision. It took them two days to prepare our room. There was no AC and only a small window, so the air is always damp and hot. The worst part was the staff. They simply do not care about you and put in zero effort to do their jobs. We had so many more complaints that I don't have the patience to type out here. There are so many other hotels in the city. Go to any of them before booking here.

I booked with Expedia. Two rooms left. Took a king suite. Called the hotel asking for a taxi. They said no, they won't send a taxi because I don't have a room, they are full. Confirmed by Expedia, but not the hotel, you need to fix that.

L'hotel est très vieux, et les chambres le sont également. Mais c'est propre et le lit, n'était pas trop mal confortable. La vue sur la mer est superbe. Il n'y a pas de de Clim dans les chambres, mais on peut ouvrir les fenêtres et avoir l'air frais de la côte nord et entendre les vagues. Mais bruyants lorsque les gens qui passent.
