We stayed here for 3 nights for an event in Caserta. The hotel was well appointed, and in a great location close to the Palace. The staff were lovely and very helpful. Breakfast was excellent with a wide selection of food and drinks. The room was neat and clean with nice toiletries in the bathroom. Air conditioning worked well, and the blackout curtains were useful. I particularly liked that I could communicate with reception via WhatsApp to confirm my arrival time

Amazing breakfast included - anything you might want. Had a good reasonably priced supper here one night. Well-run hotel with charming staff who looked after us (and others in our wedding party) very well. Short walk from railway station and shops so very convenient.Would definitely stay here again.

My train arrived prior to Check-in time, but the hotel gave me a room that was ready, so I could enjoy the afternoon touring Reggia Caserta after getting refreshed in the room. My paper tickets for 2 events got soaked with water on the train. The front desk very kindly reprinted my tickets, eliminating any chance that I would be rejected at the entrances.

An exceptional quality hotel in a fabulous place.

We have been to Caserta before, this was just an overnight stop before catching a flight from Naples Airport. This is a really excellent hotel in all respects. It is two minutes from the station. The accommodation was spectacular. The food (breakfast) was all top quality with a wide range available. Staff were especially helpful and friendly. Really good value for money. Caserta is a great place to visit, and the Palazzo Reale with its garden is totally exceptional. This hotel is definitely the best place to stay for a break of journey or for a longer stay, wholeheartedly recommended. There are direct bus connections to Naples Airport, and the railway station is a stop on the mainline between Rome and Bari. Don't miss Caserta, and definitely stay at the Hotel Royal.

Front desk agents were very friendly, professional, and helpful. Room was clean, well designed, and supplied necessary items like in-room coffee, tea, and toiletries. Some of the best staff, very accommodating, helpful in everyway. Good breakfast each morning and friendly staff. Hotel was situated well for our needs, both work and places to visit. Definitely visit the Royal Palace. Bring food to eat at a bench outside, weather permitted, or use the services that they have.
Upon departure, had the best concierge help us with the taxi ride to the airport.

Comfortable and elegant! This lovely hotel is conveniently located in walking distance of very good restaurants, rental car office, and right across the street from the Royal Palace. With wi-fi, air conditioning, and an elevator, the hotel provided everything we wanted, but its true gems are the hard-working and dedicated staff who overwhelmed us with their kindness. The manager Viviana made sure we were comfortable during the extreme heat, and with her team at the front desk, especially Mariana and Emilio, all our questions and needs were taken care of.

The hotel is nice, located across the street from the Royal Palace garden and the palace itself (it is similar to Versailles in size and scope).

Across the other street, a short walk leads you to a nice area with restaurants and shops. We enjoyed walking there every night.

The breakfast was very good, one of the best we've had in hotels in the area. The room was very comfortable and while next to a very busy street, the noise level as acceptable.

Traffic in the area of the hotel is very busy, so be careful and attentive ! GPS navigation was always correct.

The hotel has very limited parking in front - 7 small spots. Some web sites indicate parking and free parking but it is limited. Just past the hotel you can go into a tunnel and access a large parking structure. We were told at check-in that a hotel discount was possible, but found out otherwise. It is 1 Euro per hour in the structure, then a 5 minute walk to the hotel. I don't recommend parking on the street.

Great location for visiting the reggia Di caserta

Very clean and the service was super. All very gentle and attentive. Downside is the parking space very little so almost.always full and we had.to use an off site pay to stay parking. Also not the best.to find sofa beds instead of proper single beds for the family room when it is advertised as a 1double + 2 single beds (a single bed is different from a sofa bed and shall be declared clearly). Overall I still give the hotel a 4 stars out of 5.

This hotel situated near the Royal Palace but a few blocks away from the main tourists street. It’s quiet and comfortable. If you are visiting the palace in the summer, advise you to go either in the morning or near the evening to avoid the direct sunshine. As the palace is huge, there are a lot of walking in the sun.

Separate sitting area and CNN for some English on the TV. Staff was very helpful. There are large trees covering the front of the hotel, so the sign was not visible when approaching on the street.

Excellent Location Near Naples.

Great hotel. About a 40 minute train ride to Naples and only a little over an hour on the high speed rail to Rome. Caserta also has many interesting sites to behold. Within 30 minutes any tourist can visit Capua, Santa Maria, Caserta Vecchia, and of course the Royal Palace. This is an excellent location to jump on the train for Naples or get up to Rome for a day trip.

We have stayed several times at the Hotel Royal Caserta. The rooms are clean and comfortably and have an extra large bed. The rooms are large and have a fridge and kettle. The hotel is right by the Palace and train station and there are plenty of shops, restaurants and cafes near by. There is also a good supermarket just round the corner that sells everything you could need and is open 24 hours. The staff are always very nice and helpful. We would stay again.

The mattress is so hard it's like a rock. I woke up with a back pain. The A/C was at max but was working very poorly. It's was warm and REALLY humid in the room. The only plus is the location. It's very near the castle. Overral, really disappointing. I do not recommend.

Very pleased with my choice of hotel. This is a modern structure that has been totally renovated to a very high standard. Lobby was comfortable and air-conditioned. Reception seemed to know that I was coming as they recognised my name immediately. The lift was quick and our room comfortable with a king size bed. Our room (256) overlooked the street and pedestrian pathway to the Reggia of Caserta (a five minute walk). There was a little noise Saturday evening but that is to be expected. There was a large walk-in shower. Bathroom overall was large and immaculately clean. Breakfast was fine, with the usual assortment of continental options. The hot option was scrambled eggs, bacon and sntizel. There is a snack bar/cafe just outside of the hotel, so if you need anything like water/snacks for day trips, you can get them there. Short walks to Via Roma and the Corso. I highly recommend this hotel if you wish to visit Casert and the Reggia.

It was difficult to get to because of the one way streets and when we arrived there was very little 'free' parking at the hotel. I complained that we had booked the hotel as it had free parking. There was some arrangement across the street for parking and finally the hotel did pay for the parking!! The breakfast was good and plentiful.

This is an excellent hotel, beautifully refurbished with modern rooms and décor. The breakfast was varied and the restaurant staff very friendly. If there was any small failing it was that the lunch and dinner menu was rather limited. Nicely cooked and presented but only 4 or 5 choices.

Reception staff are very friendly and helpful. The restaurant Manager was most unhelpful even saying that the hotel did not have a wine list!!! and only offered a choice of house red or white!! He did not provide an a la carte menu (though other diners where given one) and we had to choose from a limited dinner menu. He did not offer any bread to us though it was on other tables and we had to ask for it. When we asked for a glass of water we were told that they could only sell a 1lt bottle. When we complained to reception about the bad dining experience they apologised and gave a 15% discount on the meal. Everything about this hotel is satisfactory except for the restaurant manager and his staff.
