The hotel reeked of marijuana and cigarette smoke. Paper thin walls made it impossible to rest with party goers up all night. One bar of soap to clean with. Floors in our room were covered in sand or dirt. Unclean bedding. 0/10 recommend. Our fault for thinking $135 would be decent for just a nights rest while traveling.

When I got out of the elevator the whole second floor smelled like urine. When I got to my room the scent was gone, but the floor had stains on it, a few dead small roaches. Nasty nasty nasty place.

I stayed here for a night and would describe the experience as very much “you get what you pay for.” The price was affordable, and the bed itself was reasonably comfortable, which made it fine for a short stay. The staff was friendly and helpful.
That said, the room felt quite dated and could use some updating. While it wasn’t outright dirty, it had a worn, slightly grungy feel that made it less inviting than expected. There was also a noticeable odor throughout the building that wasn’t particularly pleasant and lingered during my stay.
Overall, it worked as a budget option for a quick overnight stay, but will be looking for another option next time we are in town.

So sorry to have to write this 😢 Roaches in room, one even got in my suitcase and came out when I opened it at home! Staff did not clean our room or pick up dirty towels one day, the next day beds were not made and they just left 2 towels and a face cloth. I had to get a roll of toilet paper as they did not leave any. No toiletries left except 2 small bars of soap the first day. I had to ask for more and for shampoo and more towels. There was a spot of blood on the outer cover and one pillow had 2 flat pillows in one case. Staff were not friendly and were not surprised when told about the room not being cleaned. In fact he asked if we were on 2nd floor, when I said no, he said that the 2nd floor is usually the rooms that get missed with the cleaning. I hope that this honest review gets posted! Needless to say, will never stay in a Motel 6 again and hope no one else does either.

While the staff were helpful and friendly, the stay was terrible. We had to leave early because our experience was so bad. The room was so hot because they had the A/C turned off and it was 90° outside. Then, the mini fridge was completely frozen over and unusable. The walls were super thin, so we could hear EVERYBODY’S business. We got no sleep because of it. They gave us no shampoo or conditioner and the floors were sticky and the bath was disgusting. Do not stay here unless it is absolutely necessary.

Only good thing about this place is the price...it's cheap.
Front lobby smelt like skunk weed when we checked in.
Run down and needs better housekeeping. Our ac unit sounded like it was going to fall off the wall when it turned on each time. Bathroom was horrible and needed a full overhaul. Rooms are extremely tiny. Bed was like a brick, and I couldn't figure out what was thinner the bed sheets or the pillow.

This was by far the worst one I have ever stayed at the entry and hallways rinks of nothing but cigarette and marijuana smell that once we got out side we was very thankful to get the air we needed to smell the room the bed was nice to sleep in but the bathroom was not cleaned and there was hair on our floor and our pillow cases was not changed out they had was nasty looking we decided not to sleep with the pillows

Hotel was clean, staff responsive and attentive. My room smelled like men's cologne and fabric softener. The bathroom door was closed and smelled like sewer gas, so I just kept it closed. That sewer smell didn't go away, but it stayed in the bathroom with the door closed. It was pretty overpowering. The room was cool and very moist. It felt like the cooling unit was a swamp cooler and not an actual air conditioner. It was not comfortable due to the humidity, but I was only there for one night so it was fine. The smell was worse than the dampness.

Within 5 days we didn't get clean linen, we had to ask for towels. The room was never clean properly. Laundry room was very dirty and the hallway had dogfood a long the baseboards and didn't get picked up by anyone. Swimming pool was murky.. The shower vent was missing and the shower head leaked a lot of water while showering.

Room was very dirty. Coffee, juice and spit on the walls. The floors had dirt and grease balls on them. Woke up to people screaming. Dogs barking next door. Floors and carpet in the staircase was absolutely filthy. Ice machine was broken had to go to different floors to get ice. If you want a clean comfortable place... DO NOT STAY HERE. Who ever rated this hotel highly is absolutely clueless of what a hotel should be. You know it sucks when they have to post on the door to make sure you lock your doors when you are inside!

I was there for 3 days. When I left my room for the 1st day I COMPLETELY open the bathroom door against the entry door into the room. So the entry door wont open with out hitting the bathroom door. When I returned that evening. The bathroom door was completely shut. Somebody was snooping around in my room. I did not notice anything missing. The second day I called the front desk and specifically asked for NOONE to enter my room during my stay. The second day I did the same situation with the bathroom door while I was gone, and again someone had entered my room and closed the bathroom door and snooped around.
The State of Texas says that they are NOT allowed to enter a occupied room unless there is a emergency, Maintenance reasons, or for illegal activity in the room. No entry was necessary by management.
I know this is long , but I wanted to explain how I knew someone was snooping in my room. The front desk said room service had come. BUT, the bed was not made, the trash was not taken out, and no towels were replaced that were dirty on the floor. :-(

The check in process was not professional. No lobby restroom. I had to use the staff restroom and it had urine all over the floor. Front desk staff brought their dog to work. During the check in process they tried to give me a room I didn’t reserve and then proceeded to tell me the floor they were going to put me in was exterminated for roaches. When I got to my room it was dirty, the bed was uncomfortable and the pillows were uncomfortable. We checked out super early the next day because we didn’t want to stay there any longer than we had to.

If you love the smell of saturated SMOKE in the halls, rooms and front desk this is your place to stay. Canabis and Marlboro smoke everywhere. After my stay I need to wash and throw some colthing items away. Also, if its hot out the halls are cooler than the actual room. Beware befor you stay here.

Gives Motel 6 a bad name. Gives the town a bad name. Don't know who or what had been in the room before, but it smelled like a barn = wet straw, manure and animal sweat. The whole building was run down with signage defaced, broken faucet, and the humidity was dripping. Properly trained clerk should stand and not sit during customer interaction.
