Do yourself a favor and get off Nassau and check out some outer islands.

I chose Pink Sand when I decided to take a solo trip to Harbour Island and I’m so glad I did. Everyone was lovely and personable and made me feel at home which is always nice. I booked an oceanfront villa and the view from the deck was outstanding! I was so sad to leave and move on to another island on the 3rd day.. I should have spent all 6 days looking at the most beautiful beach and water I’ve ever seen!

This is a fabulous resort!! If you are looking to be in a secluded and very quiet resort, this is the place for you. They are currently installing a new infinity pool which is the only thing missing right now. The food is also amazing. Thanks again for a great visit

Absolutely Lovely But Needs TLC

Pink Sanda is absolutely lovely and the service and staff are exceptional. Everyone was so friendly. The grounds, although beautiful, are a bit dated. The tennis court was great but the lawn surrounding it needed to be resodded and mowed. We toured another property on the island and it was super pristine. Fresh new grass and grounds. Pink Sands is legendary and certainly has a wonderful ambiance and reputation. We did love it but just did a comparison.

Pink Sands Resort offered everything we were looking for on our holiday. While the check-in and first day's services were a bit rough, everything was smooth sailing afterwards. We really enjoyed our room, the Bird Cay, which had lovely views of the garden and close to the beach. Both the hotel and room was clean, well-designed, and spacious. We had two delicious meals at the Blue Bar and the main restaurant, with wonderful grilled fish tacos, tuna, and ravioli. The pina coladas were also yummy. Mr. Kim, the property manager, was extremely gracious and welcoming. I also had a nice game of tennis on this property, which I really enjoyed. I would definitely stay here again.

Property very expensive per night so one would expect lots of amenities. No workout facility and swimming pool needed resurfacing. Beach is lovely but there is no snorkeling anywhere on island. Room spacious but RV sometimes didn't work and shower needed rehaul. No bathtub.

This high end resort is one of several on Harbor Island. Staff is great and the beach is nearby and one of the best anywhere. I did not use any of its restaurants, but heard good things from others. A.C. was quiet and not intrusive as in many places. Lots of privacy. Unless you love to walk, you will probably want to rent a golf cart to get anywhere outside the facility.

The Place to Stay on Harbour Island!

Amazing beach and water. Very private experience with just a few other guests around even during a peak time. Great staff that’s very helpful with everything. Definitely *the*place to stay on Harbour Island!

My wife & I were here in late January, which must be off season, as there were very few guests and staff was a little short. The blue bar, where light food & drinks can be purchased was closed most of the time. Only the formal dinning was open. We traveled to Valentine's for most of our food and drinks. You are definately on island time. We ordered a golf cart through the resort around 3:30 Saturday, but didn't receive it until 11:30 Sunday morning. The resort does have great views and access to the pink sand beaches.

Rooms are great but the wild roosters do crow all night. Also you have to avoid beach when the horses are out. They tend to leave their waste on the beach and in the water when the riders take them out for a swim.

I don’t mind paying up for high quality but I found the rooms spacious but sparsely furnished. The staff was wonderful and the food was terrific. The Anglo Raj furnishings in the bar and dining room were very reminiscent of the times we spent in Southeast Asia in the early 70s

Charming updated vintage resort

This resort is over 50 years old. It is a beautiful property with an amazing sunrise and beach. The food was delicious but as with all food at any place on Harbor Island, insanely pricey. A cocktail will run you about $20. But as stated, that is consistent on the entire island. The cottage we stayed in was easy stroll to the beach. Beautiful beaches! It was a great long weekend getaway! The staff was very nice and accommodating. Concierge made our dinner reservations around the island. The food on the island was excellent. A Foodies paradise! There is a local liquor store across the road from the airport strip. Next trip... yes we are definitely returning, we’ll stop there for a bottle of rum and a case of beer.

The free range roosters and chickens that roam the island are charming. I loved them! Even the 5 am crowing. But, I understand that some might not share the same sentiment. Just be aware.

There are newer, updated resort options on the island. The resort felt a little tired and did not draw enough clients compared to their competition. This resulted in fewer food options at the sole restaurant.

Another location marked off my bucket list

Loved having my own little cottage so close to the beach and nice restaurants nearby. Only problem I had was getting ice delivered on time and getting 5 wild chickens off my deck when I wanted to relax. It also bothered me that rooster crowed before I wanted to be woken. Some guests might like the chickens but I would prefer not having them.

Beautiful location but needs updating

The hotel has some very friendly staff & gorgeous views. However, the rooms and other facilities really need to be updated. Pink Sands used to be the nicest hotel on the island. Unfortunately, that's not the case anymore. Their neighbor hotels on the same stretch of beach (The Coral Sands & The Dunmore) are both much nicer hotels now. I love \"old school\" places...but this is just in need of some serious renovations.

Not worth the price

Not up to standards. A pretty setting but a bit worn out. They seem to be in some sort of transition from a luxury hotel to individually owned condos. Not worth the price.

Great spot on the beach

Nothing bad to say about the hotel. Its a very nice villa oriented hotel with paths that lead to a very sweet stretch of beach.

The lobby area has a very Victorian feel to it and the rooms themselves are nice. They are a bit dated and probably require some upgrading and some paint, but it's not like you go to Harbour Island to stay in the room. The Four Seasons it's not, but it's still a very nice place.

The Blue Bar was really cool, wish they had some TVs in there for the Superbowl. Staff were very helpful on all counts.

pros: location, rooms, private decks and service.

Cons: Pool is in a terrible location. I guess when you have that amazing ocean who swims in the pool? Blue Bar seemed a bit sleepy to me, but perhaps it was the time of the year. Looks like it could be a buzzy spot. Not cheap.

Get yourself a golf buggy and fill your fridge with booze to avoid paying at the hotel.

Would stay at PSR again if I went back to Harbour Island.
