The reception staff were very rude when we checked in. Our villa smelt of dampness and has mould around the air con and also in the bathroom, the complex needs a good clean and tidy up and is seems a little run down.
Breakfast was ok, but not as large variety as other hotels. The staff at breakfast were very nice and helpful.
Our villa was very large and the complex was very quiet with no one hardly in the pool. Great spot for relaxing
For $120AUD per night it was a good price.

Initially I booked with Zign Premium Villas which is the sister property and right across the street. However the check-in process was a disaster so I decided to just stay at the Zign Hotel. The room was ok. Beds were hard and thin covers. The staff was not friendly except the bellsman who helped me with my luggage. I ordered room service twice and my order was wrong BOTH times even after the waitress repeated the order. The food was terrible. The only things I enjoyed were the spa and the private beach access. It’s very far from everything and it’s really hard to get a taxi to go into the city.

Be careful of this place. Our entire floor smell like mold and probably had mold. I checked out early of my hotel due to an emergency and they refused to give me a refund to I ended up calling my credit card. Additionally, they were kinda of racist towards us, they paid more attention to the Koreans guests and Chinese guests than us. Please avoid this hotel at all cost.

this is my second visit at this hotel. i booked a one bedroom suite the room was well prepared,aircond was on when we arrived. room condition 4/5 a bit of problem with shower with hot water which need to be fixed

Out of the way hotel

Service standard is lacking.when I checked in, there were more than 6 staff at the counter, but I was asked to wait for a particular staff who was serving someone who seemed to be checking in for 20 to 30 people. After waiting for a while, I decided to ask for another service staff….on Saturday night, the carpark was full and I was told to double park and leave my car unlocked so that the valet can move my car by pushing it. Eventually, I parked outside the compound. This hotel is in a godforesaken place with no attractions within 1.5km. The roads leading to the hotel are really small and not suitable for walking. Suggest you stay closer to Central Pattaya, near Terminal 21 mall where there is more to do.

A good family hotel for all ages

The hotel has a pet-friendly site, the room was very spacious. Our two cats were happy and did not mess up. The manageress was very accommodating to upgrade me to this pet-friendly site as there was a mistake in my booking. The staff from the car park, room service, and the swimming pool were good.
The other site - the main- overlooks the sea, and there are many levels of swimming pools. A great sight and a temptation to swim,

Very polite, but pleasant? Not quite.

Although the staff were very friendly and apologetic when there were issues, the problems we had were not resolved. For example, our balcony light could not be turned off the first night, even after being told that someone would come to fix it. Nobody ever showed up. The next morning we asked for the balcony to be cleaned as it was very dirty. Someone swept it without much care when it really needed a proper mopping. We stayed in a city view room, and guessing that these rooms need some updating as other parts of the hotel appeared new and modern. For example, the shower head didn’t function properly and everything in our room was rather old and falling apart- including switches that didn’t work. On the other hand, the breakfast was excellent offering a variety of international choices as well delicious local dishes. The buffet dinner was also quite good, albeit pricey. The location proved to be what we wanted. It was within walking distance to the Sanctuary of Truth, which was the main reason we stayed there.

Room was filthy, hair in the bed sheets, fridge filthy, floor and bathroom had mold, hair all over the bathroom, sheets on bed not cleaned, complained to the duty manager on check out and was promised a call back from Manager, however 1 month later am still waiting for a call or e-mail. Modern hotel with many amenities and a fabulous pool. I wouldn’t want to book here in the summer months when it gets busy as it would be chaos. Very little English spoken and the staff are excellent. But miserly when it comes to a six day stay as they charged us extra for a single bottle of water after paying for an extra day just to have a late check out at 6 pm. Wouldn’t extend the checkout to 8 pm so we had to wait in the lobby for several hours. Rooms are good but I’m not a fan off the black mould in the bathroom and hot water was a long time coming. Had several issues with the card type keys not working. Overall ok, but won’t be back.

Over night at the zign and not that impress.

Most of guests are Chinese tour group which is very noisy but this cannot be complaint.
-Security at parking area is quite loose.
-The smell at lobby area was not good because it smell Chinese food all the time day and night.
-Refrigerator in my room is not clean.
-Hotel has strange system in my room (A8030, when open balcony door the air-con will be off) I am not sure it can save cost (energy) as mentioned because machine could be broken down first.
-Hotel staff don't know the area, could not recommend to go any place properly.

Staff at the lobby were very attenttive. We were upgraded to rooms on executive floor which were so spacious. Waitresses in the restaurant for breakfast were nice but there were so many of them during my dining. So they got together in a big group and talked loudly. Not a nice scene though for this hotel.

Hotel staff not able to speak English. It is hard to communicate with a foreigner who doesn't speak Thai language. My phone was out of battery after a long flight, I asked front desk late night upon check in if they have an adaptor for me to borrow, they said no to me. When I call housekeeping staff, they told me to look for Front desk because I neda pay deposit 100BHT. Anyway, I was in a rush to meet up with my friend before they finished work. I stood right front at the reception desk for 15 mins just to wait my phone re-charged up to 2% so that I could contact my friend and let them know I am on the way.
It was a very hectic situation when the staff couldn't speak English. Hope this could be improve as this is a high quality hotel full of foreigner visitors who doesn't speak Thai.

The hotel is modern, clean and comfortable. The swimming pool area is nice. The beach area is ok.
Breakfast buffet is excellent. The location is ok, it's not very centrally located. It takes a 30 minute taxi ride to get to Beach Road. I did not find that an issue as taxis are cheap. The area around the hotel is quiet which was nice. Close around the hotel are a few decent and cheap restaurants but the area around the hotel is not particularly interesting.
The hotel caters to Chinese guests. 99% of guests in the hotel are Chinese.

This is the third time that we stay in this hotel, the service is good. We Especially love the swimming pool and the gym, It also provide some Fitness class Which is free of charge, just outside the hotel you can easily to find some restaurants. However It is located in the northwood Pattaya Which is not so convenient to the city.

what I can say is the hotel lack of liveliness, warming and welcom feeling.
I did not buy a breakfast but did have lunch at the restaurant by the beach, the taste was plain.

When you arrive to the hotel everything is impressive, professional and friendly staffs, large check-in counter and aroma. Room is clean and big. I love the bathroom, large basin, bathtub and shower. Very large hotel ,don't know how many rooms ,but there's 2 buildings and there's alot .
Well organised and clean rooms .
Great view from the balconies,city or sea.
Drinks maybe a bit overpriced from the bar,and they having a rather silly corking charge of 500bht for their beach area.
2 very large pools,so if youre a swimmer ,it's a good choice .Would say at their longest points ,probably around 30-35 m across.
Popular with Chinese tour groups ,so there are a heck of alot of Chinese tourists staying in this hotel.
In a quieter part of pattaya ,so youd probably be best off with a car if you wanted to go to central festival,north pattaya beach ,jomtiem etc

Check in the hotel with my girlfriend and another couple. Its a nice and quiet hotel. Very suitable for couples who want to get away from the city.
I love the swimming pool very much. But the seaside is badly maintain. Next to the hotel is a factory. So it pollute the seawater. So do not think that the sea is beautiful.

But still I and my friends love the hotel itself very much. Would love to stay and swim again at their swimming and not the seaside.

The hotel is very appealing. Though, it would need some refurbishment. Our room had significant signs of wear. The room and bathroom also would require a more profound clean up.
We were somewhat disappointed about the rather cool water of the fantastic pool landscape. It would be fine to have at least one hot whirlpool.
Everything else seemed fine to us.

The hotel is understaffed hence service is very slow. Check in and check out also takes long time. Although credit card was for gaurantee they charged it and said sorry this was after offering the hotel cash on arrival, which they refused to accept and said I was not a problem and we will not charge the card. They also expressed inablity to refund saying it will take 4 weeks for refund. Very bad Pr I must say.

Family vacation in Pattaya Zign hotel

Overall the stay was good. The proce of the hotel is appropriate. Room is spacious, clean and quite. Facilities of the resort are complete, kids live the swimming pool while myself enjoying the full fledge gym facility.

The probably downside was the location which is a distance Away from the city, but if that what you want for the trip. It would be perfect. Generally, I am recommending this hotel to other.

My recent stay in Zign Hotel, Pattaya

We had a 2 days off weekend in pattaya and zign hotel has offered us a great deal. Though the hotel is away from the city crowd but that was what we were looking for. A quite stay and tend to stay away from the crowd. The room was big enough with all the facilities needed inside the room available. Kids love the swimming pool too. I also spent sometimes in the gym where equipped with full range of facilities.

Lastly, would highly recommend anyone who are intending to spend a weekend in pattaya, with a resort facilities and not in the city crowd. This is the place you are looking for.

Our room wasnt very clean at all. There were numerous dried up contact lenses on the bathroom floor, mold growing around the edge of the bath tub. There wasnt anywhere to hang towels in the bathroom - no hooks or racks. Bathroom shower door didnt shut properly. The pools however were pretty amazing - very nice indeed, and well supervised - just as well really because the beach was very muddy, and I wouldnt go in the water there - not clean at all. It was a nice stay, but definitely not one for a special occasion.

Three star wannabee hotel

We used discount voucher from Expedia which was very helpful. Otherwise the listed price was definitely not worth it. The room floor was one of those non-slippery tiles which make for very difficult cleaning. So our feet were dirty all the time, definitely not something to look forward to because we wanted to walk around the room without our slippers. The location is not so good either as the hotel is very far from main street. The convenient store makes it livable. Because the hotel is set on the cliff side facing the east, the open pool was very cold. Breakfast was plentiful but we were reminded of greek weddings because the staff keep dropping plates. The sauna was small and there should have been a jacuzzi.

the zign hotel locate a bit far from Pattaya city center.
but i think it is only one disadventage of this hotel.

Stayed in the cottages across the road from the impressive Zign hotel buildings. These are part of The Zign and slightly older then the cottages at Z Through, just down the road.
Great private cottages, in a nice tropical setting. Some facilities around, but for the 'action' you need a 10 minute ride to town. This resort is more for relaxing with your partner. Walk across the road to use the beach in front of the big hotel buildings or the amazing pool there. The pool at the cottages is smaller but very private and also designed very nice. Absolutely will be back here.

The Zign hotel is facinating. I rest at superior room being nice I like thier mixing color. Bahtroom: the layout is fitting for using and approxiate for sweet couple ABF : It's very delicious and they always fill food before empty; futhermore foods are very various. However, I don't like the lobby 'coz it's not privacy for guests who need to put on wrapper go to swimming pool

Positive sides; new hotel, great outdoor pool, room still new. Negative sides; DOUBLE STANDARD SERVICES We booked 6 rooms altogether so we traveled by our private van and a personal car. When we came into the parking lot, there were plenty of spaces but guard refused us to park eventhough my colleque explained that he was a customer staying at the hotel. He was told to move out from the parking space after taking the place and needed to drive out to park at the zign villa zone outside. I saw 2-3 vans in the parking lot so I asked the other guard walking by why my colleque could not park. He said it was because the van were to pick up customer so could not park. I felt SO UPSET. My colleque helped the team by volunteering to drive but he got treated LIKE A DRIVER. AND EVEN IF HE WAS A DRIVER WHY HE MUST BE TREATED DIFFERENTLY. WE ARE ALL THEIR CUSTOMERS. It's very UPSET for the team and this is very bad for team building. Anyone visiting the hotel, please ensure that you either; come with the tour group or drive your own sedan car otherwise you may face the same situation.

Good but not great

The lay out of the room is quite nice. Things would be more impressive If I didn't find any mould at the corner of the bathtub & shower box and stain on the shower glass. For the services, none of bellboy noticed my presence, as a very fat old woman. So, I had to drag my luggage & laptop from the parking lot to the receptionist counter & my room by myself. Asking for an able-to-use TV.remote control & a roll toilet paper spent around 30 mins. At Dessin (breakfast place), when I asked for a new fork, the waiter (temporary) told me to find in the kitchen, instead of finding it for me in his nearest cabinet. Anyway, I had a very nice breakfast, good variety & quality. Omelette was great, cheesy & yummy with a good portion. I think the hardware of this hotel (like lay out of the room, hotel & location) is cool and it'd be much better if the software (like services) can be improved.

Good but need improvement

The hotel,the location and the f&b are great, but room inside has problem; -refrigerator not working at all. -the design of face basil is so flat that the water is splatting.
