I was looking for a quiet and relaxing place for a quick stay after a long day hike. The Wentworth main building was nearly perfect with an inviting space, cozy dining, a complimentary pantry of snacks on every floor, decent food, and live music on Thursday evenings. The bathrooms in the rooms could use an update, but other than that I enjoyed the stay and staff were very accommodating.

Beautifully maintained old Inn in Jackson, NH. All the comforts, fire places, lounge and game areas, bar and restaurant along with a snack/coffee area with home made cookies on every floor in the main inn. Beds very comfy and clean. Bathrooms small and dated but clean. Enjoyed our 2 night stay, will be back!

Our room was large with an extremely comfortable bed , I do feel that the bathroom needs some attention it is very dated and our sink was cracked. Fabulous place for a get away. We were looking for some place close to the Mt Washington Cog Railway trip. This was perfect! Loved the atmosphere of The Wentworth. The staff goes above & beyond to make your stay a terrific one. We also enjoyed going to the Alpine & having a beverage & a light dinner. The food was delicious!

No one came over to us, so I got up, got some water and coffee for my husband and me. Finally, a waitress saw me doing this on my own and came over and was disturbed that I was doing this. She was very nice after that interaction.
The night crew in the dining room was awful. The hostess was horrible. Again, we waited over 20 minutes to get seated. He seemed out of it and did not know what he was doing. Sat us down and told us Scott was our waiter. Well!!!! We waited over 30 minutes until I asked another waiter if someone would ever come to our table.
Needless to say, this was nothing that my husband and I have ever experienced.

Wonderful anniversary get away
We come every year for our wedding anniversary. We always feel very spoiled there! Everyone is kind and helpful. We were disappointed the pool was not open as it was hot out and was open the previous year. Our bathroom floor was dingy and the shower clogged, but otherwise a lovely stay. The food was incredible.

It's a beautiful historic building with very tastefully designed and sophisticated public interior spaces. In addition, the scene at the bar and lounge, including the spaces and the happy crowd were pitch-perfect. Our only issues were with the restaurant (the 1869 Room) and the tiny sink in our single room. The 1869 Room isn't well designed, especially when compared to the lobby, bar, and lounge spaces. The overhead lighting is too high (the chandeliers look like they were selected by a different designer than the rest of the spaces) and the white walls don't help. In addition, the food is so-so. The menu might be too ambitious for the size of the staff. As a result the salmon was overcooked and dishes with multiple ingredients did not present well nor taste fresh out of the kitchen. We'll definitely return to the hotel, but will eat in the bar next time.

The hotel is beautiful and the lobby, pantry, restaurant are all very lovely. Staff is amazing, very helpful and so friendly. Breakfast was a treat. The continental selection is limited (no cheese or ham) but the hot breakfast was outstanding. The rooms are a bit older and the floors in the room were a bit odd (slanted) but overall we had a great stay and the little snacks provided in the pantry certainly was an unexpected bonus.

We’re used to eating well but I don’t think I’ve ever had better meals and felt so stuffed—the breakfasts ensured we didn’t need to eat lunch and the gourmet 4-course dinners received rave reviews from everyone in our party. The only thing I wish I’d have gotten clarity on was the Sunnyside suite pull-out bed. The suite was supposedly for 4 but the bed was so tiny and hard it’s not really good for full-size adults. Luckily my older teens took it in stride! There was a wedding going on during our stay but it didn’t interfere. We enjoyed the pantry snacks, the pool, and the nearby waterfall too!

We've been here several times it's very elegant bordering on what I would consider to be true luxury. Prices are anywhere from say $275 to $400 depending on time of year. Bedrooms are very cozy and comfortable beds are very nice showers are very nice most rooms have a large jacuzzi as well although we really don't use those too much. Food in the dining room is very good. You can either do a la carte or you could just add it to the room as well which is what we did this time around. The only thing I would watch out for we were in room 402 which in itself is an outstanding room really large large King nice gas stove huge jacuzzi. The only thing is the room directly above us which is 408 can be exceptionally noisy. The reason why is there's no carpeting on the wood floors upstairs. The couple that stayed were exceptionally noisy to the point that we were not the only guests who talked about that.

We loved our stay at The Wentworth. Jackson is a beautiful village and the hotel is in a perfect location, right across from the Jackson Ski Touring Center which has glorious trails. Our room was lovely and the beds were extremely comfortable. The Wentworth has a lovely large lounge area with roaring fires and lots of comfortable couches and seating. Food was good and the staff was so kind. Everyone couldn't so enough for you.

The inn is quaint with well appointed decor. The staff members were helpful but we did have some big inconveniences. We got to our room and noticed it was pretty cold. We chalked it up to it being cold outside and upped the heat. We woke up freezing with the heat not working at all. The window had a cold draft pouring through. My husband went to take a shower and there was no water. Staff quickly came to check on the issues. We were told we could stay in the room but maintenence would be in working.
We left so they could work on the issues. We were told the pipes were frozen. When we came back we were offered the ability to stay in the room or switch to another. We decided to move all our stuff over. I took a shower in the new room.
I plugged the hair dryer in and it instantly sparked and started smoking. We brought it downstairs and they gave us a new one. We left so they could work on the issues. We were told the pipes were frozen. When we came back we were offered the ability to stay in the room or switch to another. We decided to move all our stuff over. I took a shower in the new room.

Okay we've stayed here several times over the past few years. Always enjoy it. The staff is excellent you got a good deal for the money I feel. Definitely very popular with the wedding segments. They do have a nice pool very convenient. It's a liner type pool and to put it honestly it's a nice pool but it does need a few touches on it. The other thing that I've mentioned this in the past is that there's a few little areas that are care worn around the the hotel. The support columns that you see around the big wrap around ports definitely need some attention to detail. Inside everything is very nice definitely things are kept up very well there I think just the outside needs a couple touches to detail but other than that I mean it's a very nice place to stay. We plan and probably being back sometime in the fall.

Amazing stay at the Wentworth. Impeccably clean - I’ve never stayed in a hotel/inn so clean. Staff were all incredibly friendly and very accommodating. Our room was wonderful - so spacious and extremely comfortable bed. All linens were beautiful. Complimentary snacks/pantry was above and beyond - a real treat. Grounds are beautiful with plenty of activities outside - volleyball, cornhole, swimming, etc. Nice and close to white mountain for our hikes. Great stay and will be back.

Absolutely beautiful place to stay, we only spent one night there while passing thru traveling to Canada but family all wished we could have stayed longer. Would highly recommend buying the breakfast in advance when booking it’s much cheaper to prepay than pay at the restaurant and the breakfast was great.
