For a nice hotel, they were pretty stingy with the water and other advertised features that were not quite as expected. Transportation to and from the airport for example was not included despite this having been one of the selling features during booking.
Beautiful view, good activities at the resort, nice staff.
Food options coild be improved.

Ocean View visible but heard alot of construction noise. They put me at the end of the property where construction was loudest. Also had a voucher written with paid $1950 per person for trip to see Big Buddha and temple, then office calls me later to charge extra $1000
Baht for transportation, but transportation was included with already expensive $1950. Did not like the hassle at front desk.

Room and View georgous, staff ok, as hotel is in middle of nowhere, could have done with some entertainment and perhaps a pool service food and bar. Watch out for things wrong in your room at end of stay, the couple we traveled with got stung for 40gbr for getting tiger blam on a sheet, which i know from experience will come out in the wash, also said shop on site was never open, would not stay here again.

The room was great, and the main pools were gorgeous and would make anyone fall in love with the place, specially that there is no beach for swimming. However to maintain a status of a resort it should have at least another option of a restaurant. there is only one and it takes a very long time. The staff tries but, since there is only one option it is not enough and guests have to eat there whether they want to or not. So a cafeteria with snacks and fast food options would be a great idea to implement, specially for families with children.
The staff was great, very kind and attentive to guests needs.

I would not stay here again. The place was very dirty. There was trash and litter all over the place include outside my door the whole time despite my request it be cleaned up and around the pool. The actual buildings and paths are also just very dirty and need pressure cleaning. The slippers in the room were not clean but used. The breakfast was fine but geared toward Russian clientele. There was a large broken glass pane at the pool behind which is a 15 m drop. I warned the hotel that two orange cones was insufficient. I was ignored. Most of the staff spoke very limited English. There was unannounced construction

All need to be renovated. The only good thing about it was the view. Breakfast/ food was allways cold when servied. Understaffed. to many stairs. Bugs got into our room from under front door. No fly screens. Bugs flying around the food at buffet should be covered. Bath/shower was to hard to get in and out. not a 4 star at all.

They should advertise that this is a multi level hoymtel with no elevator and that there are a lot of stairs to climb. It is not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. The restaurant was incredibly slow. Waitvtime after ordering was 3 hours. The breakfast buffetvwas good. The rooms were large, with a balcony and clean. Be aware it is in a remote area with no restaurant close by. It was about 30
min to town but they did have a shuttle. I liked the hotel and the views but if you want eating options and/or night life you need to stay in town.

Supalai Resort is a great hotel. The staff are terrific and are very responsive to any requests. The views are great. It is quite remote so be prepared to just chill in place. Rocky’s Jetskiing is just down the road and is worth doing. And there is a little family run restaurant down road that offers some terrific options.

L’hotel est un peu isolé, mais ce n’est pas un soucis car il y a tout ce qu’il faut sur place.
La vue est incroyable. 2 piscines tres sympa. Une navette qui vous descend a la plage en bas. Chambre tres bien. Prix du restaurant tres correct.
Juste le service ou parfois ils sont un puu perdu. Mais ca ne gache rien au sejour passé dàs cet hotel.

Restaurant is terrible, food terrible, personal without interest. You are in the middle of nowhere without alternatives, you are ready to pay this price but not for what you are receiving. SPA??? You have to find it. To get somewhere is expensive. But if you just want to spend time at the pool or beach and not expect any service this is the nice place. No one wilk disturb you.

Wonderful staff, amazing views, clean room, nice pools, the breakfast was good- lots of selection. Good for relaxing by the pool or on your balcony- not a place if you want to hang out on a beach or be in the middle of the chaos. I really enjoyed my stay, the view was incredible!

It is badly maintained. The pool area was dirty and not cleaned at the button and many tiles where loose and there was rough surface - not ideal for kids.
The fitness area and the photos where not there and was out of function.
The pool bar was not operated.
There was no beach for swimming.
Only mud and small creatures.

So disappointing, nothing like the website. This is the worst place we have encountered in SE Asia. There may be nice rooms which look like the photos, but ours wasn't one of them. No flowers and towels on our bed in our tired, noisy room! The room would be at best 3 stars with tired fixtures and fittings, thin walls, slippy floors and dangerous shower/bath. The website promises a fully staffed spa, which is actually 4 locked rooms and a chaotic process of reception staff calling local people to find someone to come in and do a massage. The 2nd restaurant, at the \"Beach Club\", is closed. So is the bar at the pool, where there is no service at all. Breakfast is last night's leftovers and served in lukewarm bain maries. The staff eat at the same place so it can be a battle to get to the fresh food! The reception bar is a tiny space with an unused coffee machine and is practically empty, with no attempt to entice guests. There were 3 versions of the activities list, none of which were correct. To do even free things like yoga, you have to queue at reception at least 1 day in advance and request that the activity runs. Not one activity ran the whole time we were there. The staff are lovely, and this could be such a great resort, but it simply isn't. It appears to survive because Russian aircrews use it as their base.

Bugs geckos flies and smelly hotel

We arrived and immediately there were two geckos in the room. I notified the staff and they just responded \"it's harmless\" .. okay and? I don't want it in the same room as me. They finally agreed to take it out and then came in the bugs and flies.

The food was basic
Hotel is far from everything and very secluded no beach access.

Our first impression was very good because the location nice , but remote.
Our first night , there was the worst we had seen anywhere in the world.
The manager was very helpful and our problem was solved fairly swiftly.
We ended up staying in a villa next to the swimming pool.And that was amazing views.
The staff were helpful and pleasant when we needed anything.
I could say the breakfast would need a revamp and to be More selection.
The staff were helping themselves to the breakfast before any of the customers had been in to have anything to eat.

We had a very pleasant stay here being our first time at Phuket. Although, things were pretty distance away. They had accommodation and transportation to Phuket Old Town and Shopping which will take 40-50mins via van (must book day prior). Other free amenities were free kayaking and ride to the supalai beach. We had the sea view room which was beautiful. We choose breakfast option which is just couple of dollars more (highly recommended to keep you full). We went at low season in mid May which is a lot quieter and less people. The staff were very welcoming and nice. Overall, it was a beautiful stay and would highly recommend if you want a quiet and beautiful place with free accommodation!

The property is 10-15mins car outside of the nearest town, and up the side of a very very steep hill, so it is not very accessible/walkable. However, the view of the ocean is unparalleled - we could see it from our room and from the resort pool. It was so scenic and peaceful hanging out by the pool (which has two levels) during the day. There is also a shuttle down to the private beach, which is very convenient and very nice. Very beautiful and relaxing stay.
In terms of our room, it was comfortable, with good AC. The bathroom was a bit unclean on our first night, but once the staff came and cleaned once it was better. The view overlooking the ocean was amazing, but I wouldn't recommend stepping out on the deck as the deck boards bent a little under our weight when we stepped out. Overall a great stay!

I booked a package deal with this resort. If you are going to Thailand to just relax and stay at a resort this is the place to be. NOW if you want to do the things everyone talks about on social media & excursions this is NOT the place you would want to stay at. This place is an hour away from nightlife and entertainment, I had trouble getting a ride from here because no one would want to take the ride. Let’s not mention the big steep hill going up the resort, none of the motorcycles would want to take my rides because of this as well. Staff spoke very little English . I booked a 8 night stay and only stayed for 2 nights and booked a small hotel in patong. The first two days here were very difficult for me & none of the excursions would come this way because it’s too far I would have to meet them at a pick up point . I hope this helps & I wish this review was written before I booked. Asked for an iron and received one with a broken ironing board.

The staff at the buffet needs more training. We had accidentally ate pork when we are halal dietary. The menu was chicken however the staff changed the Bain Marie but the label was unchanged and in real it was pork. It was too late and we had it which is against our religion and culture.

If you choose to stay here then beware there is literally nothing else in the area. Our windows banged and rattled all night even with the gentlest of a breeze. The food is extremely poor prtions for the high price . The extremely steep hill up is dangerous with construction lorrys and works. Do not recommend this accommodation for its prices

The view is outstanding and having all rooms with seaview is a bonus..the staff all friendly and helpful however the problem was with the language regardless what position the staff held was very difficult to communicate sometimes that might cause a big problem as we wanted to book a car to go to Big Buddha almost did nearly got the taxi to go but changed our minds good that we did as the site was closed for a month due to landslide imagine we would have paid for the taxi and gone there with the site closed..
Also breakfast was always cold the fried eggs and also the scrambled eggs always cold should be always on an electric warmer ...the pool bar never manned there was never anybody to serve drinks the deck chairs by the pool very uncomfortable..the private beach like been ignored..

While this hotel was lovely, I wouldn't stay for a long period of time if you want to explore Phuket. You have to taxi/drive everywhere. Nothing around the hotel to look at. No shops, restaurants, or anything at all. Good for a couple of days rest and relaxation. BE AWARE this hotel is all stairs!! There are no lifts to the different levels, restaurant, pool, or reception. Where we stayed we had 3 sets of stairs to the restaurant and breakfast, then another set to reception.

This property is tired..it lookes like it was nice maybe 25 years ago? In our usa it would be like a super 8 on the water.. 50 bucks..it was a quick stop overnight to our island resort. Maybe feom what we are used to traveling thailand.. we are spoiled.. the sea is low tide alot here.. the service in reatarant is meh, we hardly were greeted..waited15 mins for a drink.. not the hospitality thai people are known for. Rooms paint grounds all that..need help.

The property had an amazing view of the islands in the Andaman Sea from the balconies. Sunrise was spectacular each morning. The pool was pristine and the breakfast buffet amazing. We reel like the hotel has to few staff that are not paid enough. Breakfast was not good, the beach is non existentent, so for anybody wanting to spend time on a beach, this is definitely not for you. Very isolated so if you want ro eat elsewhere you will need to take a taxi or rent a bike. Pool area is lovely but the rest of the resort is very tired and in need of some serious maintenance, with what are supposed to be pools at some of the villas full of dirty water and a bredding spot for mosquities which they have a SERIOUS problem with.

Gorgeous Sunrise!

We were there for one night on a stop over to another destination. Our room was clean and comfortable.
We had a beautiful view overlooking the ocean and watched a stunning sunrise in the morning.
We ate in the hotel restaurant and had a very good meal.
We were sorry we did not have a chance to use the beautiful pool.

Beautiful area. Pool was amazing. Room was dated and not very clean. Only one outlet in main room, one in bathroom. Restaurant was atrocious. The restaurant manager and the head waiter need to be fired. Confusion and cold food. One night I had an appetizer and a drink delivered after the meal was over. Because of the location there are no outside options. Also, no elevators. And the walking score is 0 for this property, as its on the side of a mountain with narrow, blind-curve roads. Great sunset and sunrise views from the room, though.
