Restaurant - the hotel is too far out of town with no local restaurants. The hotel displays an amazing menu around the hotel, however when I went to eat the menu was reduced to a very very limited offer (all meat) no good if you eat meat. Impossible to get a taxi - ended up paying 35 euro each way for an Uber!!

Breakfast was one of the worst. First morning ran out in an hour and second morning we got to experience a very poor breakfast. Rooms were tiny and basic. We got a pull out couch that got made for us.

The hotel is very old fashioned. furniture in the lobby is old and damaged. Could not find a single chair which didn’t have a hole or tear. Carpet is dirty and had glass in it. Walls have cracks in them, wallpaper and trim are damaged and old water leaks are visible. The pool is super small and damaged as well. We ended up shortening our stay and booking another hotel. Will not stay here again.

one disappointment after another..

This 2 night stay for our group of 8 was honestly one disappointment after another. You couldnt pay me to stay again.
Receptionists were those kind of cocky, matter of fact, know it all employees that dont really know anything.
There was a problem in their system with an offer (book 1 family room get 2nd 50% off) They insisted we pay an extra $50 per night. Whatever. Later we were down at the desk for a problem and realized this 'error' was happening with several other families. Its a scam and lots were mad.
But it got worse. Within about an hour of arriving my husband was napping and two women barged into the room and asked if he wanted water or coffee! No knocking! Just walked in and he was awakened from a sound sleep with two women standing in our room! This happened to our friends as well! When I mentioned this to the reception the answer was 'they wanted to know if he needed anything, if you dont want someone to walk in the room hang the Do Not Disturb sign on the door.' Ive traveled all over the world and people dont just unlock your door and walk into your room at 2pm. Insane! I said, I have 2 teen daughters in another room and someone can just unlock their door at any hour if it doesnt have a sign? Yes. Mind blown!
Site says AC. No AC. Apparently the city has to activated that so its not the fault of the hotel, but it should be clear on the site. It was 85° in our room, maybe more. No air. My 6 yr old has eczema that was horrible with the stuffiness and heat.

This hotel’s location is quite unique. It’s very close to a big modern shopping center and is also not far from the old town - not within walking distance but there is a tram station nearby. And the breakfast offered was decent.

Hotel is located in an isolated area with its surrounding looking unsafe. Our car parked outside like many other cars was scratched badly. When I checked in, someone next to me asked to view a room so thu at he could ascertain if he wanted to check in or not. That was late at night. Fortunately, the receptionist told him all rooms were occupied. He looked vy suspicious.
Room was old and not vy clean. A 2 cm cockroach was found in our bathroom. Traps of sink, toilet, bidet and bathtub were missing. If one is not careful, you could drop and lose your small earrings or ring into the sink or tub. Breakfast room was stuffy and food was basic.
The only good thing about the hotel is the good service quality of their hotel receptionists.

Clean rooms. Breakfast ok, not replenished at any point, had to set my own table every day, none were ready. Limited takeaway options nearby.
Swimming pool closed, in my opinion prematurely-11 Sept, weather still warm and pool would have been welcome.
No housekeeping on second day, I guess this could have been an oversight, lots of swimming & sports teams checking out, housekeeping must have been very busy.
Tram service awful, strikes and Sunday service meant taxis had to be used, adding to the cost. Hotel is on the outskirts of Turin, would use a hotel closer to centre if I visited again.

I chose this hotel based on its location about midway between the airport and city center, and close to highways for easier driving access to my business meetings; in that regard in met my expectations. The hotel is located off of a main road in a commercial area (e.g. car dealerships) though, so for any nicer dining or cultural experiences you will need to travel. There is a public transportation stop (above ground light rail) within walking distance of the hotel, which provides an inexpensive and fairly quick way to travel into the city center - without the stress and additional time of driving and parking. The hotel itself was as expected for a Novotel - modern atmosphere, very clean, and the breakfast buffet was enjoyable.

The staff was great , restaurant and fitness facilities also up to standard. However the rest of he hotel from rooms to swimming pool to bathrooms needs to be renovated a bit. Cleanliness is not tops, age is starting to show.
This is from someone who frequents Novotels a lot , this one ranks on the lower scale in this hotel chain.

The hotel is OK, probably suits business users more than tourists as it’s a bit out of the way. Room and common areas were a bit dated, could do with some renovation really. On the plus side, it’s hanfy for the main roads and there’s lots of parking. We struggled a bit with the restaurant menu which was all a bit odd!! Not really anywhere else to walk to, so you are reliant on the car. That said, Torino seems to be a driving town, so joining in with a rental car seems like the way to get around anyway... overall, we had a pleasant stay but may not pick the same hotel in future...

The buffet was not clean, food on the floor (yellow eggs on a dark carpet), and they started removing the food at 10:30 even though it was stated until 11.

That was my worst Novotel.

There was very little information available about the hotels amenities and how to use public transport to get to the center of Torino.
The pool was closed for winter although it was 70 degrees!
The trams and buses were hard to use and the location is very far away from the center and not at all within walking distance
Breakfast was mediocre and i had problems connecting to the wifi.
I would not stay there again

The hotel is definitely not 4 star. It's a good 15 minute tram ride from the center which is a plus but late at night is difficult to find anything to eat. It's beds are tiny and the room is smaller than appears in pictures.

The hotel resteraunt does not offer a lot of choices and service wasn't the best.

The lady at the bar one night was however helpful when we needed to get milk for a baby and everything was closed

I wish we had stayed nearer to the city center and spent the extra money.

Novotel in hiding

A great hotel and service - if you can find it! Neither hotel name or road name recognised on satnav. The entrance ramp from road to hotel is dangerous - my Honda Goldwing main stand grounded and pitched the bike, but going real slow saved the day. Cars have to go careful too. Not too difficult to fix - lengthen the ramp - reduce the sharp, short incline.

I was about to leave Turin and got stuck for another day. Made a same day reservation thinking was not going to be good. But I was very pleased with this nice Hotel. Restaurant is OK but perfect for my needs. Breakfast is very good. I will probably go back there next time.

Woken twice in very early morning by a member of staff using walkie-talkie on floor 4 then waited 20 mins for breakfast, staff were disorganised + one of the guys in restaurant had such bad body odour that I felt nauseous so gave up & left without eating.

water running out of the electrical fittings!!

The hotel was generally pleasant but the menu was very limited. No fish option at all, frozen pizzas, disgusting veggie burgers and because the meat slicer was apparently broken no cold meats. I had a meal of bread and cheese for the night I stayed. To cap it all at 4 in the morning water started to drip through the light fittings in the bathroom ceiling. The receptionist seemed quite put out the following morning when I complained and showed her the video on my phone of water coming out of the electrical fittings.

Overall a very good hotel and friendly staff, nothing was to much trouble, check in and check out trouble free, only downside was if you want a drink at the bar you had to always ask a member of staff as bar not manned full time but this was probably due to being out of season....otherwise very good hotel location perfect for out trip - would also recommend a visit to the restaurant \"Urbani\" and have the Antipasti which is fanstatic....

The staff were very helpful, the room clean, but the bed was not very comfortable. There is not much around there, although very convenient for working at Iveco which is the other side of the river. Long way from the city centre but there is the tram at the end of the road which is cheap.

The hotel is next to the motor way and its around 20 mins drive to central Turin. Free parking which is good, small swimming pool and had to wait 15 mins to both check in and check out, as they only had one receptionist at the time. Room is dated and basic but its clean and quiet. Breakfast is included but its pretty poor.

The bad ever!

1st of all when i rech the hotel after a long trip from kuwait to Torino i want to get rest and relax in the room, but they give me a wrong key for the room, then when i took the key i enter the room and surprise ( i fond people sleeping in the room!!!!) yeah they give me used room key and the people inside was sleeping (thanks god) and the 2nd thing they told me the breakfast is included but i paid after i checkout for 3 days!! And the last thingthe bed was not comfortable and the room is too hot and the A.C is not working!

Excellent overnight stay for family before catching flight the next morning. Room clean and well set up for a family of four. Wifi never worked and staff unable to rectify it during our stay. Evening meal was nothing special, but the child's meal was a generous size. Buffet breakfast next day was very good considering it was part of the price. Would definitely use again.

On the edge of town

This hotel is fairly new so it was clean & bright. Open parking is limited but we had no problems. It was nice that you could open your windows and with an open field across the street get good air.

Very disappointed in the complementary breakfast. The food was descimated by a large tour group and not replaced. The tables were not being cleaned as guests departed so there was no where to sit down. Very disappointing for such a nice location. Perhaps it will not reoccur as this was during the open viewing of the Shroud of Turin.

I did not see any restaurants within walking distance

We were able to walk two blocks to the rail into town.

The staff was great, really helpful and accomodating. We stayed at the hotel with our 9m old baby and the staff made our stay stress free. It is a bit far from town but it is ideal if you have young children as the rooms are specious and there is plenty of space for them to crawl or play in the hotel. I would def stay there again.

I was a little hesitant when I read the reviews stating that the condition of the hotel was not good.

I do not agree that. The hotel (at least the room I stayed, lobby and the restaurant) was in a good condition.

The hotel is not a place to stay if you are looking for some sightseeing or a walk at the city center. However it is very convenient if you are travelling by car and especially good if you are coming from or will go to Milan area.

The Novotel chain in Australia is well respected and very nice hotels however this hotel was new and had more of an Ibis or Fomule 1 feel. Definately not 4 star. The bathroom is one big cubicle and the floor, skirting etc is poorly finished. Not sure how it qualifies as 4 star as it should be 2.5 or 3.

Not much to offer despite holding a 4-stars

I've selected this hotel for relatively good price to stay over week-end, and I decided to pay extra versus 3-star hotel prices, to have a 4-star standard. I must admit that I'm not impressed with overall status of the hotel. The rooms status were surprisingly not satisfactory, most of the 3-star hotels I've stayed had better rooms.

The hotel is close to tram and bus station, I shoudl warn you that both the tram ad bus will be very full and the trip to city center will be a hassle..

Great Hotel Close to Downtown Turin

Went there during the exhibition of the holy shroud in April - the hotel is new - free parking and very calm and safe - staff gave my two daughters some teddy bears - the whole experience was great - a friend of mine was scheduled to go to Turin a week after my visit - i highly recommended this hotel to him and he is staying there now...
