Our stay fell short of expectations. While the property has potential, basic service standards were lacking. Many staff members appeared disengaged and frequently focused on their phones, which made it difficult to get assistance — particularly at the beach bar, where we waited more than 15 minutes without service.

The rooms could benefit from updates. Ours had a musty smell and cracks around the window seals that allowed mosquitoes to enter, which made the room uncomfortable. The beach area also needs attention, as several chairs and umbrellas were broken or left scattered around.

It’s worth noting that there is no hotel transportation offered, so getting around requires outside arrangements. Additionally, loud music played late into the night (around 3:30 a.m.), and the noise carried into the room, making rest difficult.

With improvements in staff attentiveness, maintenance, and guest services, this hotel could offer a much better experience. Unfortunately, during this stay it did not meet expectations.

From the airport (CAP) transfer to the Cormier Plage Resort and back, the service was excellent:
* smooth and fast transfer;
* quick check-in and room assignment;
* very clean room, bathroom, yard, beach areas, bar, dining and entertainment area;
* friendly, courteous staff (at all levels) throughout providing quick service and attentive to your every need, such as a special attention (personal fan) brought by one server (Mr. Johnny) during my dinner time to address an issue I noticed that I have;
* great security provided throughout the resort at every corner;
* in-room multi-channels TV availability; and
* very reliable Wi-FI service to stay connected with loved-ones around the globe; and
* great natural surrounding: nice landscape, ocean views, sea turtles/crab holes throughout the sandy shore, clean water to swim.

All in all, it's a great resort to vacation and have a great retreat. Even though it's my second stay there, I can't wait to come back!

THE STAFF CHARGED ME $30 US FOR BREAKFAST AND IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE FREE AND THEY MADE ME PAY CASH TOO A BIT SUSPECIOUS BUT I WAS ON A HURRY.
THE PLACE WAS A GHOST TOWN. $250 A NIGHT AND NO ACTIVITIES WHATSOVER. IT WAS THE FIRST AND LAST TIME TOO. THE ROOM WAS BIG - THE FOOD WAS DECENT - THE BEACH WAS CLEAN - THEY HAVE PLENTY OF PEOPLE AROUND IF YOU NEED ANYTHING. I stayed at that hotel 3 times. The airport pick up was included. One time I waited one hour and half in the unsafe Cap Haitien airport, second time I waited ten minutes and took a taxi. When I talked to the owner he basically said- if you do not like my hotel and services, go somewhere else.

First stay had two queen beds and upstairs view. Som a/c issues but not a problem. Second stay had a two family room was separated but had two twin beds also. Price was higher. A/c was really cool. Shower was not the best especially the shower head. There was no ocean view but pretty flowers. Food was great and not expensive. Service seemed slow at times but was actually just tie to relax. Views and floating on the beach made it a paradise. Location close to where we had boat. Can’t wait to return.

Amazing for people looking for a calm, quiet place ti clear their minds.
If you are the night party type, this is not for you. But if you want to get away and relax, go there. Their fish ceviche deserves a gold medal! Staff is always smiling and nice.

I loved this place with the exception on me cutting my foot on their beach within 30 minutes of arriving. Rose was GREAT! She went above and beyond to help me. I think someone else mentioned to have rubber shoes for the beach. Otherwise, it was really nice. It had beautiful view, delicious food and great hospitality.

It's a nice place, but don't forget to bring your insect repellent!!!
Think to also bring your own soap, cause they only give half of an Irish spring bar soap...unbelievable!!!
Be ready to not have water when you want/need to shower or flush after you.

Beach was cleaned of flotsam early every morning, plenty of security, lovely and secluded. Very safe place.
It's a north-facing beach under the mountain between it and the airport, so has clean seas although the sun ia facing away from the sea.
Good breakfast choice, and a limited but very good dinner menu.

I recently stayed at Cormier Plage Resort and overall was pleased with the experience. The staff were very friendly, from the owner to housekeeping to the kitchen staff. The staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. But a special mention goes to Greg, the head bartender. He was fantastic! Not only did he serve up exceptional drinks, but he also made every interaction fun and memorable.

The resort itself was beautiful, but it’s truly the people who make Cormier Plage a place worth returning to. I would definitely stay here again—thanks to everyone for a wonderful experience!

The staff was very friendly. The bartender made me the best drink and so I spent the day just going to him. Everything I needed I just raised my hand and he came over. The food was very delicious. The beach beautiful. The only thing that’s missing is a pool. Over all great experience.

I love the facilities! There is a tennis court, immediate beach access, laundry, massage services, nail salon, there is SO much to do! The staff is very friendly and helpful, whenever I needed them they responded.

And there are vendors that walk along the beach selling fresh coconuts that you can drink, conch, fried shrimps among other delicacies.

I'll be back again very soon. Highly recommend!!

The experience was quite underwhelming. The staff often appeared unhappy, and it always felt like I was inconveniencing them. After spending a week there, I felt unwelcome throughout my stay. I won't be returning. The only positive encounter was with the friendly chauffeur who picked me up from the airport.
We were 17people at the restaurant we had to beg for some white rice.

The place is not a four (4) star hotel, but convenient enough for the area. The staff were great! The manager Eud was excellent. The servers make me feel welcome at all times Max, Huguette, Dolce, Martine, Marie jeanne, Mr. Jean Baptiste. I strongly encourage someone to visit this place if you're going to be in the area.

The beach is beautiful and lots of it - a few steps away, and the staff keeps it clean and safe. An amazing vista from beach, walkways, and restaurant. Very peaceful and calming to sit and relax by the sea. Our Family Suite was spacious, clean, and quiet - with a great view from the balcony! The rooms had plenty of drawers, closet and storage space for our use, and lots of comfortable seating. The price was an amazing bargain! The food at the restaurant was excellent, and the breakfast - ordered from a wide selection - was perfect. The Wi-Fi was strong and consistent. Hot water was always working in our shower and sink. The beds were quite comfortable. Daily maid service was a plus. I will be back, for sure!

Suggestion - put in a pool on the west side of the restaurant. That would make your resort the absolute best in the area - beyond question.

The only complaint is that communication between the bar and food staff is terrible, and we practically had to beg for service each time we sat down to eat. The bar staff refused to tell the servers we were there - even when we asked them to! Some of the staff at the bar were quite rude and purposely ignored my friends who were with me. Mr. JB, your resort would have more business and make a higher profit if you solved this problem.

All other staff were very friendly and helpful. Great job!

Was really nice! Staffs were really nice and accommodating. The beach was to die for... but make sure to bring a bathing/swimming shoe - i got cut a couple of times from broken bottles laying at the bottom of the beach! Besides that, you will no worries. No problems with security! You feel safe and secure...
P.s. if you need to see around town, ask for babi. He will be someone walking around selling coconuts (tell him jimmitry sent you)
