It’s a very nice/cozy spot with great views. But for the steep hills that is difficult to climb, especially on a rainy day, i would definitely recommend it to fellow travelers as a comfortable place to stay overnight for a few days. However, i’ve had a hard time driving up the hill during my stay there which in turn makes it hard for me to advise others to stay there.

2) clean yes, but put very used towels in my room and everything inside the room out of date... They need to update bed n everything inside the room n bathroom. Or replace them at all
3) AC is only on for 2 hour by 4pm to 6m then off n will on again until 9 pm to 4am...
Long days under heat was really terrible. If u don't want dealing with heat u need to stay away.

5) Bar, it's okay but there are flies around the table when eating it makes the sanitation doubtable.

I start at the beginning : I was in constant contact with the staff to send a car to pick us up at the airport . I gave them the time of our arrival. I travel with my wife . They made us wait one hour .
The room was clean but there was only one towel and a tiny soap when we arrived . I had to ask 3 times to get another towel ( and no soap). The TV was not working ( they sent someone to fix it afterwards . The lighting is insufficient . No iron , no ironing board. There is no soap holder in the shower. And a piece of a towel at your feet when you come out of the shower.
The staff is helpful but I got the feeling that they are lacking formation for the tasks .
The breakfast is very limited . There was only lemon juice. The menu at the restaurant was also limited when we were there ( the server had to go ask at the kitchen if our choice was available ).
There were cats roaming near us in search of food which is not a good sight. Our stay was too short to enjoy the pool. In conclusion I would not recommend this hotel which is below the standard that you expect for the price.

The hotel was disappointing overall. The food was not good, and most of the staff were not friendly or welcoming. The only people who provided excellent service were a young man at the front desk, the driver, and Sabine, one of the servers, who was very kind and attentive.
Another major issue was cleanliness. After returning home, I found cockroaches in my belongings and had to leave everything outside to avoid bringing an infestation into my house. This was very frustrating and unacceptable.
In addition, everything at the hotel was extremely expensive. Even a natural juice cost $5. To make matters worse, my cousin, who was staying in a different room, was asked to pay $15 for a stain on a towel. We felt that this charge was excessive and unnecessary.

Overall, the experience did not meet our expectations, and we would not choose to stay here again.

I genuinely recommend people to stay at this place when visiting cap Haitian, starts with the beautiful mountain view look over the city, to the helpful passionate staff members 24/7, beautiful amenities. Courtesy breakfast from 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. you pay for lunch and dinner amazing food by the way. Good drinks at your service The pool, beautiful garden. They have car services available to pick up and drop off from and to the airport. They also have salsa classes that take place there if interested. I RATE THEM 9 /10

The physical appearance of the hotel does not match the photos on the site at all. I had to go down to the reception twice between 9hpm and 10hpm so that air conditioning could be available. However, the hotel staff is amazing!

I had a very disappointing and unacceptable experience at this hotel. In the middle of the night, I woke up to find my bed and clothes completely soaked because rainwater was leaking through the ceiling. No guest should ever have to deal with something like this while sleeping.

On top of that, the loby washroom and my room was dirty, the bed was creaking constantly, and the bathroom was absolutely disgusting. The overall condition of the room shows a serious lack of cleanliness and maintenance.

This hotel clearly does not meet basic standards for guest comfort or safety. I strongly advise others to avoid staying here until major improvements are made.

The stay was good overall. But there were some miss comunication from the staff that welcomed us on arrival. He didnt give any explanation regarding the hotel or where the pool was, what time the AC run everyday, what time they serve breakfast from and when it ended.

There were some mices in the room wifi wasn't working well, and TV channels weren't working.

Customer service is zero . Tv is not working, you called them, they don’t care. My flight was changed , that I arrived earlier than expected , asked for accommodation, they again don’t care, 5 hrs waiting for a room. They took so much time to prepare a room. Then, the food is very expensive, they gave just a little of it. The menu is terrible because the food is very rare , no rice, you have to wait for them to go do it while you are very hungry. Room was perfect.

The mattress was too low and very uncomfortable. The hotel did not pay its cable bill, and as a result, there was no television access for two days. Every time I made a purchase at the restaurant or the bar, the staff told me they did not have change and kept my change. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

I did not want to stick around to find out. I was stuck at the airport for hours and enede up spending $200 to get to the top of the mountain which was dangerous. The taxi slam into a wall. The young lady in charge kept hanging up on my fiance when she was asking them to pick me up. The staff was rude. I was hungry, ordered a meal from tne restaurant which I never received. I was told to go to my room and they would deliver and never did. I'm failing for words to describe this horrific experience. Needless to say, I will stay away from that part of Cap Haitian.

It’s unfortunate that I have to submit such a review for a haitian hotel that should be among those that I have already visited and that show effort to improve service quality on a daily basis.

I made a reservation via Orbitz for a superior room, with “Sea view”. When I went there, the receptionist gave me something like a jail room without any view, on anything. After visiting it, I went to her to complain about the room, since it was not what I made the reservation for. I showed her my reservation confirmation email, where the details were clearly mentioned. She agreed that the reservation was correct, but told me that she cannot give me anything else, since what she gave me was what her administration told her to do.

I was so surprised and chocked that I made the decision to leave the property immediately and without asking for any reimbursement for the night cost and even for the shuttle to the airport that I’ve paid for in advance. It’s a shame that a property used some organizations like Orbitz, Booking.come, you name it…to promise what they cannot deliver.

I’m saddened that this happened and for sure, will never return over there anymore, neither recommend it to friends and family members.

I had a great stay and wished that I had stayed longer. The views of the city were spectacular and I highly recommend you take photos of the sunrise over the city. The food was excellent and reasonable. The new owner was a delight to talk to and he informed me that all of his electricity comes from a generator since the city does not provide it. Like everywhere in Cap Haitien, constant A/C is not possible so there are times from around 8:00 pm until the morning when it works well. This hotel is a colorful oasis on the hill and a great place to drink a beer and look out over the city. It is a steep grade up the hill but I walked up and down it and enjoyed to e beautiful murals. I highly recommend staying at this hotel!

The facility requires some cosmetic support; the rooms don’t do justice to the booking pictures found online, and the pool was still not available during my entire stay. Meals were affordable. Breakfast choices were good. Friendly drivers, very helpful and respectful. The dining room staff can benefit from customer service skills. Overall, it was a safe and affordable space to escape to and shelter from the chaos in Port-au-Prince.

If you are driving there’s no way to bring a car on top of hill , I have to rebook for another hotel because it unsafe to drive on top of that hill , the road is so narrow, don’t wast your and your money, nothing you see on the website is real , when I get there I was surprise . The main thing is I did reserve a room with double Beds , someone from the hotel ask me how many people will be sleeping in the room , I ask him why do you ask , he answered if you are by yourself you don’t need two bed , I said I already pay for that room he said he there’s not matter . I went there for sure , for my safety I chose not to stay there . Please people don’t go there . It’s up to you ! Don’t say someone warns you!

Check in was quick, staff was very nice.

Not all room are same but we got lucky and got a spacious room with a large balcony. Room had a ceiling fan and a floor fan which were very helpful until generator is turned on at 6:00pm for A/C. Note this is basically standard practice at all hotels in CAP.

Restaurant is not fancy but has excelIent food and a great view to town. I had a beef \"tassot\", it was really good and portion was plenty with rice and plantains.

Not walkable to any of the main restaurants on the boulevard but the hotel has a few drivers available. They also offer pick-up or drop-off to airport for $30 each way.

I think they could add more activities for clients to enjoy their stay without having to leave the hotel. The pool was not available to us. I am disabled and the best room they had was 65 stairs to climb which is nowhere on the website. I asked for another room and there was non available. A young man assisted me up but due to being so high up I could not even go down to eat anything. I had to spend the rest of the evening and morning in room with no access to food. I did not see any free breakfast when I finally went down the next day to check out. I feared something could happen to me and no one would know. This is important information to disclose especially for Disabled and Elderly. : (

I arrived around 12pm but my room was not ready. The street to get to the hotel is very narrow and dangerous. Two cars can't cross. There is space for one car only on that road. The lady at the front desk was extremely nice. But I didn't have the chance to see the room. I had to climb at least 95 steps to get to my room where the heat was terrible and only fans were available in the room. Not having A/C in the Caribbean isn't an option. I haven't showered yet nor taken a breakfast. I am so disappointed that I had to write the review before even trying anything else. I also have serious doubts about the cleanliness of the room.

We had the most spectacular view all around, with incredible sunrise and sunset. The grounds felt welcoming, being surrounded by beautiful trees and shrubs. Their best asset though is the staff who continuously put their best foot forward and willing to make all feel comfortably at home.

Second time at this hotel in 3 mos and they remembered preferences we had at the restaurant, greeted us by name, etc....

The only complaint was the lack of punctuality twice now with the shuttle. I gave a time to pick us up and both times we waited over 30 min with luggage in the hot sun at the Cap Haitian airport. This is not a huge problem for me, but if I did not speak Creole I would possibly feel uncomfortable. Also, it is sad to see shuttle drivers from other hotels with their little signs getting other people while you stand in the street and wait and wait and wait. Not a great first impression.

You can't drive all the way up to the property, the only solution is to get a taxi moto.
The staff at the bar/resto are horrible! I went there to order some food, it's as if I were invisible. When I finally got their attention and ordered my food (the steamed fish) they told me it would be ready in 30mins.
An hour and 10mins later, I was still sitting there waiting on my food. They haven't even given me an update or anything. When I went there and asked for an update, she went to the kitchen and checked, and apparently, the food was just sitting there; nobody brought it to my table, as if I was supposed to go get my food in the kitchen. When it was finally served it was just cold as ice, and I mean everything: the fish was cold, the sauce was coagulated, the fried plantains were cold and hard, and so was the rice. They charged me US$32 for some cold ass food and some of the worst service I've ever received in my life. Say away from this place!!!!
