We only has an overnight stay including dinner. A very comfortable and well located hotel. A short downhill walk to the centre of Pitlochry which was buzzing. Dinner and breakfast were excellent. The hydro was well worth a visit, and demonstrates how we should all manage green energy. The fish ladder at the hydro was fascinating.

The hotel was neat and tidy, and has a lovely view from the entrance. The building is set back from the road and at night the entrance to the driveway is very dark and unlit. Upon arriving I walked up from town and passed right by it on the opposite sidewalk as I wasn't able to see the signage.
The room was nice, however, this time of year you'll need to turn on the radiator heat in your room as it wasn't set up ahead of time.
The staff was very friendly and assisted in booking a taxi upon check out.

A lovely family-run hotel. We stayed in the Junior Suite, which had an excellent superking bed, and plenty of storage space. The ensuite was spacious and clean, as was the shower. Water pressure for the rainfall shower was a bit of an issue.
The seating area was good with a table and chairs, as well as a sofa for two. The TV was a good size but the remote control needed a refresh. A fridge would have been welcome in the suite.
However, overall, it made for a very pleasant stay.
Breakfast was excellent. There was a great choice and the food was well cooked and presented. They had different portion options too, so you did not have to over-eat.
Overall, we had an excellent stay.

Room was clean & spacious & excellent view from my room. Plenty of tea & coffee etc & shortbread.. Pet friendly which is great. They even cooked a sausage for my dog & made a fuss of her. Was only staying one night on route, would have liked to stay longer. Staff excellent& so friendly. The drinks at the bar area are reasonable price. Only 4 mins or so walk from the train station. Wod defo stay here again. So peaceful& the back garden area has lovely views.

The staff were very frienfly and helpful. The bedroom was spacious and very quiet even though we were a shrtwalk from the main dhopping area. Quality of the food was outstanding as was the service.The hotel has a lovely peaceful outside sitting area with lovely views. I can confidenty say that out of the many hotels we have stayed in this is one of the very best.

The property was nice and close to town with lots of shop and places to eat. The room was very warm and the windows didn’t open up very far so was quite stuffy for sleeping in, but everything else was good. The breakfast was very nice and the staff were friendly

Lovely stay at the Rosemount hotel in Pitlochry for some November hikes in the Cairngorns. The staff were lovely, in particular Phie was very friendly and attentive for all our breakfast servings. Delicious and hearty breakfast every morning with decent variety.
The room was very cosy with just enough space to dry our wet hiking clothes when we needed. The water pressure in the shower was poor but a good excuse to have a decadent bubble bath!

Room very small. No heating 1st night, moved to other room and heating in en-suite wouldn’t turn off!! Showers just a trickle of water. Bar facilities closed before 9 pm ( think they were short staffed.) Poor choice at breakfast and ran out of what I’d ordered for one morning

A little disappointed with breakfast. we weren't advised we needed to put a time on the breakfast order that we would arrive in the dinning room, this meant we had one hour to wait till we were served our cooked breakfast. we were all disappointed with the breakfast with the burnt potato scone to half portion of black pudding and haggis.

Great few days and very dog friendly. Decor a bit dated but clean, warm and very comfortable. Big bathrooms, plenty of room in suite, comfy bed. Food excellent, great choice for breakfast and reasonably priced evening meals, food piping hot and home cooked. Sophie loved her sausage for breakfast. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Definitely be back, a wee gem of a hotel

Only issue was that my room window looked out onto another building window so was worried about being seen and also the nar and restaurant area are a little tired but overall was good stay, comfy beds an nice views made it.

We were made to feel very welcome by the friendly and helpful owners and their wonderful staff. We had a very comfortable room with lovely views from our window. Lots of choice for breakfast ordered by email the day before so as to be freshly prepared on arrival to your table in the morning. I was a little disappointed as I had travelled 8 1/2 hours to get there only to be given a room at the back of the hotel. Which I suppose if that’s what’s left however the corridor leading to the room spell really bad. The noise from the room above me was unbelievable I could here every movement by them and their dog as well as the toilet and shower I had to wear ear plugs to get to sleep which I didn’t get much of as the bed was very hard. As I say I was very disappointed as I was really looking forward to my stay but I suspect I was put in the room at the back on the ground floor with not much of a view as I was a Solo traveller.

This is a lovely family run hotel. We had 2 rooms booked and it was just us on the first night. The staff were lovely, nice and chatty, without being overbearing. Nothing was too much for them. I look forward to booking again for next year

Cons: Smallish room, WiFi wasn't working, got charged extra when I accidentally put one person for a double room instead of two, generally an old property.

Wonderful - a beautiful welcoming hotel. Immaculately clean, calm soothing decoration + soft furnishings. Anne and Victor were so welcoming and could not have done anything more to ensure our stay was perfectly comfortable. The breakfast were amazing - a beautiful cold buffet with nuts, museli, cereals, fresh fruit available. The cooked breakfast was cooked to order and arrived timeously and hot. Our evening meal was likewise freshly prepared and our request for extra greens was met. We would like to visit again and would have no hesitation in recommending to family and friends.

Rosemount Hotel is a charming place whose host, Anne, is very cheerful and helpful. Breakfast was served in a pretty dining room and the service was very good. My room was clean, of adequate size, but a little pricey. There are lots of steps, no elevator. Pitlochry town center is within walking distance.

Staff was really good and helpfull, however the overall condition of the hotel doesn’t justify the room rate. Room was really small, with scratch and damage all over the place. The bed was not very comfortable, and the duvet was too short for 2 people.
Location is nice, just 5 min walk from main road.

1 night Stay in Rosemount

Spent 1 night here as a stopover after attending event in local theatre. Good location for access to both the town itself and the theatre. Hotel was quite attractive, set back from the road and with sufficient offstreet parking. Check in was a breeze and we were shown our room by the receptionist, who was friendly and helpful. We are familiar with Pitlochry so didn't need any of the wealth of information available on the area.

Room was a fairly decent size with good ensuite, although shower pressure was not huge, still it was sufficient. Breakfast was very good with wide choice of hot and cold foods.

Comfortable hotel with a great breakfast!

We stayed at the Rosemount basically to shelter from heavy rainstorms further south, but were pleased to find the hotel to be clean and tidy, and the staff to be very pleasant and welcoming. We really didn't spend much time in Pitlochry overall as we were on our way from Inverness back to Glasgow and just stopped for the night. Our room was comfortable, if a little lacking in electric outlets as you'd expect with an older property. The wifi was also rather intermittent due to the signal being provided from the lobby area. However, the breakfast was fantastic, beautifully cooked and well presented.

The only draw back was that there was no drawer facilities in our room storage yes but no drawers(replace the bedside tables with drawers problem solved )

Great location, great staff...the manager Anne is a sweet heart and goes above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable. The rooms themselves are pretty small. The bathroom shower was so tiny my husband couldn't fit in it...he is 6'3. Breakfast was great. Close enough to walk everywhere.

I enjoyed staying at this hotel very much the warm welcome of the owner, the good food and the excellent and attentive staff. The hotel is in a quiet position yet central for all that Pitlochry has to offer. This is a dog friendly hotel and there where 7staying, all very well behaved and quiet. Being a dog owner I know the upset and cost of putting a dog in Kennals so to find a hotel that really welcomes them was great, I shall recommend it my friends and family. One last thing, Chicago in the Pitlochry Theatre was of West End standard.

We only stayed for a night and the hotel was clean and the service was friendly. It was an easy walk to everything in Pitlochry - it's not a very big town.
Our room was small, but the bed was comfortable and the tea and coffee making facilities were good.
Breakfast was good, it was cooked to order. Better than a lukewarm buffet in my opinion. The owner served us that morning and was very entertaining. The only criticism that I would make is that we were all told to sit at the tables nearest the kitchens - presumably to make serving us easier, or possibly to make it friendlier with us all sitting close to others. The tables by the windows with a view were out of bounds. We heard a few mutterings about this when the owner was out of earshot.
