Overall the hotel is average. Rooms are small and we could not walk around our room without ducking on the 4th floor due to the walls sloping inward. Additionally, the cable tv barely worked and the tv would go in and out. When you walk into the building we stayed in, you have to take a stairway up to the first floor to get on an elevator. There was a funky smell to the building. A little like sewage or a dead animal, we aren’t sure.
The positives were that the room and bathroom were updated and clean. Location is decent.

We were on the top floor which was a renovated traditional garret. I suspect the rooms there are smaller than on the lower floors. This made the ceiling low at the edges of the room. Otherwise was excellent.

I loved this proximity of the hotel. Easy walk to Commercio square, Rossio Square and Alfama. Breakfast was very good with a variety of foods. Very friendly, helpful service. My husband felt the A/C was very noisy and rattling at night. We could also easily hear people walking above us.

We had a great stay at Rossio Plaza Hotel. The hotel is nice, compact, very clean, and the location is absolutely unbeatable — right in the heart of Lisbon and perfect for exploring the city on foot. Just be prepared for European-style smaller spaces and rooms. Amenities-wise it’s very basic, but that wasn’t a problem for us since we were out and about most of the day anyway. It’s probably not the best option for families with kids, but it’s perfect for solo travelers or couples. Definitely recommend for anyone wanting a comfortable and very central place to stay

The staff were very friendly, helpful and accommodating. We were upgraded free of charge, which was a lovely surprise. Very clean and modern hotel. Location is the best! Superb! A few steps to the left of the hotel was the famous elevator, a few steps to the right of the hotel, was Rossio square with lots of little huts with music, drinks, food and crafts to purchase, and the location was close and within walking distance to the hop on hop off buses. Both red grey line and yellow buses!

The hotel itself was spotless, modern, and very comfortable. The location is unbeatable—right in the city center, making it easy to walk to everything, from restaurants to shopping and attractions.

The service, cleanliness, and attention to detail truly made this stay memorable. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Lisbon, especially if you’re celebrating something special!

We so enjoyed our stay, central to all main sights in Lisbon, tram, and train station to Belem, and Cascais-no need for an Uber, if you don’t mind the steep hills. Thank you for the staff who kept the hotel and our room so meticulously clean. Breakfast was a plus to start our days in beautiful Lisbon. When we arrived early our room was available so we could get freshened up and settled before starting our day - a huge plus! Our room was quite small, but that is what we chose and there are other sizes available. Very nice bathroom. Everything is updated and clean so we didn’t mind.

Amazing location and comfy bed, plus great heating / cooling system in the room.

The lobby and stairwells had a bad smell. The rooms on the 4th floor of the second building have extremely slanted roof, which made it very difficult to get around the room and spend time in. My partner (he is 6 feet tall) even bonked his head a couple times and I nearly did as well (I'm 5'5), which isn't great. I imagine rooms on the lower flows don't have such a slanted roof, so may be better? We only stayed for one night, so overall it was fine but would not recommend the rooms on the 4th floor.

In my opinion, these rooms should be further discounted given the how low the roof is and how much of an inconvenience / slightly dangerous it can be.

We had an enjoyable stay at the hotel. The staff were always friendly and happy to answer questions. The lobby and room were clean. We had an issue where every time we showered, there would be a large pool of water forming on the floor presumably from water leaking through the glass shower door. This wasn’t a huge concern, as it could be wiped and not return until the shower was used again. However, the main downside to the hotel was the lack of sound insulation. We could hear doors closing, toilets flushing, and voices traveling through our room from early morning to night.

The location was great. But lobby was tonight and our room was located in another building close by. Room had a nice bored. But was noisy with music until 11:15 pm. It served our needs for a two night stay. The staff was friendly and stored our luggage until mid afternoon even though we checked out in the morning. I would definitely consider staying here again.

The stay was generally straightforward, with a few positives and some service and comfort issues.

The hotel is centrally located and convenient for getting around. It is also easily accessible by public transportation from the airport; had this been clearer in advance, we likely would not have reserved the hotel shuttle.

We arranged an airport shuttle through the front desk in advance and received confirmation. However, there was no indication that we needed to proactively contact the driver upon arrival. Our flight arrived early, and it appears the driver adjusted pickup timing based on external flight information rather than the itinerary we provided. Due to extended time in customs, we were delayed exiting the airport. By the time we reached the pickup area, the driver had already left and declined to return. The front desk noted the shuttle is operated by a third-party provider and that we were still responsible for the charge. While the front desk staff indicated they were “caught in the middle,” the interaction focused on justifying why the driver still needed to be paid rather than addressing the situation from a customer perspective.

Additionally, we requested coffee pods for the in-room machine, but they were never delivered.

One comfort issue was the street light directly outside the window, which allowed significant light into the room at night. The blackout drapes didn't fully block the light at the edges, making it difficult to sleep without an eye mask.

The room is clean and nice. Ours is on the fourth floor facing the santa justa elevator...very nice. The hotel is located at a convenient place with easy access to Rossio and Baixa-Chiado metro stations as well as Rossio train station. There are so many nice restaurants and shops in the vicinity. Re. facilities, there was no kettle in the room so we asked for one so that we could make tea ourselves. There were 4 coffee pods provided for the entire stay as they were not replenished after consumption. The same applied to the bottle water. The hotel could well be more generated on these fronts. Members of staff at the reception were polite and helpful. Shame that the lobby of the hotel is so small. Did not have breakfast in the hotel and so could not comment on this.

This hotel is very centrally located, no shortage of good restaurants and amenities nearby. My room was spacious, the bed was comfortable and staff are friendly overall. However, the hotel is incredibly loud and I didn’t get a restful night’s sleep once. My room was located on the first floor of the main wing near the stairs. While the renovations look great, there is little soundproofing from the stairwell or between rooms. I could hear showers/faucets being turned on next door or above me, toilets flushing, people talking, and any footsteps in the stairs or hallway felt like they were thundering through my room at all hours. The breakfast room located steps away from my room meant that kitchen noise would wake me up early in the morning (7am). When I requested a room change, I was told other options would have the same noise level or located in the hotel’s separate wing without front desk staff or an elevator. The breakfast was average, but convenient to have on site. Overall, I would not stay here again.

Superb hotel. Awesome location. Huge shoutout to Soraia. She was fantastic - her suggestion, directions, advice were very helpful. I traveled alone with my son and this hotel made it a great trip. Breakfast was lovely (my son thought the scrambled eggs were the best). Location is convenient to take the trams, and to the Rossio train station to go to Sintra. Short walk to Plaza de Commercial. We did a walking tour - meeting points are close by either in Rossio Square, or Plaza de Restauradoresor Plaza de Commefcial, All in all highly recommend this hotel.

Perfect location next to two beautiful plazas and within walking distance of the castle and the triumphal arch.
Staff are friendly, professional and helpful.
Miguel delivered a beautiful cake for my birthday and recommended a lovely restaurant for dinner.
The staff at check in and check out we're helpful and friendly and made the experience a pleasure. The custard tart and port at check in was much appreciated.
The lady on check out spotted my fellas Monty Python T-shirt which was lovely.

Great location, comfy room. The only issue I had was that I had no control of the thermostat in the room as it is controlled by the building. It was set to A/C and my room was freezing. I was given a space heater that worked well. I would recommend to the hotel to change this and give guests the option to control their own thermostat.

This was a great stay for the location alone and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again next time in Lisbon. Staff were excellent, friendly and knowledgeable. Our room was a little on the warm side and we were immediately provided a fan as soon as we communicated this to the front desk. Room was cleaned daily and beds were very comfortable. Again, we loved the location. Shopping and restaurants all around. Minutes walk to the waterfront, Alfama, Chiado or Bairro Alto and many main sites. It’s a simple 3 star hotel but a really nice one at that and excellent value for the nightly price.

The room was super clean and the shower was amazing! My only challenge was how small it was..tiny!! And the air never stayed on so it felt stuffy. I'd open the window but due to it's location, it was loud, so only had it open for a bit. Itvwas quiet with the windows closed.
