Ao chegar fui surpreendida que na minha Reseva não tinha a minha filha pequena, mesmo eu mostrando a minha reserva eles disseram que na deles não tinha e era o que servia, ou seja A minha e nada deu no mesmo, me colocaram no quarto minúsculo e com uma cama desmontável para minha filha, pagando uma taxa extra de 40 euros por dia isso porque ainda falei que estávamos ali para comemorar o aniversário dela e mesmo falando isso, entrou por um ouvido e saiu pelo outro, quanto apertado e aínda com barulho cedo das mulheres que arrumam, spa limitado e não pode utilizar quando prefere, só marcando e não tinha mais horários disponíveis, consegui um horário no domingo após o café da manhã, porém como faria se já teria que deixar o quarto??? Era pago por pessoa. O spa na parte da tarde somente privado quase 4x o valor da da parte manhã por pessoa.
A única coisa que valeu nessa nossa viagem foi o jantar do hotel, garçons super atenciosos e ainda levaram uma tortinha com parabéns para minha pequena.

Excellent view with amazing sunsets. Great location to visit thermal club and natural thermal spot. Staff were eager to help although the restaurant could use more staff at dinner. Waiters were very polite although overwhelmed. Visited 10 yrs ago and will likely come back again.

I will highly recommend this beautiful hotel to my family and friends, and I hope to return someday soon. The outstandingly helpful staff was gracious and gave me excellent assistance as a solo traveler. As I did not have a car, I needed to secure drivers from the train station pick up and to visit Cascate del Murino. We had a good stay at this hotel and the place was good value for money, however we had some issues at the swimming pool where (with plenty of guests not wearing the mandatory swimming cap) we were targeted by a “vigilante” resident that, in spite of himself spreading the ash of his cigar around the inside of the swimming pool, started yelling at us to wear the accessory.
The hotel should have the pool rules accessible, mentioning this at the time of booking and should also have smoking areas rather than allowing full ashtrays and smokers to be trying to enforce riles…

The property was amazing, the staff were the most helpful of all the places we visited in Spain and Italy on our trip. I didn’t know we needed a car to visit this area and transport was arranged and the owner himself picked us up and dropped us off for a reasonable fee. This is a must see area.

The hotel was very quiet and relaxing. The staff was very accommodating too. We enjoyed a bottle of prosecco and snacks on our balcony and enjoyed the sunset before having a lovely dinner in the dining room. The next morning we were surprised by the many breakfast offerings provided in the breakfast room. Only complaint is that the bed was fairly hard, but that seems to be the case in all the hotels we’ve visited around Italy. This was an enchanting little gem.

We like the view, the breakfast, the friendliness of the staff members, the comfort of our room and the surrounding area of the resort.

However, we did find a large section of spider web hanging from the top of our room. Also, it’s very difficult to get to the resort, but once you get there you’ll be able to enjoy it.

The property ad is lovely but getting there it was rundown, pool was green and unusable, hot tub was full of bugs. There were stink bugs everywhere, dirty water and insufficient air conditioning. Certainly not what is advertised. Staff was friendly but dinner was just ok. We would not come here again.

The area is stunning, and next time I would spent two nights, just to really rest and soak in the natural beauty. However, our experience here was a little disappointing. It could also be different cultural expectations that led to the disappointment, but when we saw a certain amount of stars to this hotel, we had an expectation in our minds that was not met. The restaurant for one, felt like a dining room facility in a retirement home. There was loud live music - a man playing a keyboard with demo drum sounds. When we entered the dining room, the entrance was at the front, and every table was facing the door, so all eyes were on us and it was so awkward. Breakfast portions were ridiculous. Bacon and eggs was a plate with maybe one scrambled egg and a quarter of a regular slice of bacon. I couldn’t believe it. The bacon was about the one of a thumb.

The spa was available for use for 140 euro per person for exclusive use for 90 minutes. I’ve been to much nicer spa areas that charged much less, though the saunas were great, but the overall ambiance felt like a public swimming pool. It honestly didn’t feel like a 140 euro experience. Not to mention, there were no cups for water in the room or things to eat. Maybe 30 or 40 each would be more appropriate.
So as I mentioned, next time I come to Saturnia, I would like to spend two nights, however, I would rather get a bnb of my own with a kitchen, or, go all in and stay at the luxury Saturnia resort down the road.

Loved this place. The staff was helpful and friendly. The views were amazing and the pool was awesome. The rooms were spacious and modern. They even had e-bikes for rent right there. It was one of the best places we stayed on our trip to Italy. Their restaurant is great and the owner was up there one night roasting chestnuts for everyone. Would stay there again. One of our favorite places!

The restaurant and staff was wonderful, very inviting and very delicious food. They didn't speak a lot of english but managed to provide a wonderful authentic dining experience. The restaurant is on the pricier side but well worth it. Good thing since this hotel is in the middle of nowhere, MIDDLE OF NO WHERE. Be prepared, have plenty of gas in your car, have any necessities from the real world you might need before heading out here. Gps/cell service doesn't work either. After making the journey out we got a rather cool greeting from reception and had to ask about amenities of the hotel such as information on the pool and sauna. We saw some rooms had spa robes but ours however did not, not sure if thats something you would have got at check in but it felt like pulling teeth finding out about and accessing the sauna facilities. The young girl working the spa desk was really nice and helpful. Reception the morning of checkout was also very kind and helpful, just got a cool reception upon arrival.

Setting is beautiful with stunning sweeping views all around with the wonderful Cascate del Mulino, the natural thermal pools, only an 8 minute drive away - perfect! Our room was spacious and very clean ... but the hotel was dated for our taste which is fine but worth a mention if you are looking for modern / contemporary! Breakfast was good - not extensive but a reasonable choice of items. All staff we encountered were friendly & helpful ... overall we had a comfortable & pleasant stay!

Near to Terme di Saturnia/Good Restaurant

We stayed here mainly to go to the nearby Terme di Saturnia - The hotel is about 5 mins drive away. The hotel itself also has 2 small indoor jacuzzi spas to use. It has a great adjoining restaurant. Although we had problems initially with wifi connection, it was sorted out and satisfactory after.

Great stay!

Great staff and beautiful hotel. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating. They hotel was clean and there were plenty of towels, pillows and toiletries. The restaurant connect to the hotel was fabulous! We loved the property it was perfect to walk around with our little one to explore. The spa was good, however they didn’t seem to have much technique in massage or facial. Not so relaxing but I enjoyed it none the less after a full week of travel with my little one.

Fantastic setting with amazing food

On the map it didn't look far but was 2 and a bit hours from Siena mainly because its in the hills way off any major roads. I enjoyed the drive but if your not a great driver it can be a challenge - don't forget the satnav as its quite literally in the middle of nowhere down a steep lane.

Once your in then prepare to relax. The staff were fantastic with excellent English which helped! The room was an average size with an nice bathroom (no bath just shower) - but what made the room was the view over hills. There is practically nothing other than hills in view with a terrace to watch the sunset.

Outside pool and garden areas are great when the sun is shinning but one of the best parts was the restaurant. We ate out a lot that week in Italy as some great restaurants but this was for me the best meal I had, probably ever had. Truffle gnocchi with a bottle of 414 wine, desert and all while watching the sun set. I thought it was very good value considering where we were and the quality of food. A bottle of wine at the table was starting at 20 euros (good wine as well), a glass in the bar 6 euros. There is a wine shop on site if you want to drink in your room on the balcony. I wish we had a few days here to relax, there isn't anywhere else to visit without a good drive up the hill, some local restaurants in town which are very local. Will be going back for a few days longer next time!

However, it is quite isolated and not fully operational until June.

Incredible views of Tuscany and two castle towns. Great service, excellent amenities and a good restaurant with well chosen wine list. Great area for exploring and visiting the stunning ( free ! ) thermal waterfalls less than 2km away. Extensive included breakfast buffet and very good rates.

Great place to spend a couple of days in Tuscany

Very nice hotel beautifully located in the middle of beautiful sothern Tuscany. The view from the hotel is fantastic. It really is like looking out over a fairy-tale landscape. Friendly staff, nice rooms and small but nicely arranged spa-section. For the price we paid for food we expected a little more though. The hot spring of Saturnia is located close by and bathing there in the themal waterfall was a special experince.

Most relaxing place I have ever been to

This hotel, Oh my goodness, was wonderrrfullll! After the hustle and bustle of Rome for a few days this was the perfect getaway. Unbelievable pool, incredible restaurant, sweetest people working there. I didn't speak very good italian and the woman at the desk was googling words so we could understand each other. It was just such a nice experience over all. Definitely off the beaten path, but totally worth it.

Great Place in the middle of Tuscany

We were going to stay one night and ended up staying three. The GPS cannot find it but just type Saturnia that is very close to town and there are signs showing the way as you get close to the city. There is a good restaurant at the Hotel but other good ones in the area. Its close also to the River where you can go for free and also park for free to the natural pools of sulfurous waters.

We were visiting Etruscan sites and walks and hotel well placed. Excellent help with finding bus times and flawless welcome. swimming pool still available outside and pleasant small spa not crowded at this season. Great breakfast flawless rooms and a good night's sleep. Price reasonable as low season so excellent value all round.

Nice hotel in a great location, very close to the thermal springs of Saturnia. The hotel pool overlooking the Tuscan countryside was very enjoyable to swim in. The only slight downside was the opening hours of the spa, which was closed during most of the day while we were there so we weren't able to make the most of the facilities.

This is a lovely hotel in the countryside. Serene, beautiful views, a short drive to the baths. The hotel staff could not nicer or more helpful. We thought we reserved a larger room to accomodate 3 (we were travelling with our teenaged son) but it seems we got a regular room with an extra single bed added so it was quite a tight space. That is the only (minor) complaint we had - otherwise the room was attractive, spotless and functional. We arrived late afternoon and starving from Rome airport - hours before dinner service but they bent over backwards to open the kitchen and bring us a delicious spread poolside. We had prosciuto and cheese, tuna over salad, etc. For dinner, the on-site restaurant was very charming - we sat on the veranda for dinner overlooking the valley - and the food was very good. Breakfast was suprisingly nice - a large airy room with plenty of options for a continental breakfast - with fresh squeezed orange juice, a coffee bar, tortes, pastries, hams/cheeses. We had a lovely time. one note - if you're coming from Rome your navigator will take you the shortest way - which includes plenty of dirt roads thru farms! We laughed a lot on the way but also weren't sure we were going the right way! It might be good to pick the right route based on paved roads!

An American in Italy

Tuscan country getaway - good base for exploring

My fiancé and I came here for a little weekend escape. The hotel is in a beautiful position on the top of a hill in the region of Saturnia - a remote southern Tuscan area. The room we had was small but we were happy since our rate was very reasonable, and we didn't spend much time in the room. the grounds and pool are very pretty, as is the small spa area. the photos make it look like a destination spa, which it isn't but the treatments we had were good and the sauna/steam room/Jacuzzi area sufficient and a nice perk. Many people use this hotel as a base to explore the area and the Cascatelle di Saturnia and/or Terme nearby, which is a good use. the nearest town is Saturnia, about 10m by car (needed for this area) and we ate at a fab restaurant - I Due Cippi or \"da Michele\" depending on which local you ask. So good we came back 2 consecutive nights. We also took a daytrip to explore Pitilignano (amazing, worth it), and absorbed the beauty of the countryside. I'm an American who is always on the go, but the area had plenty to see and do - so much so we look forward to visiting the area again. All in all the hotel has beautiful grounds, but the lobby décor and space doesn't scream luxury. We heard mixed reviews of the on-site restaurant, so we skipped it. The in room amenity products don't speak to a high end feel, but the real star here is the beauty of the area. I'd stay here again, but likely at a warmer time to take advantage of the very pretty pool area.

Good quality hotel worth more than its current rating of 2.5. Good quality room, met with very friendly service by staff at all times. Off the beaten track of many who head to northern Tuscany instead nowhere near any major road. Geared to adults needing a break.
Good walking to be had in the location between hilltop towns. Good quality spa services. Able to book massages on the day of arrival. Good restaurant with knowledgeable staff offering quality food and wines from the locality.

If there were changes to be made to the structure you'd want a pool you can use all year round.

Great hotel for a romantic getaway

Staying at this hotel was a perfect romantic getaway with beautiful views of the Tuscan landscape, the rooms were a little bit small but comfortable and the view from the nice balcony made up for the size of the room. The hotel is located on a hill about 10 minutes away from the Saturnia thermal springs which are a must see in the area. The pool and gardens surrounding the hotel provide an added touch to the views of Tuscan hills and valleys. The spa was rather small but very nice and well maintained. The only downside to this excellent hotel is that it is a little bit isolated and getting around without a car would be nearly impossible; although they offer numerous trip and excursion packages. Another highlight of the Hotel is the restaurant which is listed in the Michelin guide. The food was superb and the prices were not unreasonable as might be expected of a similar restaurant. Overall, great experience I would definitely stay here again

You need a car as the location is on a beautiful hill overlooking rolling green hills and countryside Breakfast was amazing. Local cheese, conducts, yogurt and homemade jams The pool and lounge area was very relaxing. A truly wonderful find in the Tuscan countryside. Commanding and lovely view. Plush, but clean-lined and stylish rooms. Lush grounds. Incredible olympic-length swimming pool. Copious, nutritious, and delicious breakfast buffet. Attentive, but respective staff. Loved this hotel.

New hotel with traditional charm

We came acroos this hotel on Expedia and planned it a s a gap filler for a few nights before we could find a vacancy at other accommodation we had planned to visit. It turned out to be a wonderful hotel. New with new staff but with a management tha realy cared about getting things right or, of they could perfect. The setting , near the Spa town, looks over the Tuscan plain, to the Campaniles of Saturnia. there is a welcome gentle breeze across the swimming pool where you can lounge quietly all day long. The restaurant, perhaps slighly pricey( but that's more the fault of the Euro, serves some wonderful food ona covered terrace under a starlit canopy. Breakfast Buffet style has every combination of the Eupophile breakfast. Cake, fruits, cereals, meats and cheeses. Our room, airconidtioned, was one of the cheapest, not too spacious but perfectly adequate and spotlessly clean. The hotel deserves to do well

Beautiful Setting

Lovely views, even from in the pool! Spa in hotel but we did not use it. Pool fantastic, with well-stocked bar. This is a new, well-done hotel, set away from any large cities. Restaurant very good food and service, with stunning sunset view. Great for quiet retreat, and for base for touring the area.

outstanding hotel and low priced for a 4 star

this hotel is up in the mountains of tuscany and is beautifully decorated and very clean. I loved going to the bottom of the hill and going to the hot springs. Amust for honeymooners or golfers.

サトュルニア温泉訪問のため滞在。
欧州ではサウナがあっても料金が別のところが多いです。今回私は確認忘れていました。日本の方は注意してください。

ロケーションは素晴らしく、プールサイドでトスカーナの風景に癒されながら日課のストレッチを済ませました。素晴らしい時間でした。ヨガマットのレンタルがあればもっと良かったな。

一人旅なので宿泊できるリゾートというだけで最高です。
その上、ディナーのレストランが美味しくて、満足度が最高を超えました。

Hotel confortável. Recepção excelente. No meio de uma paisagem linda. Os quartos estavam limpos e era confortável. A decoração estio anos 90. Café da manhã bom com algumas variedades. O hotel tem spa mas não utilizei. Fica próximo às cascatas do Moinho entretanto é uma longa caminhada.
