For a simple affordable stay by the beach we could not fault this venue. The lady welcoming us was just so friendly. There is a restaurant right underneath that is super relaxed. The views of the beach from the upper level apartment we amazing. We could not fault this place.

A fantastic location for visiting the many local wineries and great nearby beaches. Beaches are across the street and many walkable a short distance. Great Sunsets. Rooms was large and kitchen well equipped. Jacqui the manager extremely helpful with plenty of excellent recommendations and local hints. Will definitely return.

The Coast Motel and Apartments

The Coast is well situated and the bedroom is quite roomy, the bathroom is in big need of an upgrade. It is a bit dark and pokey with very little room and a shower curtain, I thought they were extinct. There is a restauraunt on site and the meal was quite nice.

The COAST apartments are really really basic. They are right across the street from ocean access so that is very nice, I also did not have a car and it was a simple, mile long walk to a close by town center with coffee shops, bars, a few restaurants. The summer walk was nice in the AM, later in the day it was too hot. I know people come for beach access, but the facilities could definitely use updating. I personally would not stay again, although I don’t know what other more upscale options there are in the area. There was a sad 1980s vibe about the place and an all-cream room should not have a charcoal sofa!

Great value on the coast

Great location along coast, view from room and porch, across the street is bike/walking trail along the cliffs. Also playground and picnic area with gas grills. The room is spacious with kitchenette with freezer/fridge 4 burners so can stop at grocery store if you like. Nothing fancy or plush but totally comfortable with a loveseat and good beds. Husband uses a walker and there a small ramp for the 1 step and they provided chair in step in shower. Owner of hotel is super helpful and welcoming.

This property has spacious accommodation with a large fridge and stove top in addition to microwave facilities, toaster and kettle. Lovely view from upstairs apartment, fresh and clean, very comfortable bed. Has dining on site some days - good coffee! Across road from beach and close to shops, and beach to swim. Lovely restaurants close by in Port Noarlunga. Would benefit from more micrwaveable cooking dishes and another pan.

What a delightful treat in a local SA coastal suburb. Only 1 hour from the city and 10 minutes from cafes/restaurants and any shopping needs. The room furnishing was divine custom made furniture and complimentary final touches. The staff were super lovely and made the out of hours check in so seamless. Highly recommend to anyone needing a staycation close to home or a week away from the busy hustle and bustle of life!

Florieu peninsula trip

Beautiful property located opposite the beach. Friendly & helpful staff. We loved having our breakfast in the veranda overlooking the ocean (room 12 had the best spot to do this). To be perfect it needed a dishwasher otherwise very well equipped. Great base to see McLaren Vale, all the Florieu peninsula beaches and even a day trip to Adelaide if weather’s not so nice.

This property is located on the esplanade. Beautiful walks and scenery in each direction.
Magnificent place for sunset photos. Very handy having cafe for breakfast lunch or dinner attached to motel.
I was a little disappointed that the upstairs balcony was really a walway to rooms and you could not sit outsidet to enjoy the views.

What a find ! We loved the location near the beaches, the classy refurbishment by the owners, attention to detail and perhaps most of all, the very friendly welcome by Jaquie and her team.
Port Noarlunga is a wonderful location as the motel is located in a suburban area and is quiet. We had an ocean view studio which gave us great views . We were within 10-15 minutes drive of the wineries and close to the bike paths. Great also for walking.

Carol & i were warmly welcomed on arrival & told we had been upgraded to a recently renovated apartment! This was a total surprise & we were not disappointed.
The room was fabulous with separate dining area, breakfast bar & comfortable lounges where we took in the spectacular sunsets over the sea.
The room & shower area were clean & spotless. Even though we only stayed for 2 nights, to our surprise upon returning after a day visiting wineries the bed was made up & fresh towels adorned the B.R.
Thee . The proximity to beaches, restaurants & wineries is terrific. We had a super week end & will return again to explore some more.
