It was a very nice room in a seperate building at the back of the pub by the car park. It even had a small fridge as well as Kettle and coffee etc.
Very quiet, nice location.
Looks like a nice pub too but I didn't try it.

Great place to stay highly recommend

Lovely spacious room very clean seperate from the pub in an annexe .nice deep hot bath. Parking right outside. Very friendly staff and customers. Delicious food served at the bar.
There is an Indian restaurant onsite also which is open till 10.30pm Two pool tables in the pub. A very reasonable priced room would definatly stay again.

Shower head was disgusting although when we told the staff it was cleaned immediately unfortunately I didn’t notice until I was ready to get in it then had to get dressed again and wait for it to be cleaned. TV was tiny. Lamp didn’t work. Location was good for a night out for drinks in snaith

Loved the Indian restaurant within the pub, food was so flavourful best curry I’ve tasted, the rooms are in a separate building just off the back, so don’t worry about your room being tainted by curry odours. Pub does food as well which looked good, would definitely recommend

Rooms in annexe adjacent to pub which was good with adequate parking and lots of lical eaters and pubs around. Garge across road was handy also.
Rooms are basic but very comfortable all you need. Did not eat at pub so cannot comment on food but .did have drink there. Brewers up road aldo serve food. Nice sray.

The communal area was very dirty and the room was not much better either. It smelt very musty as did the bedding and towels. Although the building looks to have been built in the last 20 years, there is very little sound deadening and you can hear literally everything in the adjoining rooms (not great if you get a snorer as a neighbour!)

The only positives I could find was the Indian restaurant above the pub which was amazing, and the village itself seemed nice!

This is a lovely place and the staff are wonderful. Room was great, and I would have given an extra star however; the bathroom shower was awful. The grime and build up of mould and dirt was caked on the shower head and all around the seals. A spatula would have removed significant amounts of dirt cake. This should not have been allowed to build up, which would have taken months of neglect. I don't wish to offend, but this was a big problem which made me not want to shower, so I had a squaddie wash instead, at 5 in the morning before work, this is not great.

Accommodation was okay bed was clean but the bathroom was extremely dirty bleach works wonders but not in this case very disappointing didnt dare shower on 2nd day went home for a clean one. Staff and food in the pub was great but will not stay over ever again. I would post the photos of the disgusting bathroom but not able to.

Friendly and helpful staff, assistant manager very helpful, quickly sorted out a minor problem in the bathroom for us. Bed was a bit lumpy but we did sleep well. The meals in the dining area are excellent, great choice, great quality and generous portions! Good parking facilities and easy to book in.

Good price and easy to access. However, the window wouldn't open (a plug in fan would suffice), the taps wouldn't turn off (new washers?), the beds were soft and squeeky (need replacing) and the plastic soap dispenser was so old it fell off the wall to reveal mould underneath.
That said, we had fabulous pizza at the nearby Plough Inn!

Noise from upstairs. Really warm all night (it had been 24°C during the day). Little ventilation - sash window wouldn't stay open.

I was passing through the area and needed a cheap and cheerful place to rest my head for the night. This place was perfect. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The pub was open and serving food. The room was a bit tired, but it was clean. It is what they advertised, and I am happy with my stay there.

Nice pub, dusty room, noisy neighbours/locals.

Room was extremely dusty. It appeared it had been cleaned a long time ago and then not used for quite a while.
Other guests and people on the street were very noisy throughout the night.

The rooms were good but in some instances could do with a refresh. They contained everything you need. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There was a generator or kitchen extractor close to the rooms which was making a constant noise all night. There was an excellent Indian Restaurant upstairs in the pub but the acoustics were very poor and on Friday night one table of sixteen was making a terrible noise so be warned.

Had a warm and friendly welcome, the food is amazing with the added bonus of having the choice of eating in the bar or upstairs in the indian restaurant. Both are wonderful.

Lovely comfortable size bedfoom and bathroom, the walls are a little thin but thankfully the adjacent guests were courteous and respectful of others.

Not a bad little pub to stay in. Price for a double room was a reasonable price. I’ve stayed here 3 times and in different rooms. But the room that I stayed in this time the bed really does need a new mattress, extremely uncomfortable. In each of the room the showers could de with de-scaling.
There is an Indian restaurant attached to the pub which is really good. I didn’t eat in the pub restaurant. Bar staff and really friendly and helpful.

Everything was great. The pub is totally pet friendly and the young lady behind the bar was the perfect host. The cleaning staff were fabulous and really helpful. Because the weather was so hot, and the room had no air conditioning I would probably get an upstairs room next summer (or this!) because it was very warm at night!

Rooms were very basic but spotlessly clean.

The restaurant shuts at19:30 and although they do mention breakfast was available, I was told there was No breakfast in the morning. Unfortunately all of the eating places in the town also shut at 19:30 so if you are later in arriving or have an early starter you will struggle to eat.

we booked a non smoking king size room, however there was just one window, which has a bench just outside for smokers. there was snail trail on the carpet,
The on suite bathroom had no working fan, so all the condensation and smells have nowhere to go but in to the bedroom. the place smelt.
just outside there was very loud fan by the kitchen which was left on the whole night.
the bed quilt was 13.5 tog, (this is mid may). too hot to use and too cold not to use.
we had a terrible night. i do like to support small business but my advise is go somewhere else.

Easy to find. Warm welcome, friendly staff, lovely big ground floor room. Able to park outside. Evening meal was plentiful, well cooked and great value.
Only two downsides. Mould in bathroom needs addressing and mattress on double bed needs replacing, single bed was fine.

Happy for one night stop over

As we only booked the day before I dont think they were expecting us. The electric heater soon kicked in and warmed the place up but as it is a row of motel style rooms opening directly from the car park, there was a draft through the door.
The pub itself was inviting enough and we waited there with a drink for the room to heat up.

Nice room clean bedding and plenty of towels only stayed one night as we were attending a wedding at the Carlton Towers which is just up the road.Easy check in and the young lady behind the bar directed us to the car park which is behind the pub next to the accommodation.Lovely little village plenty of pubs and a lovely bakers just accross the road. Would definitely use again if in the area.

1 night room 8. Checked in at rhe bar. Pub looked nice tidy clean. Went to room. 1 thing to say. Dont stay. I have never stayed in the most dirt room EVER. Mens face hair from shaving ALL over the top of the sink. Hair in bath plug. And not just a strand. Dont think ever cleaned. Towels of odd colour thrown on a shelf. The bed sheets and toilet were clean. And thats all we touched. Mugs were full of dust. Jug just yuk and dirty. Abd wasn't even a cheap night. Food in the pub was nice. Curry restaurant up stairs. The photos show the dirt.
