Okay for the price

The hotel is perfectly located near all the restaurants and bars but far enough so that you don't hear all the music at night. Beds are not very comfortable and the bathroom was a bit dirty, but I guess you get what you pay for..

Awful

As bagpackers we were on a budget so stayed at Harmony House (in the most expensive room) and we did not enjoy our stay one bit. The water in the shower smelled awful. The light in the bathroom didn't work. We woke up covered in bites. The view from the window was basically a dump site. It was located in a very smelly area. Don't know how safe the "safety deposit box" at reception is as it's just a plastic bag in a locker that only staff have access to.... ! !
I would avoid this place if you can.

cheap and cheerful

OK for a budget hotel but a lot of noise from nearby rooms and cafe. No nightclub noise as set far enough back. Beautiful island but it's drains are lacking and I think the smell will be similar in all bathrooms not just this hotel

Worth it's money. Quiet but...

We booked so called deluxe :D. The main difference of such room is that it faces the street. The rooms on the other side looks to "beautiful garden" which is huge stinky sewage sump.
The staff was very friendly, basik american breakfast was so-so. We stayed 4 nights and never saw any signs of cleaning in our room, asked to change towels and they did it immediately. The ac worked fine, water pressure and heater were very good. This guest house is situated not far from the beach but location is very quiet. So I give 4/5. Wifi is awful like everywhere on phi phi.

Affordable and comfy

It was in a quiet location not to near all the bars and restaurants, the room was very spacious and clean! Overall it was very good, I would stay here again!

Basic value accom

Not sure that they were ready for us at check in, however it all ran pretty smoothly. Busy time of year, and brekky was included and not at all bad for budget a commotion.

Get better quality rooms

We stayed in a basic fan room which was fairly grim. The room was clean when we arrived but there was no maid service (stayed 5 nights). The room was really hot and stuffy so would recommend getting an air con room if possible. We also spent one night in a slightly better fan room which was better, so may be worth getting these.
The room was small and the bathroom in particular was very tired with no hot water.
Breakfast was only two pieces of toast and the staff in the restaurant you go to are quite rude.
Location is not bad, it's away from the pier (10mins) and about 5 minutes from the beach so you can sleep okay - though walls are VERY thin!!
If you do stay here there is a great little restaurant called hello my mom just down the road!

Mediocre All Around

- Location is nearby the viewpoint, BUT far from pier and beaches. Still only 15 min walk, but everywhere else is way closer to the action.

- Even away from the main party streets and restaurants, it is still loud at night here. Idiots screaming and blasting music until 4AM. Not good if you're trying to dive the next morning.

- Staff was alright, but they didn't really go out of their way to help and were slightly confused of any requests for food or transportation. As if no one had ever asked about ever getting a pushcart to the pier.

- Cheap(er), but you can do better.

Don't stay in this hotel

Room was extremely hot, internet didn't work, breakfast was just a piece of toast. If you wanted hot water in your room you had to pay 400+ baht more. Only stay here if you plan on being out of your room for everything but sleeping (but even then, its so hot that sleep is nearly impossible)

The room was tiny and cramped. It was super hot, and the tiny fan did little to remedy this. The bathroom was outdated and poorly ventilated. I am used to staying at cheap places, but I am not sure I would book here again.

Convenient and good value

Decent for the price - nothing exceptional and not havin sitcom wasn't ideal, but given the low price, it is value for money. Bed was actually very comfortable.

Expectations were met, but just had a realistic expectation upon arrival.

Do not recommend

Rooms are very uncomfortable. Promised aircon was blowing only hot air. Water pressure in the shower is very low. Recommend you to bring the toiletries if you decide to stay.
Location is nice, close to the beach. Not so noisy, the only noise in the night might be the drunk neighbors.
The quality is not worth money they are asking.

a bit out of the way but value for money

The Hotel was a bit of a mission to find but when we did, we found it to be adequate. Everything we needed for a pleasant stay.
