Room was average for a Hilton. Pillowbwere excellent but the bed was hard. TV was only slightly bigger than a portable ana didn't accept my fire stick so unable to watch iPlayer etc. Poor really when you consider the cost of the rooms. Pricea in the restaurant for food was over the top. 22.50 for a steak pie is obscene. I stay for work and they pay. But I wouldn't if I was paying

The food options were good but a bit pricey for average quality. There were a lot of extra supplements on top of the meal prices.

The beds are comfortable and rooms modern and clean.

This is our go to hotel when I bring my daughter up to visit her family , everything about this hotel I love. The staff are super friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. The breakfast is delicious with so much choice. The lay out of the hotel is great. Rooms are modern and clean and comfortable. The view of the racecourse is an added bonus. I don’t follow horse racing but I live the view.

Crafting weekend

Overall we had a great couple of days stay, despite not able to get disabled park spot for my mum on the first day of our stay, plus I requested a room close to the lift at the time of the booking to my mum life a little easier for her, instead we more or less had the same room as last year. On the up side we didn’t have to pay for parking.

Convenient for racecourse - slow to check in and unable to get any food as fully booked even though empty tables - which was ok as we went to a local place and ate which was delicious

Drinks over priced and no water in the room you have to buy it from reception! Think 2 bottles complimentary in the fridge would be a nice touch as rooms aren’t cheap

It was okay. We had a room with the racecourse view but the smell coming out of the drain was very very bad. Made me feel unwell the whole night. The staff were very nice and we didn’t tell them about it until the next morning as the smell didn’t start until 1 or 2am and we didn’t want to change our room in the middle of the night.

Everyone will tell you about the smallish car park, but the hotel is clean, quiet and with an enviable position. It has well trained, polite and cheerful staff. My only problem was my mobility problem. Climbing into the bath for a shower was awkward for me.

I’ve stayed a number of times and always been happy but this stay was different. There was an event on which completely ruined our meal as the noise was crazy. We literally couldn’t hear each other speak…it was extremely overwhelming. If anyone had warned us we would have ordered room service instead.
The music from the party/event was so loud it was pumping through the hotel which meant we couldn’t sleep. Again, if I’d been warned I would never have booked to stay. I switched from premier inn to the Hilton for my frequent visits to Doncaster as the rooms are so much better however after my most recent stay I’ve decided to switch back as it feel like profit of a party was definitely prioritised over the guests actually staying in the hotel. Really disappointing

Was ok stopped last year and had a much better stay this time.we had loud music until half 12 at night and drunks running up the hallway banging on the doors late into the morning and pillow wernt that great really thin so was hard to get to sleep so we were quite tired this morning

The location, cleanliness of room and service from the staff was good. However felt let down and disappointed as neither my husband and l didn’t experience a good night sleep. Every movement made turning or sitting on the bed it creaked the whole time. The room was designed for a wheelchair assisted person. We are able bodied people. It was brought to staff on duty attention an apology given and reassurance was given it would be addressed. An additional made by the staff member implied because the booking was made through Expedia that’s why we were given this wheelchair access room which was not appropriate explanation because no such request was ever made.

Awful stay

Terrible stay in a hotel that i ordinarily enjoy.

I visit family in Doncaster 3-4 times a year and always stay here

This time there I was constantly woken by drunk people running and shouting in the corridors. Smell of cannabis so strongly in the corridor outside my room that I had to put a towel to block the door to the room

I was woken at 2am, 4:30 by loud drunk people. Then someone knocked on my room at 8am

According to reception 60 people turned up and booked last minute rooms late on sat night - they clearly fancied a hotel party 😆

Room was also not great this time. Safe wouldn’t work and sink wouldn’t drain - the cleaner clear knew this as she left the whole plug unit on the side of the sink!!

Will probably have to try somewhere else next time as I now have to drive 4-5 hrs in a couple of hours sleep (which defeated the point of paying for a hotel!)

Easy to access to car park then hotel parking cost overnight £5 a real goid price check out friendly and quick even being a major race day bar area comfortable with outside access right against the running rail room clean with high modern furnishings.
We are a couple in our 60s but like pubs and music we got a taxi in to high street at 6 and there were packed pubs with people of a similar age dancing and having a great time the place was banging and we dont want to wait until 11 or 12 to find somewhere to have a dance and crack.
