Large room. Couldn’t use any kitchen items. All were very dirty and greasy. Strange layout that didn’t suit us as bedrooms were upstairs bathroom room and toilet was downstairs. Would not have pre booked that room had we known. Cannot fault location and even though it was across from marina and ferry it was quiet

The room had everything we needed. Patio overlooking the water was fabulous. Quiet and relaxing location. Very close to the Raymond Island ferry - excellent spot to see koalas in the wild. Ferry free for foot passengers.

Room was clean and spacious. Unfortunately the fan in the loft bedroom was not working but staff replaced it with a floor fan. It was the hottest time to be in Victoria, 40c. So the unit was very hot. Power outage for 3 hours due to fires in Victoria.

Room opposite the lake was beautiful. It was so quiet. It was exceptionally clean on the inside. Check-in was easy checkout was great. There was a sign on the wall that says that there was some work happening early in the morning but it wasn’t too bad but noted that this was not written anywhere other than on a sign in the wall or mentioned that check-in.

Great hostel with access to grassy area for BBQ

Amazing location with beautiful back garden & access to private jetty. Garden and outdoor facilities such as relaxing chairs facing the water, BBQ, picnic tables and grassy area are all very well maintained.

Internal windows only have blinds which allow sun to light the room in the morning. A little inconvenience if you would like to sleep in during your stay at the hotel. Carpets also have stains and dont feel clean so we were wearing our indoor slippers all the time.
Apart from those, we enjoyed our stay and will come again next time. Thank you for hosting us during our Easter holiday.

We LOVED this motel so much we cut short our Melbourne trip to come back for another night. It's perfect for taking care of my 85 yo mum while I take her on a holiday away from the nursing home. The room and bathroom access was very safe from any falls and had excellent amenities. It's worth taking the extra miles away from A1 and also taking the morning over to the island by ferry. At 85 my mum finally saw koalas in the trees. We will be back! Thank you.

This was a return visit to Mariners Cove, and our first in the superior apartment. We love the property's location and enjoyed this spacious, very comfortably furnished apartment. The combined toilet/shower/laundry is downstairs, while both bedrooms are upstairs - a detail that wasn't clear in the listing, and while mildly frustrating for us, could be problematic for others. Wifi in the apartment seemed unable to support the streaming apps on the TV and cleaning in the bathroom was incomplete, but overall we enjoyed our stay and would be happy to return.

This property was amazing and extremely affordable. Usually for the price I would have expected your 1980s motel feel, but this property seems to have been updated. It has a modern feel and I could even smell new carpet smell. It was absolutely perfect and right on the water. Honestly, the best motel I've stayed at. We had a ground floor unit that still had a great view of the canal and the marina. The unit was spacious and clean and we had a good nights sleep.
The receptionist gave us a great welcome and her suggestion to catch the ferry (free for pedestrians) to Raymond Island to see the Koala’s meant we saw at least 6 Koala’s during our 1 hour walk there. Enjoyed our stay at Mariners Cove.
