Breakfast was delicious! The food choices were fresh, presented in a pleasing fashion and real dishes to eat from!!! We were thrilled not to eat cold, processed food served on styrofoam!!! Staff was very friendly giving direction to an excellent family owned restaurant. Parking was on site and safe. Our stay was very enjoyable and relaxing. I would highly recommend this facility.

The Lodge is charming with a big fireplace and comfy seating in the lobby. The complimentary breakfast is delicious, with eggs, potatoes and sausage plus yogurt, breads, bagels and cereal and coffee, tea and fruit juices. The location on main street is perfect to walk the charming streets of Wellsboro. The rooms were clean and everyone is small town friendly. Highly recommend!

Clean, quiet, spacious, and comfortable room, polite staff, and good breakfast provided. The kitchenette had adequate plates, cups, and utensils. Our room was listed as handicapped but other than the door access button and bar in the tub, it didn’t appear to be handicapped accessible. We did not use the heated pool. The lodge was a short, easy walk to area businesses. The comfortable lobby was beautifully decorated for Christmas.

One of best lodge experiences ever. Huge room with two sinks, four chairs, private patio. Great shower and decent towels. Simple parking right outside the front door. Lots of restaurants and neat shops within a few blocks. Swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi which is also available to community for a fee. Microwave down the hall to reheat leftovers that you couldn’t finish during last night’s dinner. The tissues weren’t the softness we prefer, but, hey, with so many amenities, who’s complaining?
I’ll recommend to friends and hope to return one day.

The carpeted floor in our room was filthy and sticky. In order to not walk on it in bare feet, we wore socks, which were black after only an hour of walking around in the room. The bathroom sink was surrounded by woefully inadequate space to put one's personal items (toothbrush, toothpaste, etc.) and the floor was also sticky. The motel was in desperate need of cleaning and renovation. Desk personal did not offer us anything in the way of compensation. Air conditioning unit was blocked by two over-sized chairs and a table, blocking cool air coming from it. NOT RECOMMENDED. Try the hotel one block away -- hopefully, that's cleaner and in better shape.

I was very disappointed that the room we had reserved was a king sized bedroom on the second floor of the Motor Inn. The floor where our room was did not have an elevator. My significant other has back problems. We asked for a different king sized room. Unfortunately, they did not have another king sized room. We were forced to take a room with two queen sized beds, which was a big disappointment. They did \"upgrade\" us to a suite but I was much more interested in the king bed.

Very convenient location for a visit to Wellsboro. The indoor pool, sauna, and hot tub are great - locals have memberships to use these facilities and will chat with you if you use them. This property is older, and not luxurious, but overall really nice. We like the free breakfast, too!

It was a very nice day. Walked around town, did a little window shopping and regular shopping. Went down to the park. We ate at the steakhouse on Main Street which was very good. We tried to use the Old Wagon down the canyon and couldn't do it

Our room had a door to the outside and a door to the inside so it felt more like a low class motel, with cars parked outside the door. The room had a nasty dirty house odor. Luckily, there was a grocery store across the street to buy air fresheners for our room. Beds were used beyond their years and was like sleeping on pillows. We were given a connecting room and we could hear everything in the adjoining room, as if we were all in the same room. Will not return again.

I felt very at home here. The room was spacious, clean and and well furnished. I liked bright light in the bathroom and two sinks was a plus as well. There was a nice table and two high backed chairs with a floor lamp for reading. Great stuff. Only one significant complaint is the \"whitener, \"colorant a cafe ou the\". It has no dairy content and can only ruin your coffee, which turns muddy. This stuff is beyond sub-par. The owners should try this out themselves!!

I had forgotten my charging block and stopped by the front desk to ask if there was a 24 hour convenience store and she noticed I was carrying my charging wire without the block and asked if I needed a charging block and she said she believed there was a spare handy and she found it immediately. Stay away. Bargain pricing should have told us something right from the start. Was to spend 2 days biking the PA Grand Canyon but left a day early because lodge was pretty disgusting.
The public areas and stairwells are littered with cigarette butts and are truly filthy. A used coffee cup, 1/2 filled with old coffee and cigarette butts, sat on the stairs for the 24 hours we stayed. A power wash might take care of it but I don’t believe there’s anybody there who could do it. The staff all sit around in the lobby/breakfast area and talk to each other most of the day…felt like we were intruding.
The rooms were just beaten to death…not dirty but a bathroom door that wouldn’t close properly, old carpeting, paint scratched off of the trim and an overall damness.
Breakfast was decent with a toasted bagel, cereal and pre-made cheese omelettes.
The indoor pool was obviously the huge draw for families with young children.
The public areas and stairwells are littered with cigarette butts and are truly filthy. A used coffee cup, 1/2 filled with old coffee and cigarette butts, sat on the stairs for the 24 hours we stayed. A power wash might take care of it but I don’t believe there’s anybody there who could do it. The staff all sit around in the lobby/breakfast area and talk to each other most of the day…felt like we were intruding.

The place was clean. Our room was in the old part of the lodge. The room was very worn, electrical outlets were only two prong, and most of them were so loose the plugs just fell out. Bathroom door was warped, it could barely be closed, and could only be opened with a huge bang.

Had everything I wanted for a single night. Comfortable, clean, safe, easy to find, right in the middle of a nice town (Wellsboro). Decent breakfast included. Indoor pool, which I did not use.

The first time I stayed the room was fantastic 2 queen beds, the second time I stayed ( I chose 2 double beds) the room was not as nice. No refrigerator or microwave in the room and the bathroom was not as spacious. The breakfast could use an upgrade. I was happy enough though that I came back a second time. Love the pool and jacuzzi and the bigger rooms. Hotel staff are very nice.
