Unforgettable location with incredible views

The cabin is set in an amazing and beautiful location, with stunning views of the fjords and water all around. We enjoyed walking the property and even met the arctic fox that roams freely, which was a highlight. The boat hot tub was a great spot to relax while taking in the views.

The cabin itself was spacious, and we appreciated that laundry was available, though there is only one machine and it’s accessible only in the evenings. The kitchen had all the basic utensils and pans for cooking, but it lacked essentials like salt, pepper, and oil. We had to purchase seasonings, and even our cabin neighbors asked if they could borrow some.

Some aspects of the cabin felt outdated. The couch was worn, and the bed was very soft and sagging—uncomfortable enough that I woke up with back pain. The loft area (which we didn’t use) also seemed not to be properly cleaned, with unfolded blankets and pillows left around. That made us question whether other parts of the cabin had been cleaned thoroughly.

Overall, this is a beautiful property with incredible views and unique features, but there are a few areas that need improvement to match the amazing setting.

We were four women traveling together sharing one cottage. These were very cute both from the inside and outside. It was not too large or too small for four. The view outside was also very beautiful. We only spent one night. Compared to other places that we stayed at i had expected maybe some shampoo/soap and coffee/tea. But it was fine for us since we were there for only one night.

This was the most epic location I have ever stayed in. It is on a little point out into the water and we were surrounded by fog when we arrived, so it was so magical and amazing. Our cottage was awesome and the hot tub in a boat was so nice. Also, having laundry available was a huge plus. We enjoyed seeing the baby arctic fox that hung out by our cottage all evening.

Incredible property and views! Maybe the bed was a bit too small for a big person like me. Nevertheless, an amazing stay! There was a baby arctic fox on the property taken care by the staff (captive /pet), was definitely a cute attraction, but to be honest, I was a bit worried about it's safety with guests bringing pet and cars moving around.

If you can get out to the East fjords of Iceland, this is an amazing place to stay. The cabins are two story with a nice kitchenette and very clean and comfortable. The ladder stairs are steep, so it’s not great for really small children or elderly, but it wasn’t a problem for us. The best part are the views of the fjord! So amazing and peaceful. There is also a small laundry room, sauna and hot tub. While we were there we got to play with a baby arctic fox pup that the owners were taking care of. Overall a great stay!

It was a lovely location to stay. The host even offered breakfast for our toddler as nothing was open in the area (it was Good Friday). Beware that the bedrooms are all up very steep stairs. This was tricky for my elderly mother but aside from that we absolutely loved our stay. The hottub and laundry facilities were a great added bonus!

Beautiful place and surroundings! I thought they will be offering breakfast so I wasn’t prepared to make it and we had to go to the next town (only 15-20min drive) as there was nothing available in that area. But otherwise it is great that they have a kitchen and a refrigerator. Sunrise was amazing

The location overlooking the fjord was so beautiful. We loved watching the fog roll through. The kids enjoyed the hot tub and trampoline. The room was definitely small for our group of 6 travelers (2 kids and 4 kids under 13).

The location is absolutely wonderful. The little cottage, quaint and comfortable. The hot tub, shaped like a boat, was superb! We did not interact with a staff member during our visit - as it appeared that they were having a birthday party of sorts on the property with much company, so we cannot comment on that. The ability to do laundry was a welcome amenity. Location is top notch!!!

This property was so cute and had amazing views! Everything was very clean and it had all the supplies you would need if you were doing a longer stay. The loft was a little warm at night. There was a fan, but it rattled too much for sleeping. The windows do open, just was hard to balance keep the place cool with the light coming in / keeping the blinds down. The check in process was a little confusing as the email they send doesn't seem to be what they actually want you to do. Our email said : \"When you arrive: Please go to the large red house (main house) and knock on the door. We will welcome you and give you all the information you need about your stay.\" There was a sign on the door to the house that said private residence. I did what the email said and knocked on the door. A woman was inside but was on the phone and just stared at me and didn't acknowledge me so I left. There was a smaller hut out front with our information for check-in. I would have been happy to do this in the first place if the email had just said that correctly. A very hands off check in process overall which is fine, just recommend the company be more clear or correct their email. The town is very cute and there is a great restaurant within walking distance of the property.

We liked the site and views but the cabin was very small, the tv and internet were not working, the couch was dirty looking and so was the bathroom hand towel. There were no hooks or towel rod to hang anything in the bathroom and no floor mat.

LOVED this stay so much that we wish we had gotten there earlier. Adorable cottage well equipped sitting just feet from the water. The hot tub was adorable (we didn’t have a chance to use it, but wish we did)! I would have loved to stay longer!

What a great place! The owners/staff were amazing! The cabin was comfortable and clean, the boat hot tub was fun ( no bubble jets though ). It's a little bit out of the way on a ring road trip but worth the drive, the view is amazing! Breakfast seems to be self serve/cook so we just went down the street and got a coffee on our way out of town.

The cottages here are adorable and the view is stunning. However, we were pretty much the only people staying here and they put us in the farthest away cabin! So we had to haul the luggage quite a ways even though there was no one in the other cabins. Communication in general was very spotty and we were totally left in the dark on how to check out. In the end I left the key with a woman at the main house who didn't speak any English. So I think it went ok! But again, it was quite confusing.

The cottages has some odd missing items in terms of amenities that we had had at other cottages. All in all, I would stay here again, but I wouldn't be surprised to feel like you're sort of just flying by the seat of your pants.

This was a beautiful waterfront property hidden in a small fishing village in the eastern fjords, with breathtaking views. The cabin itself was clean and well equipped, with a lofted sleeping area, porch, balcony, living room, kitchen and private bathroom. I wish I could have stayed much longer to relax and explore the area. Easy check in and clean and well maintained grounds, too!

Lieu très sympathiques cottage aussi mais il manque un petit nécessaire pour cuisiner sel poivre huile. Pas de lumière au dessus de la plaque pour cuisiner. Pas de tapis de douche et les serviettes de douche on fait plus que leur temps. La literie mériterait également un remplacement. Les propriétaires se reposent un peu trop sur le lieu qui est magnifique. Aucun service vous faites tout seul votre arrivée ainsi que votre départ.

Jolie maisonnette au calme

Une petite maisonette au milieu d’un fjord, au calme, tres reposante
Le seul petit bémol est l’odeur un peu persistante dans la salle de bain et les chambres.. on a beaucoup aéré et mis du parfum. Mais cela restait quand meme un peu.
Manquerait du sel peut être aussi :)
Mais honnêtement c’etait vraiment un super endroit.
