Beautiful accommodations. The entire hotel is full of art, music, food, and friendly staff. You can feel the love and care put into this place. The robes are soft, the rooms are clean, the free chocolate chip cookies are delicious, and the river walk is beautiful. Would stay here again 100 times over.

The room was amazing. Right on the river. The pool and hot tub outside were so nice for a cold night to get in and relax.
The staff are very friendly and kind.
The breakfast was a little disappointing. The waffles were just frozen like eggo waffles. The potatoes were super hard, not soft. The sausage and bacon were strange texture and flavor. The fruit tasted a little moldy and slimy. The pastries were never refilled, so we didn't get any of those either. The service was sub par. We finished our food, but no one took our dishes away. We waited for a really long time to get water refilled so we just went to the lobby beverage station to refill our own. Server was just not aware of us and what we were needing and we didn't need much at all. All in all, we enjoyed our stay. We appreciated the complimentary breakfast however, it wasn't very good. Staff was very friendly.

Room was nothing like the photos we booked online. Spa bathroom wasn’t the same. TV remote barely worked. Worst part was the loud rattling noise from the bathroom that kept us up most of the night. Rattling noise came from what looked like a door into the attic. every time we flushed toilet or turned water on it wouldn’t stop. Spent alot of money on this room and was extremely disappointed.

Only complaint was the noise/parking on Friday night. Our room happened to be close to an event space so there was a ton of noise Friday evening. The event attendees took up all the parking so we had to park all the way at Timbuktu and trek back to the hotel.

We've stayed at the hotel many times. Our only complaint is the TV pixilates and is difficult to watch. We're not in the room much, but in the evening when we come back it's nice to turn on the TV and watch some news or sports event. It's annoying that it pixilates constantly.

I recently completed my second stay at The Riverside Hotel. While I appreciate the hotel and its location, I was surprised to be charged an additional $43 for the room rate at check-in without my knowledge. I booked a 2-queen room that sleeps up to four people, but my reservation apparently listed only one adult, and I was charged extra because we had three guests. This was not mentioned at check-in, and I only noticed the charge when reviewing my final receipt after checkout. At check-in, I was given a total that included an incidental charge, so I assumed any increase was related to that. The hotel has agreed to refund the difference, but I did not appreciate being charged a significant amount without any communication, and it felt as though the situation was treated as my responsibility.

Loved the indoor spa and pool. The Riverside restaurant fiod was delicious. Although the waitress we had one bight was rude. The room was clean and comfortable. Hotel was not full so wish they didn't have both the room above us and room next door occupied. Both rooms had guest's that where loud . Thank goodness only the last night. Hotel workers where helpful and gave good customer service ,with the exception of the one waitress. A very nice place to stay.

I was impressed the moment I walked into the lobby and was greeted at the front desk. The welcome was warm and enthusiastic and the live music was wonderful. Location of the hotel was perfect, loved having convenient access to the greenbelt. The room was clean with ample space, staff were friendly and the breakfast buffet had many options to choose from. Don't want to forget to mention the amenities of having a pool, sauna, fitness center, etc. Everything you need for a comfortable stay is at this hotel. This hotel will definitely be my top choice when staying in Boise.

The property is situated on the Boise River (gorgeous) with miles of the river walk and parks to enjoy. The daily breakfast buffet with omelette station, included with your stay, can’t be beat. The Sandbar restaurant (poolside) with great music all weekend, was terrific! So many bonuses when you stay at this hotel. Indoor and outdoor pools, nice gym, great music daily in Bar 365…nice bathrooms. Walking distance to several terrific restaurants. Won’t stay anywhere else when traveling to Boise. This is my third stay there in 7 months.

As I arrived, I was impressed. Nice property, huge parking lot but still hard to find parking.
Were on ground floor, the noise from upstairs room walking around was very loud. At breakfast, there are no labels by the food. So it’s guessing what some things are and not accommodating when having allergies. Also, it takes a very long time before servers ask for and deliver drinks. You can get own drinks at this buffet. Even when breakfast included, tips is expected to be given to servers who brings the drinks tardy.
The outdoor pool and number of lounge chairs are too few for the number of guests. No lounge chairs by the indoor pool. The live music was very nice. Tried the grill and Asian restaurant for dinners. They were both excellent.

The Riverside Hotel is a wonderful facility. I would add, however, that the majority of rooms are not available by elevator and there are up to 20+ stairs you have to navigate to get to your room. Not so bad coming and going throughout your stay, but when you're lugging suitcases up and down it is quite challenging. I would suggest requesting a room either on the 1st floor or on the 700 block of rooms that are readily available from the 1 elevator they have.

Resort prices minus the resort.

Had to switch rooms because the first rooms fan was not working. Took two hours for hotel to send tech. Second room: shower water not consistent. Went from hot to cold without warning. Room had an odor to it that was not pleasant. Purchased air freshner to use in room. Bed was not level so feet were above head. Bed was nothing great. Pool was great but had many children. Grounds were very well kept. Breakfast was good but overpriced at 25 a plate. Drinks were also very expensive, ten dollars for a mimosa. Has good facilities like an outdoor pool with seasonal bar which was also overpriced compared to similar venues.
The actual rooms are not the quality you would expect at this price point. Overall the hotel is definetly not worth the price. The brunch that they pride themselves on is by no means 5 star. Holiday Inn Express would give it a run for its money.

Hotel amenities lovely. But we were traveling with a family member in a wheelchair and it is not a wheelchair friendly hotel. The one elevator we had assess to, ramp was blocked by a work trailer. Staff was apologetic but made no attempt to move us or move the trailer. Showers in both rooms did not work. I’ll stay again if just my husband and myself, but will not stay if needing ADA accommodations.

We drove to Idaho from Louisiana and spent the week in the mountains for our daughter's wedding. Needless to say, we just wanted a very relaxing night and we found it at The Riverside. Our stay was wonderful with the highlights being the jetted tub in the room, which was very clean, and the indoor pool/hot tub/sauna area. The one negative is the cleaning staff coming in our room at 9am when check out is not until 11am. It is fine to knock but not to just enter with your key. The breakfast buffet was delicious and the boardwalk along the river was a great surprise. We will definitely be staying here again on our next trip to Boise.

We usually love staying at the Riverside and it has always been our go to hotel at least 4 to 5 times a year, but this time was different with the shower not working, cobwebs all throughout the lobby, the food and service was absolutely horrible at the sand bar and the drinks that were supposed to be ice cold and refreshing were lukewarm at best.
