Very tidy motel, no-frills, but very clean, comfortable bed and check-in was a breeze! Plenty of parking and had dining and coffee options within walking distance .
Steven
Melanie at the front desk was awesome! Quick check in… had a great clean room! I’ve stayed here many times. Never a complaint!
Julie
Very noisy. Thin walls and the train going by were bad enough, but then the gardeners decided to do some power trimming right in front of the rooms on a Sunday morning.
Isabel
Friendly staff.
Sarah
Staff was very willing to help accommodate my check in/out times. Deeply appreciative.
Lori
Very nice .
Michelle
Great front desk staff, while in the middle of a disaster.

We were driving from Sultan to Ellensburg as the weather deteriorated. We booked the room as a layover due to rain and increasing darkness.
Our room was quite clean and comfortable. It was on the second level, however, and the elevator was not operational. The flight of stairs was manageable, but I struggled with my luggage due to having CHF. The condition makes it difficult to "catch my breath." We really enjoyed the jacuzzi tub!
We were greeted and checked in by a personable individual who knew his way around the hotel.
Aside from the elevator issue, our stay was uneventful and restful.

Beds are super uncomfortable
Melissa
The room was very clean. The carpeted area was soft and clean. The mattress and pillows were nice. The toiletries were more than expected. The coffee area had real half and half creamer in the tiny cups. The only problem with the room was twice in the middle of the night there was a low, gutteral, terrifying, growling sound in the room with us. It happened twice.
Jessica
Clean room and pet friendly. Conveniently located
Marilyn
We found the staff friendly and accomodating. The room was clean but the carpet looked stained and aged.
Michael
Clean room, friendly staff
Sandra
The baskets and pots of colorful flowers outside was a nice touch. This was a spur of the moment stay for us during our travels and like staying at non-chain locations to support local communities. The one thing I would say, although the room was visibly clean, it smelled of animal urine.
Amalia

Nice, clean place to stay
The room was very clean and the mattresses were comfortable. The staff (and or owners) were very friendly and accommodating. Overall, a very nice place.

Beds were so comfortable

Just what I needed
mark
The room was one of the best motels I have stayed in. The only downside is a train that came by a couple of times in the early morning, which woke me a couple of times when it blasted its horn as it went by.
Candace
It was clean and exactly what we needed
Theresa
It’s a mom and pop place. Dates but clean
Rayne
Super easy check in no waiting, comfortable bed for sleeping. Would stay again.
Coffee creamers went bad so I didn’t have coffee, I’m sure their of fixed that for me but it wasn’t a big deal. Everything else was perfection!

Nothing fancy just an average older style motel. Small town so limited dining options.
Richard
Renovations/ replacement of bath fixtures was evident and nicely done. The bath towels were nice and thick (not like the thin, scratchy scotchbrite towels of Comfort Inn). The carpet was old and would benefit the ambiance and comfort of the room if it were replaced.
Lauren
Quiet, comfortable
Emerald
The room smelled very bad upon arrival. It was the next day I discovered why. The old air conditioning unit had lichen growing in it. Visible fungus growing all over. Lichen is the fungus looking stuff you see growing on rocks and trees near damp areas… supposed to be outside. We left the AC off the remainder of our stay and the smell improved dramatically. BUT it was a bit warm … so I don’t know if it was a win. Other than that and the loud train nearby honking at all hours of the night, it was a normal hotel stay.
Julie
What a gem! Loved this retro feeling motel that still uses real keys and little cards to fill your registration. Super clean and comfy beds. HBO! A very pleasant experience.

1st stay at Dutch Cup, older motel in a very safe
very clean
Kimberly
We love staying at the Dutch Cup! It's clearly an older property, but it's well cared for, the bed is comfortable and the staff is great!
james
Plenty of room for a truck snd cat trailer
Gretchen
Exceptionally nice front desk staff! Check in and out went very quickly and easily.
Basic hotel with larger than expected room and bathroom. Clean, had a mini-fridge, coffee maker, and microwave. Bed was comfortable, very good pillows, and nice towels. Quiet the first night (a Friday) but on Saturday night there was very loud music across the street at a bar. Not the motel's issue but be aware that might be going on. If you're not looking for a lot of extras, at a good price, this is a great choice.

I’ve stayed here many times. The staff is always very friendly. Clean large rooms. Only one issue on this stay… the bed was harder/firmer that I’ve had before. Otherwise, nice place.
Annette T.
Nice quaint motel style room in tiny community. Great bakery…don’t miss it! Room comfy beds, clean crisp linens and towels, coffee/tea in room. Fridge and micro with plates and napkins. Not many places for a night out meal, but I wasn’t there for that. This place fit my needs while Monroe was booked out for a weekend event. Staff/housecleaning very pleasant.
Donna M
Comfortable bed and less than a mile from our friends place. New carpet would be a nice upgrade.
Jordan
Over priced for what you get but nothing wrong with the place
Gregory
Worth the stay
We came to Sultan to meet with friends who live in Sultan. We were greeted with a welcome smile and found the room well maintained and comfortable. We asked if there were any restaurants nearby that they could welcome for breakfast the next morning. They recommended "The Bakery" which is in walking distance. We tried it out and found that they serve large portions of food. And it was excellent!.
Overall, the motel was worth it for us to stay there.

Great service at the front desk. Clean room.
David
Precisely what one would want ,Lots of hot water, Friendly staff and comfortable beds.
Jane
Our room was clean, though the carpet is a bit flat in places. This was fact, but in no way diminished the comfort or cleanliness of the room. The shower was hot and worked well. The refrigerator/freezer were a nice size for a compact. There're a few great places to eat in very close distance. I would definitely stay here again.
Lisa
Great staff
The staff were super friendly and the motel was very clean. The only complain we had was the bed was so hard and uncomfortable. We had a hard time sleeping.

Wish i could give 0 stars
Room 26. Door was broken. Door knives was broken. Dead bolt was broken. Boogers on handle in shower. Mold on caulking in shower. Heater so loud we couldn't sori. Then every 20-30 mins trains would go through town blaring horns all night long. Didn't get 30 mns of sleep. Left at 7am after the worst night ever.

Average motel in average shape.
We stayed in room 23 and it was fine.
Clean with a nice shower.
The front desk staff was very pleasant and helpful. I would stay in this room again.
Note - others in our party did not enjoy their room towards the far end of the building. It was a pet friendly room and it (had a very ‘unique’ odours) showed.

Nice place to stay for the night. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Would give it a higher star count but the traffic noise was a little loud. Should be expected if you are staying on a busy highway. Would recommend and will stay again.
William
Thanks for a great stay!
Steven
Initially room had a urine smell, but that may have come in from outside as I had the room door open for a bit. Smell went away quickly. Room was comfortable, quiet and clean!
Sheldon
Very clean
Angela
Unfortunately there was little redeeming quality to our stay.
Cons-We were not greeted in a friendly manner upon arrival, the person checking us in barely spoke at all, and looked a bit put out. We found our room to be very damp smelling upon arrival with lots of white stains on the carpet. There were visible blood stains on the box spring protector on one of the beds (no small amount- I own a B&B, try baking soda & peroxide, to remove!) and we found a dead bedbug? belly up on the dresser as we were grabbing our things to check out. I left that for the cleaner to see. (we didn't get bites at all, so could've been something else but with the blood on the side of the bed who knows).
It's also super noisy from the train and busy road.
Pros- they provide earplugs (just 1 set), fridge/microwave in room and it's pet friendly with an area to walk the dog right there. The actual bedding was clean, and the bed was comfortable. The person in the lobby at checkout was actually friendly.
A different room may have had no issues, but based on our experience I won't be giving it another try.

I made a reservation and drove very far and was denied a room when I desperately needed for kindness to be in my life. I have a letter stating that my animal is part of a new program from the A.D.A. I needed to be able to get into my things to find that letter and it was 90° outside. I had it with me. I cried in the parking lot while desperately searching for the nearest option even though I could not afford the difference in cost.
Connor
Check in easy enough. Spiders and cobwebs throughout the shower, one pillow on the bed that had hard, older sheets on it. Can see daylight through the door to the room, thin walls so you can listen to your neighbors conversation, and no blackout curtains on the windows.
Sylvia
Reception we got from Irene was excellent.
Deborah
The room could use new carpet but the bed was very comfortable.
Valerie
The Staff was very friendly and gave suggestions for dinning

Great nitel
Daniel
Clean hotel, eat at Bubba's across the street.
Bonnie J
It was very clean, comfortable and big. It had a great fridge/freezer and microwave and hot chocolate for the coffee machine! It was a great value for the price. The staff was really friendly.
Peter
My review
Quaint little motel, in a small mountain town. It reminded of a real life Southpark.
Tammy
Affordable, as Affordable goes these days, comfortable bed, clean, good coffee, friendly staff. There are great hiking trail in this area.

Overall happy. Would stay again but a very busy area so lots of outside noise. Not the fault of the hotel.
Dennis
Decent
Decent for an older motel. Recently remodeled and clean. Good stay with the dog.
Susan
Only negative was the bedding seemed to have a musty smokey smell. I always take my own; otherwise very clean.
Michelle
We absolutely love it here. This was our 2nd time staying here. The rooms are always clean and the staff friendly. It’s quiet, minus the trains rolling through. It didn’t bother us though. We will definitely be back.
Gloria
The electricity was out in the morning when we woke up so we couldn't get ready before we left no clocks no hair dryer no lights not to mention the TV everything's like to say couldn't even call the front desk
Suzanne
Convenient location for a stopover. Helpful office staff. The building has seen better days, but the room was clean and efficient.
Robert
The motel was clean and comfortable but a bit dated. It has a nice green space for your pet if you bring one. It is a bit noisy with the trains across the highway. We will stay there in the future.
Steven
Stay here often… very comfortable and roomy!
Peni
Nice for the area and convenient for our needs. The front seat personal was very nice and helpful to our needs

Melanie at the front desk was very welcoming. We had a comfortable stay. Safe and enjoyable.

Great for a quick stay
Modest little hotel with sparkling clean rooms, and friendly staff.

Perfect Stay
I really enjoyed our stay. It was a very cute quaint hotel. Very clean and the front desk was wonderful and very accomidating for my mother who uses a walker. I woukd stay here again.
Melissa
I enjoyed the clean room, friendly staff, and the convenient location to an event I was going to. We will definitely stay here again.
William
Small and great location for my needs
Holly
Fine place to sleep, but dirty carpet and bedspread. Bed is pretty hard too. Otherwise it was ok.
Donald
Great value
Debi
Very clean and quiet. Good night sleep.
Melika
Very nice staff and well kept older motel clean and tidy.
Eric
Overall a nice place, the staff was very friendly. To quote my wife "this place is so cute".
Bethany
Lots of trains go through the area. Kind of annoying but not the end of the world.
James
Standard motel but impressed by how fast check in and check outs were, staff cleaned the rooms well and went out of their way to get us a jacket we forgot in the room when we left. Free coffee is an added bonus, decent wifi, only issue was our lights didn't always turn on.
Elaine
Great stay! Clean and comfortable; lovely staff!
Bernice
Comfortable
Well Maintained. Comfortable stay. Would stay here again
Roberto
Very good location 👌
James
Nice place to nest a few nights. Found it pretty quiet in spite of the adjacent highway. Some walilng noise overhead, but not too bad.
Deborah
It was not what we were expecting a pleasant surprise we will stay there again nice and quiet. My husband however heard a train. Lady at the desk was pleasant and very friendly. The only thing we didn’t really like was the tv was too small.
April
It’s a nice quirky dog friendly motel. Located 5 minutes from where disc dog competitions are frequently held. There’s a nice green unfenced lawn for taking your dogs out. The neighborhood is walkable, and there’s many restaurants to choose from.
Denise
We weren’t sure when booked, but was pleasantly surprised with our room. It was clean and fresh….better than some of the chain motels we’ve encountered. Will definitely stay here again.
Jennifer
Excellent hotel with a great location! We were in town for a family reunion. The rooms are clean and updated. The service was excellent! Irene was friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay again. Thank you!
Amy
Overall, the property was clean and maintained. Some fixtures were dated and the carpet could use replacement. The TV is also really small, but we weren't really there to watch TV. The bed was reasonably comfortable and there was an A/C for warmer weather. There was a bit more road noise than expected, people speeding by in the middle of the night despite the speed limit, but you can't really blame the motel for that. I have definity stayed in nicer, but reasonable for the price.
susan
Clean pleasant stay at an affordable price. Carpet a little worn, but basically everything was lovely, bed very comfy, nice linens, quiet room, convenient location for travelers. We would stay there again.
Holly
Older motel with many nice touches and very nice manager. Negatives however were significant such as bright all night outdoor lighting and lack of blackout curtains led to poor sleeping conditions and exhaustion the next day. Also lack of breakfast...even a sweet roll...added to am stress.
Richard
We usually stay here for the Monroe swap meet. I asked for a room on the first floor and she said they were full. Between the train that ran every couple hours and the sirens we didn't get much sleep.
April
I go to Sultan several times a year for disc dog events, the rooms are clean, they have a great grass area for my dogs. They neighborhood around them is walkable. There’s several dining options and it’s a less than 5 minute drive to my event.
dannie
For 133 a nite just to pricey for what you get
Ruth
Overall it was good as in my past experience. The only exception was the light in bathroom was not working properly and took several days to get repaired. I always enjoy my stay at the Dutch Cup!
Jeff
Simple but great
We had a great stay here before hitting Steven's Pass the next morning. The place is simple but great. Clean and the lady was nice. We will be back next time if we can.

It was a stop over on the way to Chelan.
Tammy
Staff was excellent. Bathroom and bedding were clean. Room smelled old and carpet was decades old.
