Place is a dump. Looks like it closed down and reopened as a refuse center. Room (cabin) was disgustingly run down. Sheets and room smelled so bad we took out loss and left at 2 am

The motel room could not have
passed a health inspection. There was mold growing on ceiling in bathroom, the linens on beds were suspect. There was no safety chain on door. Walls were thin. People partied on “patio” all night. WiFi was spotty, at best. The office was woefully obsolete. I asked for another set of towels, one bath sheet was brought in. There was 1 facecloth available for 3 people.
I can’t say enough about my disappointment in this motel. Reviews on Hotels.com are either made-up or very very out-of-date.

We pulled into the property at around 5:00 p.m. although I would expect the pool to be closed in october, it looked like it had not been functional for a number of years. It was stained with ripped tarps. There were people sitting in lawn chairs out in front of the cannons that looked like they were living there. We drove around the traffic loop and decided we would drive the 3 hours home instead of staying. Obviously we got charged for it anyway

They got the reservation wrong. The price given was wrong. The advertisement was not what i saw when i reserved. The heater didn't work., 45 degrees! It was horrible. I was told I couldn't cancel. People were living there before us. Left lighter and other things on a table. Pool was covered in algae. Toys and pool hadn't been used for a long time. I have pictures and i am going to my bank and show them my pictures and the picture on net. This constitutes fraud. I couldn't cancel, but when l asked him the owner said i could if i went through him. Very confusing.

It kills me to write this review because the proprietor/staff was so accomodating and checked us in late in the evening after 12pm...They were so nice and understandibg of us being late,we had been driving a long distancr and needed to rest.Howevet upon arriving to the room it was lets just say, it was not the Wyndham... It was late and we needed to sleep but my friend was panicking over bringing his luggage into the room... let me be clear. We did not see one Roach period. However there were Roach Traps. My friend unfortunately has a super phobia with roaches like crazy.needlesd to say i had to eat the 100+ dollars and we kindly dropped of the keys and slept in a nearby service area on the highway. It PROBABLY would have been fine but bettwr safe than bringing roaches or God knows what else back to his sisters house.

thanks for the help!

Needed a few nights to crash while waiting on car repairs, this spot fit our budget and is definitely a no-frills location. meaning the fixtures were a little worn out- but the sheets were clean and the water was hot. It suited our needs just fine.

special thanks to the gentleman at the front desk that helped us jump our rental car when the battery died. He wasnt able to jump us with his battery pack, but he kindly put us in touch with another guest (thanks Louis!) who helped us with his own vehicle.

Overall we are so grateful for a safe place to crash and that everything worked out.

An okay place to stay for a night. The room was comfortable but definitely looked like it had received minimal upkeep over the years. The shower water smelled a bit sulfuric and wouldn’t stay warm/hot. It was fine just for one night but I wouldn’t recommend staying longer since the amenities were a bit lacking, which is not too surprising given it is a small motel in the mountains. One plus is the property manager was very kind and welcoming.

Not worth the money

We were very disappointed. The room was not very clean, dust on floor, plastic shower curtain all discolored, no tissues, only 1 light (of 3) worked over the sink. However, the water was warm, the bed was comfortable & it had a fridge & a microwave. We made it work but will never stay there again.

there was no plastic cups for us to use to take our medication. No glasses at all. There was no mat to stand on getting out of shower. Tub could have been cleaned better.(found long hairs in tub/not ours.) Overall the room was very sparse with any thing (such as tissues , towels Bed was comfortable and TV accomidated a lot of choices to watch.

I'm not giving it one star because the place met my expectations, which were quite low at the outset. The cottage was of mid-century design that is badly in need of renovation (broken fixtures, uncovered electrical outlets, mold/mildew growth in the bathroom). It was a non-smoking room, but clearly people were smoking there. I think the place was emblematic of the Catskills as an area that once was a great place to visit, but has fallen into disrepair over the past several decades.

This property is disgusting. The pictures on Expedia must be 30 years old. The room had stains on the carpets. There is hair and disgustingness all over the bathroom floors. There were hairs in “clean” sheets, the air conditioning is a very flimsy not put in well old window unit, NO AMENITIES not to mention There are homeless people living amongst you do not stay here.!!!

This was the worst room I’ve ever been in.
Hotel.com should not have on there website.
The room was very sparse. The mattresses were uncomfortable. Pillows and bedding of questionable cleanliness.
Floor was soft (with a rotten subfloor). Very humid, though the window air conditioner was on.
We left at first light! Similar pricing to usual chains. Very disappointed.

Great if you are on a super tight budget and this

The owners are great people, but they need to reinvest some of their money back into the property. We stayed in a cabin, which was exciting, except the cabin had holes in the floor, where you could see the ground underneath it and many other updates. Need to be completed in order for us to stay there. The whole place is rundown grass was way overgrown but for $85 a night I guess that’s what you get

Place is and looks as if it hasn’t been updated since the 1970s . In desperate need of major renovations . Room smelled old n musty . Large dogs nearby barking all night , at 5 am a rooster nearby will tell you it’s 5 am . My worst motel experience ever . Owner was nice but pajamas and flip flops are not proper check in attire. Would not recommend a stay to anyone .

Very pleasant place reminiscent of the 1950s. The owner is a very nice man, honestly caring about his guests. If you're looking for luxurious accommodations this probably isn't for you but if you want cozy friendly it's that.

I do not like to write unfavorable reviews, but I would caution people not to stay at this facilitiy.

This is a mid-century roadside motel with those tiny cabins that are just a bedroom and bathroom. Not much has been done in terms of maintenance or updating. When I arrived and the owner opened the door, I was met with an overwhelming musty smell. There is no heat, but a space heater was provided. I very seriously considered staying elsewhere. I went out to the event for which I had come to the area. When I returned, I found the heater did diminish the smell. 1 of the 3 outlets didn't work. The only closet is occupied by a small refrigerator with a microwave stacked on top. The dresser was broken. The beds were not comfortable. $140 is too much to pay for this type of accommodation.

I regret having to leave this review, but I feel it will be useful to others.

A little creepy

It started off the calling the lodge 24 hours prior to arrival as per Hotels.com instructions. I called and was told that they do not work with hotels.com only expedia. He told me to transfer my reservation to expedia. He finally afer sever minutes and many many attemps he looked and found our reservation.
We arrived to the lodge at 745pm. They gave us our room which was next door to motel residents. (Creepy guys in a few diferent rooms) so the room was clean. No blood stains on the carpet. Lol. My wife coukd not sleep l, she was waiting for one of those guys to come in a murder us all. So, in a very sarcastic tone it was a great experience.

A lot better than expected. Had a fridge & microwave which I don’t think says on the site. Staff was extremely nice and asked for feedback when I checked out which I thought shows he cares. No complaints except that the pool is not in use, should at least state that so people know what to expect. Was by myself and a female so was nervous for safety but felt completely safe and secure there.

I stayed here one night on my way to ski Windham Mountain in the morning. It’s about 25 minutes from the mountain. I checked in about 9pm easily. Room was basic but that was all I was looking for. Room was clean, bed was firm, heat worked (it was three degrees outside), and there was a small fridge and microwave. Parked right outside the door so loading and unloading was a snap. For an economical, high-value, easy choice on the way from Philly to the Catskills, this was a good choice. I was satisfied and would go back. Walls are thin, but they always are at these kinds of places. Still, I slept fine. There’s a market/cafe/bar right across the road, but, for first chair departures, they won’t be open. Head right out of the motel and there’s a mini market/coffee/donut/breakfast sandwich place about ten minutes down the road, with just enough time for you to drink the coffee before you get to the mountain.

The Catskill Motor Court was so nice! and a very good value. Set amidst the Catskill forests, it has true old-fashioned charm. The rooms (there are also cottages) are not new but mine was more than acceptable. No coffee but there's a deli across the street, and the room had a refrigerator and microwave.

THE BEST! Comfy beds, quiet stay, great A/C

LOVE THIS PLACE! The beds are so comfy, and the cottages are just absolutely adorable. Please stay here if it's open, just book it. It's no-frills, but so glad they had last-minute availability. The owner/operator is also really friendly.
