Our stay at the Hudson Mariner was nothing short of excellent. It snowed while we were there. The fireplaces were so cozy, the bed was so comfortable and the location is perfect being on the end of Warren street. We were minutes from the train station and the river overlook. Staff was attentive and fast to answer any questions.

What a delightful place. 2 minutes from the Hudson River and right at the start of the Main Street with plenty of restaurants cafes and shops. The room was very spacious and clean. Loved out stay there.

Bed felt a big saggy in the middle. It is a platform king sized bed that perhaps lost a middle support leg.
Also the shower in the bathroom is a bit of a challenge I had a clawfooted tub in one of my houses with the circular shower curtain but tub / shower doesn’t have the shower head mounted on the wall. It is a hand-held shower head.

We were not aware of steep stairs to second floor. Dragging luggage up and down was a challenge. The bath/shower situation is treacherous. Placed in middle of room with no walls nearby or anything to grab onto makes it an unsafe situation. Onsite parking was indicated, but only street was available.

This historic property had lots of character and large rooms. Our one interaction with staff was very pleasant. The setup of our unit was very strange. Instead of walking into the living room, they have you walk into the bedroom, right beside the bed. There was no space for a nightstand on either side of the bed. Although I understand that this is an old house, the bathroom set up (not shown in the listing) was for very tiny people - a twenty-four inch door to the small toilet room and a shower with an opening that was 5'9\". Too many large dressers (5) filled the two rooms, as if they had nowhere else to put them. It's a shame as this unit could be much more functional and attractive with a little effort.

We even had a back porch in the private yard to relax on as the day ended. Can't wait to book this place again, it's special. On street parking was no hassle even on a holiday weekend.

The rooms were quite hot, windows had to be forced open and resulting street noise combined with loud party in hotel made sleep very difficult. There were no luggage racks and no place to put luggage, we were ultimately provided with a chair each for our luggage which does not work very well at all! There are significant stairs, no elevator to the 3rd floor which we were not warned about, this makes a difference as I have mobility issues and walk with a cane. I was helped upon arrival but when we changed rooms for second nite and upon departure no help was available. Staff are lovely and restaurant was great.

This is not the main hotel but a b&b-like building a few blocks down. It is a very simple accommodation, spacious, with a comfortable hotel bed and linen, and a small kitchenette. There is no central heating or AC and room temperature is hard to monitor. I was also concerned about security as there is no one on property. I think some extras like a bathrobe, slippers, plates and cutlery, and air units would make for a good upgrade of the space.

The check in process was VERY unclear! I'm not sure why this place is even offered on Expedia -- it's a house, with no staff, and Expedia is not well set up to manage this kind of booking. We didn't get any information, when we booked the place, about how complicated it was going to be to get in. In the end, it all worked out ok, but it was stressful along the way. Place was fine. Expedia was the problem.

Easy check in/out. A cheap one-night option at the bottom of Warren Street. Not the most walkable, but it could be done. Room was cozy, it's an old building so it was a bit chilly. My only critique is the bathroom - could have used a bit more love during the renovation and better towels. Overall a good stay and a quick solution to my one night stay in town.

Our bed was comfortable and there was a lovely shared back porch. However, our room was exceptionally cold and we couldn’t control the temp. The two staff I spoke with were not willing to change the thermometer setting. I do not recommend this hotel.

We had a great stay at the Hudson Mariner! We took the train from NYC, so were very pleased that the property was about a 5 minute, very easy walk from the train station. We got there around 11, but could not check in until 3, but the property offered bag storage in their ad and responded immediately to arrange when I emailed them.I give Hudson Mariner an A for communication, both interactive and instructions for check in and use of the property. The property was also well situated on Warren street which is the Main Street for shops and restaurants. We also visited the antique mall which was AMAZING.
