This was the second time we've stayed at this hotel and found everything great. The tooms were clean, the bed comfortable and the staff very friendly. I recommend it.

Beautiful space. The weather was cold while we were at LBI but you almost don’t need to leave this hotel, it’s really nice inside and the pool is indoor but has a windowed ceiling and you feel like you are outside.

This hotel was amazing. When you walk in and see it in person, you are taken back on how beautiful it is. The room was very clean and spacious. The pool was very clean and the hot tub was also. The bar and restaurant (Salt) were amazing as well. I will definitely be back soon.

My kids loved this hotel and the rooms are a great size.We stayed a Wednesday to a Friday, Thursday morning there was a sign on the pool that it was closed until further notice. When I asked the front desk about it, the gentleman was extremely rude. I heard other guests asking about the pool also, and he was short, unkind and irritated at everyone. We booked this hotel for the pool and we were given no details. On Friday when it was opened the pool and hot tub were freezing.

The hotel was very nice, but since the hotel centers itself between two busy streets, the road noise, even in our upstairs suite was horrible. If you build a hotel surrounded by busy roads, I would suggest that they put noise blocking windows, etc to help with the noise issue.

With that said the only complaint I have is that I drive an all electric Volvo and there were no electric hook up in the garage and I had to drive off island to a car dealership to charge my vehicle. I traveled two hours from North Jersey and just assumed they would have a hook-up in the garage that is provided. Other than that it was an awesome 3 day stay-cation.

It was our 4th year coming for spring break out of season. The room was immaculate and they even upgraded us to a balcony. The main issue this time was both young children (and of course because this hotel is family friendly) running hard on the floor above us, and our floor, and adults “partying” and make a ton of noise. The staff handled it as best they could. I do wish there was a cafe to get sandwiches and light fare.

The hotel staff was above and beyond. Each time we requested anything it was brought as soon as we requested it. We had a suite room and it was very nice and convenient. Having a full kitchen is great when you want to sleep in without having to catch a breakfast schedule we just made our own breakfast when we got up. One of the things that I and my husband had a problem with is the bed. It was very hard and uncomfortable. The bed could stand to use some more padding. I had to request two comforters to lay down on the mattress to make it softer so my back wouldn't hurt. Also, we had to buy a night light to see to get to the bathroom at night. Those room darkening curtains work great! Sorry I didn't think to see at the desk if they supply them if requested. I was at the store and bought one. Finally the shower door only opens at one end so you can't just reach in to turn the water on to warm up. You have step in the shower to do it and you get hit with cold water but heck what's better than a cold splash of water before you shower. Also the shower head is not adjustable and the spray is a bit hard on the face. From our experience at staying at other hotels the adjustable shower head comes standard. But our overall stay at Hotel LBI was great just a few hiccups!

When we asked the front desk about heat, we were told — very rudely — that there would be no heat all night. With three children, including a baby, in the middle of a blizzard, this was terrifying. No extra or warm blankets were offered, and our family of five had to sleep together in one bed with thin hotel sheets, just to stay warm.
By morning, there was still no power. Despite guests being snowed in, there were no basic provisions — no water, no breakfast, and barely any coffee. Guests were sharing a single Keurig machine with limited supplies. One polite woman from Denmark gave me her coffee since there was none left as she said she was just using it warm her hands since we were still without heat.
We received no refund or compensation, even though we had no power, no heat, and no amenities the entire stay. The food we brought spoiled in the refrigerator, and we were left feeling scared and helpless trying to keep our children — especially our baby — safe.
This experience was extremely disappointing and unacceptable given the circumstances.

I booked a corner room 3 years in a row. My nephew has lost her father tragically three years ago at 40 years old. It’s a thing we’ve been doing. We ended up with a completely different room. The girl at the front desk was not accommodating. The room had no utensils. No way to cook food no plates. I am extremely disappointed.
