We really enjoyed our stay. Hotel is in great location in downtown Fort Worth within easy walking distance of restaurants, bars and venues. We had breakfast both mornings in the restaurant downstairs and the food and service were very good. There is a free reception each evening and they serve wine and snacks. The valet parking was a little slow but not too bad. We would definitely stay here again.

Got there about 45 minutes before actual4 pm check-in. Front desk said the cleaned room needed to be checked by staff and she would text us in a few minutes. At4, we went back to desk. Same girl not there. Was told at that point our room had been given to someone else.
The lady who helped us was named Debbie. She upgraded us to a suite for no additional charge, gave us a bottle of wine. We appreciated her handling this mistake so well.

Suggest avoiding room service as it is expensive and not worth it. Texting for valet car delivery does not appear to be working. You must perform this in person. Also the elevators make a lot of creaking noises. Loud buzzing noise happened at three and 4 AM, staff said this was a fire alarm ? Overall would not return.

Breakfast is not included, only coffee and tea. Front desk is located on the 24th floor. 4 elevators and only 1 working … 30 min wait for elevator. Staff was not helpful. Rooms have only 2 towels and 1 roll of TP (for a 4 night stay) connecting to the WiFi and TV is time consuming. Outside noise level was very high. Room included a steamer that was full of mold. Shower door and room door slams loudly (everyone was talking about that) Bed and pillows are old with obvious signs of use, the bed had dips making it very uncomfortable. No one is on the first floor to greet you. Cleaning service never attended our room for 4 days. When we arrived there were dirty dishes outside our room door.

Truly enjoyed my stay at the Kimpton Harper. Loved the room service menu to hang on the door for breakfast, the spacious gym, the yoga mat and steamer in the room, the selection of snacks at the mini bar, and the location.
The only downside would be parking - self-pay or valet, is quite expensive, but you will encounter this issue at many hotels in the DFW area.

Never got the temperature to preferred temperature but staff did reach out multiple times to address and try to resolve any issues. That I can appreciate. Great experience despite our room not being ready at arrival. The concierge kept our bags and walked us up to the bar upstairs and provided drinks for us while we waited for our room. The hotel itself is very beautiful in a historic building and downtown Fort Worth is absolutely charming. It is highly walkable with a lot of dining and nightlife options. However the service and amenities in the hotel are subpar. The bar/restaurant upstairs is almost never open and was closed for late night options which I was counting on after a late flight and one of the main reasons I chose this hotel. The hotel doesn’t give basic amenities like water and and in-room coffee maker which are standard at even budget chains … room service coffee will cost $26 per day so it’s cheaper to just have a coffee maker delivered off of door dash. The bottled water in the room is priced at $7 for 16 ounces … so get that delivered as well. Housekeeping didn’t come any of the days I stayed. There are A LOT of luxe historic hotels in the area … choose another because otherwise you’re going to be nickel and dimed for basic amenities that should be standard at this price point.

The room was plenty spacious for two girls to stay and have full suitcases and get ready. The staff texted me ahead of time and asked roughly what time to expect us so they could ensure our room was ready. It is such a small gesture that makes a huge impact, they also asked if we had special requests that they could prepare before our arrival. The stay included a free beer/wine upon check in, and 1 free drink at happy hour. Everyone on staff was very kind and professional and the room was great. It got plenty cold, it was dark with the curtains and the bed was decently comfortable. I would stay here again

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. It’s right in downtown so it’s super convenient to the various sights around. The room was clean and comfortable and service is really good. We did have a snafu with the valet service when we were leaving though. They had been so great up to that point but we waited at least 45 minutes for our car which we knew was weird. We checked a few times about it and were told we were in line but the last time we checked they realized our car keys were still there. They were apologetic and got it taken care of right away. I did ask the valet if we could have a refund and he said he would see what he can do. I called the hotel later on just to check on that and explain the situation and was refunded the valet portion. Due to the way they handled the situation which is pretty rare, I would return to the hotel and am thankful they took care of things right away.

Our stay at Kimpton Harper was nothing short of amazing! We went for a kid-free birthday celebration weekend. The service was amazing from check-in to our time at the rooftop bar. The rooms were cute and comfy and definitely didn't give the vibe of a normal hotel room. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and will definitely be back!

The hotel room was okay. The parking situation was terrible however. We pulled up to the valet and they start pushing us to get out of the car before we can even consider if we want to use the valet. They even took a paddle board out of my trunk that I didn’t want to bring up to the hotel room. It’s almost $60 for overnight parking and we would’ve preferred to park somewhere else for much less and without being rushed out of the car.

I originally booked 4 nights at The Harper but ended up extending my stay to 5. and it was a mix of highs and lows. The room was cozy with nice bedding and blackout curtains, but a huge red stain on the floor and stained $120 robes made it feel neglected. Check-in was easy and staff were polite, but follow-ups were often required, and housekeeping didn’t change towels or bedding unless we asked repeatedly.
In-room dining was fast and well-prepared, though trays were sometimes left outside for hours. Dining in at Il Modo was excellent—consistent, flavorful, and a highlight of the stay. Amenities like the “champagne button” added genuine luxury, and bathroom products were high-quality.

This Kimpton hotel is in a historic building located across the street from The Capital Grille and Del Friscos, and within walking distance of Sundance Square and Bass Performance Hall.
