Service was good restrooms feel little loose beds are not that comfy. Hotel was booked pretty much and not enough breakfast when that was included. By 8:45-9am that we stopped by every thing was gone

When I booked the hotel I was unaware the hot tub was permanently closed. It was still showing the property had a hot tub or I wouldn't have booked there. I was very unhappy and it's doubtful I will book there ever again. The price I paid for there not to be a hot tub is unacceptable. The pool is ice cold because it's indoors, I would never use it. The shower did not drain well at all. The tub water would be several inches over my ankles by the time I was finished showering. The room smelled like musty mildew because of the poor shower drainage. (I have pics and video) Everything I brought home smelled horrible like the mildew room. The only thing that was a plus for me was the 24 hr coffee station. It looks surface clean but could really use a deep cleaning! The woman at the desk I asked about the hot tub was nasty. She snapped at my question of it being closed \"it's been gone for weeks\" like I live in New Mexico (I don't I was visiting) and should know it. I'll be staying somewhere else my next visit for sure!

But they didn’t clean the rooms one day
No clean towels and no clean beds
Also in one of the showers the surrounding was crack in the bottom and lots of old caulking in the tub

The bed was comfortable and clean. The remote said it needed batteries. There was a light bulb out. The bathroom was old and the tub peeling, caulking coming off and the door handle seemed like it could fall off at any time. It was quite disappointing. Also, know you are right next to an active train track.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, breakfast was pretty good. The beds were very comfortable. The bathroom in our room could definitely use some maintenance, specifically in the tub/shower and there was some kind of issue with the tv so we couldn't watch it. Other than those couple issues which should be easy fixes, it was not a bad stay

Clean room, good A/C, breakfast was plentiful. Only complaints were that the check experience could have been better but not prohibitive; It took her a long time to wait on me, and then made me wait while she \"typed some messages\", then basically had to go through enough questioning and typing to get a mortgage, which she explained was necessary to lock down a deposit because I had used a third party to book the room.
The other thing I didn't like was that the elevator smelled like weed, but I found that to be ubiquitous in NM and CO.
I would stay there again.

Staff that checked us in was not friendly or welcoming at all. They did not have a hot tub as they had advertised on the site. The hot tub was the reason we selected that hotel. When I asked about it he said they closed it. I asked when and he said about two weeks ago. Funny thing is, there never was one. Picture showed it next to the indoor pool…but there was no blocked off hot tub nor any freshly poured cement.

I said the place was average. I needed a handicap shower with a hand held sprayer. I was given a tub with “bar” to grab to get in but too far for me to safely reach, as I am short.
The bed was way too hard!!!
The railroad was across the street and apparently has to blow the horn as it goes through the town.
I will be careful staying at the hotels in Clovis because as driving out of town, a lot of the hotels are on that same street. Loud train horn

Easy check-in although staff for check-in and at breakfast seemed inconvenienced and never smiled. Breakfast options were goid.
Pool was a nice size but COLD! Hot tub OK.
Room clean, bathroom needed maintenance as far as tub and cauking.

The hotel was run down, the shower curtain came down when we showered. The toilet keep getting all backed up. The walls are all stained and the wash cloths were all dirty like strained. The hot tub water looked black. The lights in our bathroom were burnt out. The breakfast ended at 9, I would think it would be at least at 10.

We arrived and were greeted upon entering. Since we were traveling with a small freezer in bed of truck I did ask the front desk person if they had cameras and he said yes and he would keep an eye on it which was extremely kind. Our room was cool and the bed was very firm but hats how we like it. We did hear a train once before 11pm and another around 5am but it did not wake us or disturb our sleep and our room was on the side of the train tracks. The only thing I think could be improved was breakfast but it was what you usually get at a hotel, no better and no worse. The only fruit offered was apples and bananas would have been nice for the cereal.

Overall it was a nice room and we would not hesitate to stop here again.

Christina working the front-desk during our check-in was genuinely kind, thoughtful, and caring. No amount of training causes this to happen. It was all her.

Otherwise, although the building is long-in-the-tooth, the rooms are clean, and the area is quiet. Other than the distinct and quite powerful odor of weed on our floor, everything was as good as it gets for a Sleep Inn.

Breakfast, on the other hand, was a horrible mix of food-like substances that should only be eaten by those looking to shave years off their lives.

Was awaken a few times at night from trains right across the street. Shower did not get hot water and the room smelled a little funny. Bed was too firm for me so sleep was also uncomfortable.

It's Clovis though, don't expect to get much better unless you go further away from the train tracks into town.

Overall, Sleep Inn was a good stop over place during my road travel through Clovis. The place looks recently renovated, shared areas were clean, and the accommodations were comfortable.

With that being said, I have concern. Even though the hotel looks like it went through recent renovations, I was put in a room that was in no shape to be given to any guest. It was obvious damage was isolated to this single room, and the damage was deep in both the sleeping and bath spaces.

I was given a different room when I requested a change, which was the proper thing to do. For that, I do keep the overall review positive. But truth be told, given the condition of the first room, I pause to question how welcome I was in this business.

I have requested a direct contact to Management to share pictures and details. Overall, I would give this property a positive review with caveat of awareness.

During this time, I consider any establishment that runs Fox News on the common television not safe for a demographic that does not fit the Fox News profile. As a solo traveler, these are cues I pay attention to. Given the room I was given, Fox News running in the background and my presenting demographic, it gives a warning cue.

The guests were varied, so that helped give me a bit of feelings of security. However, a weather channel would be a better choice to run on the television for your guests AND staff to see.

We requested an accessible room; it was on the 2nd floor. The bathtub drain did not do its job and there was an inch of water when showering. The complimentary dispensers contained lotion, not hair conditioner (not an issue for us, but a general observation that shows lackluster care). The room AC unit had a slow drip that resulted in a very wet floor that we didn't see due to the color of the carpet, and a box we had with us was destroyed. Also, the TV did not work initially. The manager came to fix it, but his fix didn't work. We decided to not worry about the TV, but the wi-fi was also spotty; we used our phone hot spots instead. We left a night early. When we checked out a night early, we weren't able to negotiate a refund due to using a 3rd party to purchase (ultimately received $2.20 for canceling the last night- check the fine print!). The desk clerk was not apologetic and did not appear to write down that the A/C unit needed fixing. We won't be back here.

When putting in reservation I specificly asked for a non pet room and when we walked into the room the stench of dog pee knocked us over. I went to desk and asked for a non pet room and she said well all of our rooms have had pets in them at onetime or another. But manager had non pet rooms and was moved and was alot better. CUSTOMER service is key in my book.

Very clean hotel, comfortable beds, nice indoor pool and hot tub. Fast elevator, I know this doesn’t sound like much but the last 5 hotels I stayed at had very slow elevators. Like a full 2 minutes waiting on it to even show up. This one was there in 3 seconds and had you the lobby in 2 seconds. Only downside is the train station right across the street. I didn’t hear it in the room but outside was loud ever 5 minutes. But a non issue once inside

The property itself wasn’t bad. On the outside it’s not terrible.The bed was comfortable, and the room had good furniture. However, the bathroom was one of the most disgusting things I’ve ever seen. There was shower scum in the tub. The tub itself was cracked and faucet handle was hanging on by a thread. Not only that but the shower didn’t drain so I was standing in a puddle as I showered. All I could think of was all the people who had been there before me. I felt like I left that shower experience dirtier than I entered. Finally, beneath the sink was the gnarliest water damage I’ve ever seen. I would highly recommend that The Sleep Inn in Clovis update their bathrooms. I under that it’s cheap and you get what you pay for, but I shouldn’t have to worry about my health.

This property is located next to a train that runs constantly. If you need sleep, this is difficult. Our particular room wasn't very maintained with a shower that was cracked and patched in several places. It was acceptable, but I would not stay again.
