Arriving I saw there was a lot of construction, no open sign, so I couldn’t tell if it was open. Check in was fine, seemed really sketch tho. Got to my room and my ice bag was on the floor, shower had gunk in corners, hair all throughout the floor and drain. Toilet was disgusting with brown spots all over and even a hole in the seat. I checked out a day early because room service tried to get in while there was a do no disturb sign on my door which made me feel very unsafe. Very thin walls I could hear every train passing by and every sound outside. I would be very embarrassed to be the owner of the establishment and I think they should have an inspection/ undercover boss come in ASAP.

The pool advertised has been closed for over 2 years. The room was clean comfortable but reeked of mildew. The staff was very nice courteous helpful but the neighborhood this facility is at felt sketchy. I noticed even the staff locks the door to the office. You have to wait until they unlock it to enter. I do not recommend single woman nor families to stay here

we spent one and a half miserable hours here. there was incredibly loud banging coming from the AC unit, which didn’t turn off. the electricity to our room was off until we checked in - hot temperatures and flashing 12:00 radio. we tried to call multiple times over an hour about the constant banging sounds with no response. we went to the front desk, in an area sketchy enough to need a shielded transaction window, and it was empty with a sign that said be back in 10 mins. they weren’t, either no staff present or maybe on her phone in back? since we had a long drive we eventually packed up and left and on the way (still in clovis) i rented a much better room for the same price with a manned front desk and got some actual sleep.

The young woman who checked us in was very helpful and friendly. She came to the room to help hook up my Roku when I had an issue. The room itself was larger than expected. The fridge was also larger than most with an actual freezer. We would stay here again.

Room next to us seemed like an \"hourly rate\" room

Got there at 4:15pm and the lobby door was locked. When I tried checking in, the girl working the front desk got almost hysterical because we had booked a room with a king bed and she only had one on the other side of the complex. She kept trying to change it to a room with 2 beds because \"over there is where we put the locals and they're BAD\" and said over and over she didn't know what to do. Judging from what happened that night, I can only assume she meant the \"local\" side of the complex is where they put the \"pay by the hour\" guests. I told her to just give me the room with the king bed since we were only there to sleep. The room looked decent enough, but the hot water was lukewarm at best. When we got back to our room that night, the door to the room was cracked open, but luckily nothing was taken. I should have listened about the \"locals\" because the woman in the room next to us had a...FUN night. I was constantly woken up by obvious noises and thought her bedframe was going to come through the wall. Overall, didn't sleep, didn't feel safe, and wanted to leave ASAP. Maybe the other side of the complex is okay, but if you know guests are \"bad\" why would you keep giving them rooms?

Spend the money and stay at a non budget motel.

Things that need to be improved-
Some things upgraded, others not…like putting lipstick on a pig.
Hairdryer was so filthy that I chose to leave my hair dirty rather than touch it!
Clock was not working, A/C-heat was a old window type unit set into a wall. It cycled on and off with a loud clunk every time. Woke me several times.
The units are accessed from front parking and rude people slammed their car doors all night long. A car alarm went off at 2 a.m. and the trains along with the highway noise made for a very sleepless night.
The evening desk clerk was unsure if there would be breakfast because “ not very many people were staying there” huh?!!!
Sure enough, no breakfast and not even a bagged carry out offered. If the listing states breakfast..
I want it, no excuses!

This place is so bad, the room smelled disgusting with smoke, there were dead flies all over the room, as soon as we pulled in a crackhead walked up to us trying to intimidate. Just not safe at all. To add to it, the manager is terrible. We walked into the room and walked right out and they refused to refund me despite their dirty rooms that I did not stay in... Don't waste your time or money on this place. Literally go anywhere else and you will have a more pleasant experience. 0 stars!

The Econolodge chain of hotels is budgety, so you know what to expect. It was about as one would think it should be for the price......a decent deal for the money. The only disappointment was that the pool was closed for the \"season\" in early July with lots of hot weather still ahead!

The ladies do a great job of cleaning the rooms. They're very nice, quiet, and have everything you need to have a pleasant stay. The continental breakfast is enough to get you on the road, and the coffee, milk, cereal, and juices are good. It's a good place to stay.

It is a clean and decent no frills hotel. Staff are very welcoming.

Breakfast is really more of an offering of morning snack than a breakfast. Three types of cereal offered (Frosted flakes, Raisin Bran, Fruit Loops [I think]), oatmeal packets, waffles mix and griddle, juices (orange, apple, something I cannot recall), milk, coffee, and assorted muffins, danishes, bagels, and bread. There was plain cream cheese, peanut butter, and jellies available as well.

The walls are thin and you can easily hear everything! I took a Benadryl and used my bi-pap and slept well.

For my week long trip it was inexpensive and convenient so, it worked well.

For breakfast options in the area there is Don Maria’s a little pricey but good food. They also have a drive thru!
My favorite is Mamacita’s!!! So freaking delicious!!! The price is reasonable too!
Both places are on Prince Street.

So, if you are needing a place to stay overnight as you travel this hotel will likely fit the bill.

Nice rooms!

Pleasantly surprised! Very nice rooms for an Econolodge! I'm always hesitent to stay at hotels with the motel-style outdoor entry. But this one definitley did not fit that stigma. Everything was updated and modernized. Linens were very soft and clean. Breakfast was pretty standard. There was an odd outlet that had been half-covered with a wall when they renovated, making it unusable (is that a safety hazard?). But overall, I was pleasantly surprised.

For the price, this was a great stay. It’s an EconoLodge, so it’s basic. It was recently remodeled and it was clean. Parking was back off the street so it felt safe. I liked the mini fridge because it had separate doors for freezer & fridge (so my carrots didn’t freeze)

We stayed at a econolodge in Clovis NM and didn’t notice we were in a very bad side of town. It was very cold and our heater was not working kept turning off and on! Very old heaters by the way. So we had to sleep with multiple layers of clothes. It was freezing! We did have a good complimentary breakfast though.

I stayed one night, and young lady made the check-in very nice. My room, number 116, only only had a single bed. The room was immaculate, extremely clean and very comfortable! The water was hot and plentiful. The TV worked perfectly, and the room had a coffeemaker. It was next door to an Asian restaurant, but it's only short drive up Prince street to all kinds of restaurants and a Walmart. Clovus gas anything you want if you're traveling, and the Econolodge was a reasonably priced, great place to spend a night.

The most uncomfortable stay I ever had. First off the Picts before I booked looked good. It said pool and breakfast was open. I check in , it’s ghetto. The girl says there’s no breakfast and pool isn’t open. It should of showed that on the website. I understand covid but there’s ways the pool could be open. Breakfast could of been grab and go. Basically you pay to sleep Or watch your back every hour. Men drinking outside there room all night. Very scary. Ugly area too.

Cheap and clean, but.

The hotel is clean and comfortable, close to restaurants and fuel. The only negative things I have to say are, not much in the way of hot water, walls are thin, I heard the people in the next room talking. Two other items worth noting that the hotel can do nothing about. The area smells like a stockyard and a train comes through about every 15 minutes.

This was our first hotel stay with our dog. Room had wood like flooring, which was clean and great for our dog. We aaked to borrow an iron and we got it right away. no problems of any kind. limited breakfast selection, but still great - make your own waffles, bagels, muffins, 3 types of cereal, biscuts and gravy for biscuits. Great stay!

Ok motel but horn-blowing train goes by all night.

We had second thoughts when we pulled up to this motel. It is dated and a little run down. The room was clean. It was convenient to park in front of room. Easy check-in. Decent wifi. Dish TV with lots of channels. Rooms are nothing exciting, but there is plenty of space to accommodate luggage, and the bed was comfy. However, we needed to use heater as it went down into the 30s at night and the older wall unit was exceptionally loud whenever it turned on. Also be aware that the train goes by on a regular basis all night, blowing the horn. A friend and I were traveling together and she had the same difficulty sleeping in her room, too. For the price it's a decent choice for one night on the way from here to there if you are a sound sleeper, but otherwise I would think about choosing another hotel if it is more soundproof because of the train.
