Great friendly staff. Stayed in the Kaymoor cabins and it was great, bigger than they look outside. Comfortable and cozy room. Clean, peaceful surroundings. The food at Smokeys was fantastic. Great pool.. and of course the views were incredible including the stars at night.

The room was clean and shower pressure was great. Lots of space and a nice porch with chairs. The bed unfortunately was terrible; it was lumpy and so uncomfortable. The right side of the bed sunk in and there was evidence of a support beam under the bed to “help” support it. For the price I paid I expected a better mattress at least. Staff was nice. I didn’t report this issue during the stay since we were staying one night.

We rented a three bed sportsman cabin. From check in to check out, the staff were excellent, responsive. The cabin and property around it was clean and well maintained. The pool was a hit with the kids and there are plenty of food and drink options here.

The overall stay was alright. We rented a 1 bedroom cabin that had 2 AC units. We kept it at 70ish and when the units kicked on, which was literally every 4-5 min, they would make so much noise it was hard to sleep. I actually woke up around 5am and couldn't go back to sleep with the racket. Speaking of noise, a nearby bar was open till way into the night with live music and the noise made it easily all the way into our cabin's bedroom. All in all my biggest takeaway is that it's noisy and if you have trouble sleeping I might look elsewhere.

Was just there a couple of nights to attend a wedding nearby, so didn't get to take advantage of the amenities. We had a very nice stay, no complaints other than I didn’t expect the cabins to be so close together (Kaymoor suite). My husband was pleased with the number of channels available. Very likely will stay here again.

The property clean and the check in was fine but when we got into our cabin it was not clean the sheets were a mess and wet towel's on the bathroom floor so I called the front desk and they said they would take care of it so we when out and when we came back the cleaned the cabin. The pool was not ready and they have a breakfast cafe on the property but it will not be open until next week so we went out for breakfast

The property is well maintained and staff are helpful. The cabin we stayed in was clean but needs a little work on toilet as it was wobbly. The lighting inside could be brighter. It was early in the season so the trails around the camp were covered with growth and leaves so footing was a bit tricky. Also because it was early in the season the cafe and general store were not open. Overall great place to enjoy the outdoors.

We loved our stay at AOTG! Our cabin/room was nicely decorated, clean, the bed was comfortable and the shower was strong and hot. It’s a quiet location surrounded by beautiful nature. We ate at Chetty’s Pub - and the food/vibe were great.
We were there in early May so not all food options/stores were open yet but we didn’t mind that. And you couldn’t beat the short distance to the NP, hiking, visitor center or Fayetteville. Worth every penny. I can only imagine how fun their rafting excursions are.

We loved our stay in the Kaymoore cabin at adventures on the gorge. A staff member texted us earlier in the day to let us know our cabin was ready and had a plan in place for our late arrival which worked seamlessly. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed for our weekend stay. I loved the fact that there was a separate living room and bedroom area because I am always up earlier than my husband and that gave me a place to go and watch TV without interrupting his sleep. We came in early spring when some activities were not yet up and going, so we would love to come back when everything is in full swing. My only suggestion is to put a mirror with an outlet close by outside of the bathroom so we can both be getting ready at the same time without fighting for the bathroom mirror. Lol .highly recommend Staying here when you are in the area.

We stayed in one of the cabins for two nights at the beginning of March. Cabin was clean and room comfortable. Only two problems. Couldn’t get TV to work and front desk was closed. Fortunately security guard came and got it sorted after speaking to tech guy. The other problem was cabin was freezing when we are at 4:30. We immediately turned on heat but it took to 9:00 the next morning before temperature in the room reached 70 degrees. Which meant the very loud fan ran all night. Given they knew we coming, they could have turned on heat to get the room warm. Cannot speak to any food/amenities as nothing is open in March. Won’t open until April. The front desk person was nice enough but not much help with recommendations for food places. The security guard was very helpful and friendly and suggested several very good restaurants. That was our only interaction with staff.

Looked like the rooms were remodeled but they went dollar store on the bed!! Booked it through hotels.com and stayed for a week. For some reason with all the empty cabins we got the only one with no parking space. The road was completely iced so had to worry about my truck getting hit the whole time. The metal roof had about 12 inches of ice that was slowly sliding off so I was worried about my wife getting hurt walking under the hanging ice and a front porch light that of course they didn’t turn on and when on only shined straight down. The office closes at 4 or 5 pm. Never could figure out the wifi. They should probably just close it for the winter. Especially with snow and ice. Will be back in the area in 3 or 4 months. Will have to find a different place though

Since it is January all the seasonal amenities are closed, but that didn't mean we disappointed. Our room in Kaymoor cabins was very nice. We will certainly consider staying next time in the area.

Only things that were a little eh with the cleanliness was the soap scum stuck on the tub, shower head gunk, and bugs in the windows... and when i stripped the beds the mattress had skme stains. As a previous housekeeper i tend to notice things like these but not a huge deal. Very cute little place though!
